Abstract: This thesis search for listening the different voices, the different points of view about the curriculum reform implemented in the state of São Paulo in 2008, taking in account the practice of those who planned the reform, as much as the practice of those who received this Reform for implementation. As the center of the study there are reports of personal experience by Natural Science teachers and managers from this Educational Reform, aiming to broach the conflicts set off by the latter and which can also be noticed in advertisement, readers? letters, newspaper and magazine articles, internet texts, publishing texts by the official trade union of São Paulo state teaching network (Apeoesp). This study takes as methodological basis the reports by the people involved, and aims to present the different views from different subjects given their contexts and the interrelation between them. It also aims to show, based on Stephen Ball, Walter Benjamin and Michel Foucault theories, the way in which conflicts present a professional identity dimension more than interpersonal relations, once the subjects take a function and build this function in its making.

Almeida, Angelita Soares de January 2015 (has links)
This study is the result of research conducted during the Education Master of Science: chemistry of life and health, offered by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. The same consists of reflective analysis on the prospects of new students at the Polytechnic School, mode high schools implemented in state public schools in 2012. This modality restructured high school in the assumptions of knowledge through science, culture, technology, research and the world of work, seeking thus to contextualize the process of teaching and learning from the experiences students. The low participation of students in this transition process inspired us to investigate what were the opinions, criticisms, suggestions and pupils' expectations for this new type of education established. Participated in this study students attending the first year of the Polytechnic School in the morning and night shifts, totaling hundred students. The methodology used was the application of a set of questions addressed to the students routines and expectations in relation to the areas of knowledge, use of technology at school, school community participation in teaching and learning, relevance and integration of knowledge in students' lives, expectations for the continuation of studies at vocational and higher technical level, and other related aspects. Of the answers, we have obtained the data that were tabulated and presented in charts. Later, we list the data obtained with other statistical data showing state and national high school levels and we reference our reflective analysis using theoretical approaches that are related to the theme. Our research led us to realize what are the prospects of the students entering at Polytechnic School and from this analysis, establish new approach on those who learn and suggest new avenues for those who teach seeking thus the achievement of quality education in last stage of basic education.

Vzdělávání žáků ve Finsku / Education of pupils in Finland

Bačová, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
The thesis focuses on description and detailed analysis of factors and the strengths which influence the Finnish educational system, which makes it one of the best in the world. These strengths include, for example, the preparation (training) of future teachers at faculties, the support for pupils in education, or the current curriculum for basic education valid from 2016, etc. The strengths are influenced by factors such as history of a country, culture, geographical and demographic characteristics or economic situation in the background. The analysis of these strengths and factors includes comments based on my personal experience with Finnish education, which I was able to get during my study stay in Finland and is the starting point for a final comparison with Czech primary education. These experiences are also included in the form of written records and other supporting materials obtained during the hospice lessons at the Finnish Primary Schools. The subsequent comparison focuses on the most important points of analysis, both in Finland and Czech education, and shows not only the differences in both schools but also some similarities that we can observe. This comparison brings us a lot of knowledge about the qualities and reserves of Czech education and, last but not least, points to the...

No. of bitstreams: 1 arquivototal.pdf: 11677330 bytes, checksum: 6d04d33e8783570ff539ebd0f5bb1e7c (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015-04-30 / This study deals with a master's research in the music education area in the subject field of music education and religion. The overall objective of the research is to understand the ways in which the musical training of the individuals surveyed is concretized at the First Presbyterian Church of João Pessoa - Paraiba. The chosen method was the case study in a qualitative approach, using as techniques for the collection of data: document sources, interviews and observations. The research has as theoretical basis the conception of musical practices as social practices supported in the music sociology (KRAMER, 2000; SOUZA, 2000, 2014, etc). The Church, locus of this investigation, has four musical groups: the Youth Choir, Camerata, the Coral Society and Band. From a total of eighty-one participants in these groups, twelve people were interviewed . The results reveal that the songs practices that take place in the Church offer different possibilities and strategies of musical learning, which are established starting from the relationship between the group members. It is a musical learning that is intertwined with the other spaces, such as family, school, friends, Internet and media. Regarding the value assigned to the musical experience, in the interviewees reports three points emerged : strengthening of interpersonal relations among group participants; consider that musical practices contribute to a rapprochement with the divine; the pleasure of communicating with yourself and with one another through music.

The development of enzymatic bioremediation of PET : The use of context-based learning in implementing an environmental perspective in secondary education.

Jakobsson, Jessika January 2021 (has links)
Plastic pollution is one of if not the biggest threat against earth’s ecosystems. Almost 400 million tons of plastic is produced every year and most of it is discarded outside of the recycling systems. Marine ecosystems are extra exposed due to microplastics which are plastic smaller than 5 mm. The most common type of plastic is PET. Plastic in general is very chemically stable and hard to degrade but scientists have found a bacterium named I.sakaiensis that can degrade PET with a two-enzyme system called PETase and MHETase. Due to being exo-enzymes, they have to be secreted to function, the thermostability of these enzymes are very low so most research has been focused on increasing the thermal stability with its enzyme activity. This report focuses on what structures are important for the PET degrading ability of MHETas and PETas and how they can be applied to cleaning marine ecosystems. A key to solving environmental issues is creating environmentally aware students through the education system. Studies about Context based education have indicated that it sparks motivation and interest in students and the lessons seem more relevant. This report is also about how context-based education can be used to create an environmental perspective in secondary education.

Analyse du discours économique et commercial et son application à la didactique de la langue française dans le contexte socio-économique de la Serbie / Analysis of the economic and business discourse and its use to the didactics of French language in socioeconomic context of Serbia

Živković, Danijel 15 January 2016 (has links)
In this paper, we present the analytical model of economic and commercial speech on different levels: expository, lexical, syntactic, semantic, pragmatic, and sociolinguistic. Detailed analysis specified in the area of economics can greatly contribute to defining the particularities of economic and commercial speech. According to the results, we offer some ways for involvement of the analyzed results to the teaching of the French language, suggesting various tasks, which would be done in action-oriented perspective. Our hypothesis represents the idea that while enriching and modernizing current methods of learning French language, we actually respond to requests and needs of a contemporary language to ones who learn it, to enterprises, and institutions in Serbia. Learning foreign languages presents one of the biggest priorities for European Union in means of their strategy called EU 2020. Every enterprise which has a goal to become more efficient, more successful, and more competitive on the world’s market, needs a person who speaks the language of a customer, or a business partner. According to that, it demands the adjustment of learning French language, and more precisely said, French language for specific purposes, or French language for personal communication under current socio-economic conditions in Serbia. In that purpose, we pay special attention to the role of language in work, in describing parts in professional communication and economic relations between Serbia and France, as well as the relations between Francophone countries.
