The subject-matter of the degree work is an analysis of forwarding and courier services in Czech Republic (the ``Analysis{\crqq}). The Analysis is prepared based on seven biggest forwarding companies in Czech Republic, i.e. Česká pošta, s.p. (Czech Postal Service, a State-owned Firm), DPD, s.r.o., DHL, s.r.o., PPL, s.r.o., TNT, s.r.o., FedEx, s.r.o. and UPS, s.r.o. The logistics are described as a whole in the first part of the degree work, all this upon findings obtained from special literature. The second part of the degree work includes a detailed description of the forwarding services as provided by selected forwarding companies doing business on the Czech Republic territory, an analysis of comparison, incl. The last part of the degree work is devoted to an assessment of data obtained from questionnaires submitted for answers to legal persons (entities) using the services of the forwarding companies subject to the Analysis.

O principal objetivo desta pesquisa é fazer um estudo e uma discussão comparativa sobre o modo como dois importantes personagens sociais são retratados pela cinematografia brasileira em um conjunto delimitado de filmes: o Metalúrgico e o Motoboy. Por meio de uma análise estética e narrativa, investiga-se como cineastas lançaram o olhar sobre a realidade contemporânea e construíram um imaginário audiovisual dessas categorias profissionais. Com base em autores como Bernardet (2003), Tomizaki (2007), Eisenstein (1990), Pudovkin (1961), Silva (2011), Nichols (1991) entre outros que discutem o tema, analisam-se seis documentários brasileiros que retratam a vida e saga dos protagonistas deste estudo. Recorre-se também, para cotejar a produção nacional em relação ao que cineastas estrangeiros têm produzido sobre o tema, a filmes correlatos, como A Classe operária vai ao paraíso (1971), Sem destino (1969) e outros. A análise inclui a discussão de aspectos técnicos que vão do posicionamento de câmeras, tomadas de cena até a montagem e trilha sonora. Entre as conclusões, pode-se observar que, enquanto os metalúrgicos construíram uma identidade ante a sociedade, os motoboys continuam a ser uma incógnita perturbadora, personagens que vêm sabe-se lá de onde, vivendo um eterno e cruel presente, sem perspectivas de futuro, trabalhando numa profissão perigosa e de certa forma desprestigiados pela população. O processo de pesquisa da tese são o fundamento e a orientação para um novo documentário a ser finalizado e que vem sendo pensado como uma reflexão cinematográfica sobre os avanços e reveses, expectativas e desilusões do projeto de modernização industrial e urbana da sociedade brasileira. / The main objective of this research is to make a study and a comparative discussion on how two important social characters are portrayed by the Brazilian cinema in a set, delimited, of movies: the Metallurgical and the Motoboy. Through an aesthetic and narrative analysis, investigating as filmmakers cast their eyes on contemporary reality and built a visual imagery of these professional categories. Based on authors like Bernardet (2003), Tomizaki (2007), Eisenstein (1990), Pudovkin (1961), Silva (2011), Nichols (1991) among others discussing the issue, we analyze six Brazilian documentaries depicting the life and saga of the protagonists of this study. It also refers to collate domestic production in relation to foreign filmmakers that have produced on the subject, about related films such as The Working class goes to paradise (1971), Easy rider (1969) and other examples. The analysis includes a discussion of technical issues ranging from cameras placement, taken to the assembly and soundtrack. Among findings, it can be observed that, while the metallurgical built an identity to society, couriers remain a disturbing unknown, characters who come who knows where, living in an eternal and cruel fate, without future prospects, working in a dangerous profession and somewhat discredited by the population. The research process of the thesis are the basis and the guidance for a new documentary to be finalized and intended as a cine reflection on the progress and setbacks on the expectations and disappointments of industrial and urban modernization project of Brazilian society.

The main goal of this thesis is to find an optimal CEP service provider for specific company by using Fuller's pairwise comparison method. The thesis focuses only on B2B field. The products and parameters are chosen on that basis and they also correspond to needs of the company. At the beginning there is theoretical part, which enables to understand the following problematic and analysis properly. The next part explains the needs of companies in B2B field in the terms of CEP services. The last part is mainly about analysis and about the specific case. At the end of the thesis there is a final conclusion.

This Master's thesis focuses on chosen logistic processes of the specific e-shop. In the theoretical part, the specific environment of e-shops is described. This part also contains theoretical base for providers of courier, express and parcel services. The practical part of the thesis is divided into two parts. The first one shows ABC analysis and its suitability for the chosen entity. In the other part, sent parcels are analyzed, focusing on its structure and frequency. In the conclusion of the paper, there is an evaluation of benefits from the proceedings taken during the elaboration of this thesis.

This work deals with the assessment of the current state of processing invoicing in the company Dropick, Ltd. I will create consequently the software aplication in the creative environment Microsoft Visual Studio based on the analysis and requirements of the company, which will automatize the process of invoicing. This will save not only financial, but also time requirements dedicated to this activity.

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of oral and written communication through the groups of couriers, who mediated between smaller royal dowry town Dvůr Králové nad Labem and its own villages as well as another distant locations situated in another dominion. Diploma thesis applies to region called Podkrkonoší in the advanced Early Modern Period, describes and analyses some of the preserved archival primary sources of knowledge dedicated to the courier services in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. It mentions the enviroment in which the gateke- epers and other couriers fulfilled their services. This thesis attempts to define the relationship between the distance and courier's income in Dvůr Králové nad Labem's domain and outside of it. In the context of diverse contents of oral and written messages the thesis mentions sever- al other topics, for example the actual filling work of corvée (or statute labour), showing by gatekeepers the way to hussar-soldier at surveying, transport of beggars and vagabonds and even the beginning of postal services in this area. Working method is based on detailed archival probe into rarely preserved municipal bookkeeping, especially into records of gate- keeper's courier services and records of other settled couriers both from the year 1740 and 1768. In recent years, many academics have noticed the presence of food delivery couriers in theurban space. Likewise, activism has emerged calling for the recognition of food deliverycouriers, and many have addressed the dehumanization they have suffered by becomingcommodities and, thus, objects. Therefore, the food delivery courier has the potential tobecome a case study that can problematize how humanity categorizes what counts as humanand not. Through understanding how food delivery couriers shape the urban landscape, theiragency cannot be denied. This thesis uses the phenomenological method to reflect upon first-hand bodilyexperiences of the researcher and food delivery courier, who in this case is based in Malmö,Sweden. The food delivery courier finds and creates meaning by encountering the manyactors involved in city making by cycling in the city. Thus, this thesis is a materialization ofmore than human encounters and a space to reflect upon their relevance in creating the city asthe result of a coalition of multi-ontological intentionalities.

Courier companies receive delivery orders at different times in advance. Some orders are known long beforehand, some arise with a very short notice. Currently the order delegation, deciding which car is going to drive which order, is performed completely manually by a (TL) where the TL use their experience to guess upcoming orders. If delivery orders could be predicted beforehand, algorithms could create suggestions for vehicle routing and vehicle selection. This thesis used the data set from a Stockholm based courier company. The Stockholm area was divided into zones using agglomerative clustering and K-Means, where the zones were used to group deliveries into time-sliced Origin Destination (OD) matrices. One cell in one OD-matrix contained the number of deliveries from one zone to another during one hour. Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) Recurrent Neural Networks were used for the prediction. The training features consisted of prior OD-matrices, week day, hour of day, month, precipitation, and the air temperature. The LSTM based approach performed better than the baseline, the Mean Squared Error was reduced from 1.1092 to 0.07705 and the F1 score increased from 41% to 52%. All features except for the precipitation and air temperature contributed noticeably to the prediction power. The result indicates that it is possible to predict some future delivery orders, but that many are random and are independent from prior deliveries. Letting the model train on data as it is observed would likely boost the predictive power. / Budföretag får in leveransorder olika tid i förväg. Vissa order är kända lång tid i förväg, medan andra uppkommer med kort varsel. I dagsläget genomförs orderdelegationen, delegering av vilken bil som kör vilken order, manuellt av en transportledare (TL) där TL använder sin erfarenhet för att gissa framtida order. Om leveransorder skulle kunna förutsägas i förväg kan fordonsrutter och fordonsval föreslås av algoritmer. Denna uppsats använde sig utav ett dataset från ett Stockholmsbaserat budföretag. Stockholmsområdet delades in i zoner med agglomerativ klustring och K-Means, där zoner användes för att gruppera leveranser in i tidsdelade Ursprungsdestinationsmatriser (OD-matriser).  En cell i en OD-matris innehåller antalet leveranser från en zon till en annan under en timme. Neurala nätverk med lång-kortsiktsminne (LSTM) användes för förutsägelsen. Modellen tränades på tidigare OD-matriser, veckodag, timme, månad, nederbörd, och lufttemperatur. Det LSTM-baserade tillvägagångssättet presterade bättre än baslinjen, det genomsnittliga kvadratfelet minskade från 1,1092 till 0,07705 och F1-poängen ökade från 41% till 52%. Nederbörd och lufttemperatur bidrog inte märkbart till förutsägelsens prestation. Resultatet indikerar att det är möjligt att förutse vissa leveransorder, men att en stor andel är slumpmässiga och oberoende från tidigare leveranser. Att låta modellen tränas med nya data när den observeras skulle troligtvis öka prognosförmågan.
