The starting point is different PR-consultants opinion about their profession and industry. What do they think needs to be done to increase the trust for the industry and what kind of responsibility do they think they have?</p><p>Method/Material: Together with literature studies, a qualitative method has been used and five in-depth interviews with PR-consultants have been conducted. The persons interviewed all worked with questions concerning lobbying and influencing the public opinion, within Swedish PR-firms.</p><p>Main Results: The main results show that the PR-consultants pay different attention to the factors of the model, in terms of what can be done for the trust for the industry and profession. How does environment and facilities influence people during team work? – The design of a multifunctional desk to enhance creativity

Creativity and innovation are two forces that impel industries. Product design is often assigned to a team consisting of members from different backgrounds. To support the collaboration, there are many special places built for creativity and innovation, referred to as “creative space” in this thesis. Doing the project in a well-designed creative space can enhance creativity and productivity.However, most creative spaces are still using the facilities and furniture from common conference rooms, even though they are built for other purposes. Due to different working modes, the conference room does not suit for group design processes. It is still not widely accepted that what features the creative space should have to enhance the creativity.In order to design the creative space that meets the needs of the design teams, research has been done to identify the influencing factors that impact creativity. Based on these factors, observations and interviews are also carried out to analyze the influencing factors and gather data. The general concept and final solution is generated based on all the researches.As a result of this thesis, the prototype of a creative desk is carried out at the end. Some fundamental researches and discussions about the creativity stimulation are also analyzed to shed some light on this research field.

Les facteurs déterminant la pénétration de la téléphonie mobile en Afrique : une étude comparative entre le Mali et le Sénégal / The factors determining the penetration of mobile telephony in Africa : a comparative study between Mali and Senegal

Malgré la croissance de la téléphonie mobile, la diversité des services et la spécificité de cette technologie, nombreuses sont les populations urbaines et rurales en Afrique qui n’en bénéficient pas. L’investigation théorique et empirique des facteurs déterminant la pénétration de la téléphonie mobile en Afrique a fait l’objet de cette thèse. Cette recherche s’inscrit dans une démarche hypothético-déductive et est structurée en deux parties. L’objet de la première partie était de développer un modèle conceptuel de l’usage de la téléphonie mobile en Afrique en partant d’une revue de la littérature sur les modèles d’adoption et d’usage des Technologies de l’Information. Plusieurs concepts issus de la théorie unifiée de l’acceptation et de l’utilisation de la technologie (Venkatesh et alii, 2003, 2012) et des théories d’adoption des technologies de l’information en Afrique ont ainsi été examinés : la théorie d’identité (Ndiaye et alii, 2008), les théories de distribution (Touré, 2010) et les théories de l’énergie (Chéneau-Loquay, 2010). La seconde partie avait pour objectif de vérifier les relations entre les variables du modèle de recherche. Un instrument de mesure a ainsi été élaboré et testé auprès d’experts avant son administration au Mali et au Sénégal afin de cerner les antécédents de la pénétration du mobile en Afrique. Partant du postulat que le comportement individuel peut être imputé aux perceptions de l’individu sur : la performance attendue, la facilité d’utilisation, l’influence sociale, la motivation hédonique, la valeur du prix, le réflexe dû à l'habitude et les conditions de facilitation ; nous avions présumé que ces construits, ainsi que leurs interactions, influençaient positivement l’intention d’utilisation et l’utilisation de la téléphonie mobile. D’une manière générale, les résultats ont confirmé ces hypothèses. Les résultats sont discutés dans une perspective managériale et professionnelle. Ils peuvent guider les autorités de régulations et les pouvoirs publics et orienter les opérateurs de télécommunications, les équipementiers et les fournisseurs de services dans l’élaboration de leur stratégie. / Despite the growth in mobile telephony, the diversity of services and specificity of its technology, there are many urban and rural populations in Africa who do not benefit from it. The theoretical and empirical investigation of the determining factors of mobile telephony penetration in Africa is the subject of this thesis. The research uses a hypothetical-deductive reasoning and is divided into two parts. The purpose of the first part was to develop a conceptual model of mobile telephony usage in Africa beginning with a review of the literature on the models of adoption and usage of Information Technologies. Also, several concepts from the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (Venkatesh et alii, 2003, 2012) and theories of adoption of information technology in Africa were examined: the theory identity (Ndiaye et alii, 2008), theories of distribution (Touré, 2010) and theories of energy (Chéneau-Loquay, 2010). The second part was to verify the relationships between the variables of the research model. A questionnaire for data collection was developed and tested by experts prior to its administration in Mali and Senegal in order to be able to identify the background regarding mobile telephony penetration in Africa. Starting from the premise that individual behavior can be attributed to the perceptions of the individual’s : expectation of performance, the ease of use, social influence, hedonic motivation, price value, a reflex due to habit and the facilitating conditions ; we assumed that these constructs and their relationships positively influence the intended use and the use of mobile telephony. In general, the results have confirmed these hypotheses. The results are discussed from a managerial and professional perspective. They can guide regulatory authorities and governments and can orientate the telecom operators, OEMs and service providers in developing their strategy.

Factors influencing access to emergency obstetric care amongst women seen in one of the tertiary health facilities in Delta State, Nigeria

Background/Aim: Historical evidences indicate that maternal health care by a skilled birth attendant is one of the key strategies for maternal survival. However, the rate of maternity care utilisation and reduction of maternal death is very low in Nigeria. This study was designed to investigate factors influencing access to emergency obstetric care with a view to guiding programmatic efforts targeted at overcoming these barriers and also contribute to health reforms in Nigeria. Hence, the need to understand factors influencing access to emergency obstetric care in Nigeria using the Socio-ecological Model (SEM) and Gender and Development (GAD) to identify associated factors operating at different levels. Methods: A mixed method was employed for this study. Data collection used questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Questionnaires were distributed to 330 respondents of which 318 of them were retrieved and qualitative in-depth interviews were conducted for 6 participants. Data collection were done using a sequential approach. The study was conducted in one of the tertiary health facilities in Nigeria from January-April, 2015, amongst mothers aged 15-45 years meeting the study inclusion criteria. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used in analysing the quantitative data. Bivariate and logistic regressions were conducted for the quantitative data whilst a qualitative content analysis was done for the qualitative data. Results: The study established that education, income level, costs associated with seeking care, distance and time taken to travel were significantly associated with maternity healthcare services utilisation. Quality of service, staff attitude and women's autonomy showed consistent significant association with maternal health care utilisation. Conclusions: The study concludes that; costs of treatment, distance and time, income level, staff attitude and women's autonomy were critical in determining women utilisation of maternity care services. Recommendation: As an outcome of this research, best practice framework has been developed. The framework presents a coherent and systematic approach for achieving sustainable MH by providing a roadmap for instituting measures at the policy, health facility, community and at the individual levels, taking into account factors that are likely to promote or impede the achievement of sustainable MH.

Em uma economia cada vez mais interligada e voltada para o conhecimento, onde os consumidores e clientes estão cada vez mais informados e exigentes, novos desafios são impostos aos vendedores. Diversos estudos buscam identificar quais são os fatores que mais influenciam o desempenho do vendedor. A importância destes fatores pode variar de acordo com o tipo do produto e do contexto onde as vendas são realizadas. Este trabalho busca propor e testar um modelo que consolida diversos fatores influenciadores do desempenho do vendedor vinculado a empresas atacadistas que atuam no Brasil. Além disso, o trabalho busca identificar também se existe e qual é a influência da experiência profissional em vendas do vendedor sobre as relações entre os fatores influenciadores do desempenho e o desempenho do vendedor. Para atingir seus objetivos, este estudo revisa diversos modelos validados em outros contextos de vendas e realiza a escolha de um deles para, posteriormente, testá-lo através de uma pesquisa descritiva, baseada em uma survey realizada com 301 vendedores externos vinculados a empresas atacadistas localizadas em diversos estados do Brasil. Os resultados obtidos na pesquisa indicam a adequação do modelo testado com bons itens de ajustamento. Entretanto, nem todas as hipóteses do modelo original foram comprovadas. A relação entre Auto-eficácia, Esforço e Desempenho foi confirmada, e demonstrou ser o principal caminho que influencia o Desempenho. A influência moderadora da Experiência sobre a relação entre os constructos Auto-eficácia e Esforço e entre os constructos Competitividade e Esforço também não foi suportada no teste das hipóteses. As implicações destas análises, tanto acadêmicas quanto gerenciais, são discutidas e apresentadas no presente trabalho. O modelo testado e suas escalas podem ser utilizados com o objetivo de avançar novos estudos nesta área, além de servirem como uma ferramenta para os gestores de equipes de vendas. / Understanding which factors influence sales performance and how these factors vary in different contexts is essential both for managers and for researchers in the field of sales and marketing. In an economy that is increasingly interconnected and knowledgebased, where consumers and customers are increasingly informed and demanding, new challenges are imposed on salespeople. Several studies have sought to identify the factors that exert most influence over the performance of salespeople. The importance of these factors may vary according to product type and the context in which sales are made. This paper seeks to propose and test a model that consolidates a number of factors that influence sales performance of salespeople linked to wholesale companies operating in Brazil. In addition, it aims to verify whether and how salespeople’s previous sales experience influences the relations between performance-influencing factors (PIFs) and salespeople’s performance. To achieve these objectives, this paper addresses various models validated in other sales contexts and selects one of these to later test it by means of a descriptive study based on a survey conducted with 301 outside salespeople linked to wholesale companies located in different states of Brazil. The results obtained from the survey indicate that the model tested is suitable for good adjustment items. However, not all the hypotheses of the original model were confirmed. The relationship between Self-efficacy, Effort and Performance has been confirmed and proved to be the main way that influences the performance of the salespeople. The moderating influence of experience over the relationship between the constructs Selfefficacy and Effort and between the constructs Competitiveness and Effort was not supported when the hypotheses were tested. Both the academic and the managerial implications of these tests are presented and discussed in this paper. The tested model and its scales can be used to encourage further studies in this field and serve as a tool for managers of sales teams.

The technological development has had a major influence on the financial market through increased digitalization and meant a big change for how banks now are operated. One of the effects is that it has changes the duties carried out by the staff who work at the banks. These changes have made the work more focused on customer service. Thus, the influence of staff has changed and become important to customers. The aim of the study is to identify factors that affect employees’ attitudes towards internal recruitment within two different banks. Based on theories, three categories have been created to compare employee attitudes and influencing factors behind attitudes in the form of internal recruitment, influencing factors in work and the importance of balance between work and life situation. The study uses a qualitative method in the form of semi structured interviews, where the sample consists of ten employees from two different banks. The study shows that there are similarities in influencing attitudes of the staff within the two banks when it comes to career opportunities, management and value creation in work. Differences in terms of experiences and the balance between work and privacy as influencing factors in staff attitudes towards internal recruitment for both banks. Proposals for continued research is measuring staff's attitudes towards internal recruitment to establish a generalized conclusion. Another suggestion is to study the organizational structure of different banks and its impact on staff's attitudes towards internal recruitment.

村级集体经济发展的不平衡性与影响因素研究 ——以无锡市滨湖区为例

abstract: 摘要 当前中国农村集体经济呈现出后劲不足、区域失衡等问题。在此背景下,如何破解集体经济发展困境、实现其从梯度到均衡的演进成为学术领域关注的热点。本文梳理总结了国内外集体经济的相关研究成果,阐述了主要涉及的基础概念、理论和方法模型;以2008~2015年无锡市滨湖区92个村为研究样本,分析了该区域集体经济的发展现状和演变进程;构建面板回归模型,探索了该区域集体经济发展的驱动因素与分布不平衡性;并从空间关联视角切入,探索了驱动因素的溢出效应;最后基于研究结果提出对策建议。主要结论如下: (1)2008~2015年,92个村的村级集体经济发展整体呈现上升趋势,但地区间的贫富差距明显;2008年、2011年和2015年92个村按村级集体经济总收入可划分为高、中、低3类,并且在不同时段,各等级间的村级集体单位会相互迁移;集体经济收入呈现明显的右偏分布,尖峰厚尾的特征显著。随着时间的推移,集体经济发展出现了“双峰趋同”的现象。 (2)普通面板回归显示,物质资本、经济工作能力、科技进步对于村级集体经济发展有正向的依次减弱的影响,人口数量的影响为负;面板分位数回归显示,随着分位数水平的提高,物质资本系数先上升、后下降再上升;经济工作能力系数逐渐减小;人口规模系数先下降后上升;科技进步系数波动上升。 (3)空间计量结果显示,各变量对于村级集体经济发展具有一定的溢出效应,其中,物质资本的溢出效应为正(不显著),经济工作能力的溢出效应为正(显著),人口因素的溢出效应为负(不显著),科技进步的溢出效应为正(显著)。 本文的创新之处在于使用较难获取的2008-2015年92个村面板数据进行回归,相比于截面数据,更准确地测度了各要素对集体经济的真实影响;将空间关联因素纳入研究视域,探究了村级集体经济驱动因素的空间溢出效应。 / Dissertation/Thesis / Doctoral Dissertation Business Administration 2019

中国水环境企业战略联盟模式研究

abstract: 中国水环境行业当前正处在以质量驱动、效率提升为主导的发展阶段,为积极响应国家政策以及环境发展导向,平衡公众日益增长的公共品需求同公共品短缺、低效之间的矛盾,抓住市场发展机遇,提高企业市场竞争中的核心能力,水环境行业必须要明确资本驱动、效率导向、服务标准提高要求下的价值流方向,加快行业发展动力的创新改革。因此,本文立足政府充分授权下的水环境企业战略联盟模式(具体体现为BOT模式)影响因素研究,包括如下几部分内容: 第一,界定政府充分授权下水环境企业战略联盟内涵,分析其形成的理论基础、水环境企业战略联盟的类型、发展差异性及战略联盟动因。通过梳理战略联盟理论国内外研究现状回顾及评述,提出政府充分授权下水环境企业战略联盟模式研究的主要问题。 第二,探索政府充分授权下水环境企业战略联盟模式的影响因素。通过对水环境基础设施战略联盟项目合同关键内容的深入分析,识别出政府充分授权下水环境企业战略联盟模式的关键影响因素。 第三,实证分析各关键因素对政府充分授权下水环境企业战略联盟模式效果的影响。运用回归分析方法对项目规模、政府政策、监督管理、激励机制、风险分配和投资回报对联盟模式效果的影响进行实证检验,验证了各影响因素对政府充分授权下水环境企业战略联盟模式效果的正向作用。 最后,对政府充分授权下水环境企业战略联盟模式影响因素及作用研究的结论进行总结。 / Dissertation/Thesis / Doctoral Dissertation Business Administration 2019

Attityden hos sjuksköterskan i mötet med patienter som har ett självskadebeteende : En litteraturöversikt / The nurse’s attitude in meeting with patients who self-harm : A literature review

Background: Deliberate self-harm is when an individual deliberately exposes themselves to an act that directly damage the individual's body. Many of those who intentionally injure themselves do so to deal with anxiety and the behavior is thus used as a kind of distraction from their feelings. Today's social outlook on self-injurious behavior is in general judgmental. To have an attitude is to be emotionally preset to a situation, person or an object. Patients who self-harm currently perceive care as negative, despite existing recommendations on how to care for the group of patients. The general nurse encounters this group of patients in many places, such as the emergency room and in health centers.   Aim: The aim of the study was to examine the nurse’s attitude towards patients who self-harm.   Method: General literature review based on ten articles where six were of quantitative design, one was qualitative and three were mixed method. Through critical review and selection criteria, the articles that responded to the purpose of the literature review were selected for further analysis.   Results: Three themes were extracted: The nurse’s preunderstanding, individual factors affecting the attitude and working conditions and its impact on the attitude.    Discussion: The results discussion the authors discusses education, stigma in the healthcare sector and the importance of reflecting attitudes. The authors themselves reflects on how the quality of the nurse and patient’s relationship could be more nursing in the future. Discussions are supported partly by Katie Eriksson's concept of "care suffering" as well as relevant studies and literature. / Bakgrund: Självskadebeteende är när en individ avsiktligt utsätter sig för handlingar som gör direkt skada på individens kropp. Många av de som avsiktligt skadar sig själva gör det för att hantera ångest. Dagens samhällssyn på självskadebeteende är överlag dömande. Att ha en attityd är att vara känslomässigt förinställd till en situation, person eller ett ting. Patienter med självskadebeteende uppfattar i dagsläget vården negativt, trots befintliga rekommendationer för bemötande. Allmänsjuksköterskan kommer i kontakt med denna patientgrupp på bland annat på akuten och vårdcentraler.   Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka sjuksköterskans attityd gentemot patienter med självskadebeteende.   Metod: En litteraturöversikt grundad på tio artiklar där sex var av kvantitativ design, en var kvalitativ och tre var mixed-method. Genom kritisk granskning samt urvalskriterier valdes de artiklar som svarade på litteraturöversiktens syfte ut för att analyseras vidare.   Resultat: Resultatet synliggjordes i tre huvudteman: Sjuksköterskans förförståelse, individuella faktorer som påverkar attityden samt arbetsförhållanden och dess påverkan på attityden.   Diskussion: I resultatdiskussionen diskuteras utbildning, stigmatisering i vårdsektorn samt vikten av att reflektera kring attityder. Författarna reflekterar över hur kvaliteten i sjuksköterske- och patientrelationen ska kunna bli mer vårdande i framtiden. Diskussionen stödjs delvis av Katie Erikssons teoribegrepp ”vårdlidande” samt relevanta studier och litteratur.
