Orientador: Soraia Georgina Ferreira de Paiva Cruz / Banca: Sonia Regina Vargas Mansano / Banca: Diana Pancini de Sá Antunes Ribeiro / Resumo: O presente trabalho, utilizando-se de uma estratégia de pensamento imerso na história, apontará algumas linhas de construção, manutenção e sustentação forjadas no interior dos enunciados científicos, pedagógicos, psicológicos e médicos, que criaram ao redor do conceito de criança/infância, e de como a apropriação do corpo destas por esses mesmos enunciados barram-nas em algumas experimentações de vida. De acordo com os autores Gilles Deleuze e Félix Guattari, atribuiremos a essa experimentação como uma transversalidade dos devirescriança, arrastando-as para um território imprevisível e impensado pelos adultos. Examinaremos, através dos mecanismos e tecnologias disciplinares em uso desde a Idade Moderna, de acordo com Michel Foucault, como o corpo das crianças/infância, bem como processos de subjetivação ligados a ela são moldados por esses mecanismos, acarretando um disciplinamento e formatação do que seriam os processos de construção da vida. Para a realização desta pesquisa, fez-se necessário esquematizar e problematizar como a inscrição do conceito de criança/infância ao longo dos séculos tornou possível certo governo destas nos mais distintos extratos históricos. Olhar as crianças/infância, esquadrinhá-las, transformálas em corpos/objeto de conhecimento e tutela, disciplinarização de seus gestos e processos de subjetivação, tentativa de barragem no acesso aos seus devires e, por último, análise das práticas contemporâneas de trato com elas, são algumas linhas puxadas pelo pesquisador no percurso desses territórios (que chamaremos mapaspaisagens), evidenciando a existência daquilo que modernamente reconhece-se por criança/infância / Abstract: Using a strategy of thought steeped in history this research will point out some lines of construction, maintenance and support forged into the scientific, educational, psycological and medical statements created around the concept of child/ childhood and exposing how their bodies were appropriated by these concepts that consequently blocked them in some trials of life. According to Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guatarri, we will assign this experimentation as a diagonally of the becomingschild draggind them away into an impredictible and mindless adults territory. According to Michel Foucault, we will examine through disciplinary mechanisms and technologies in use since the modern era how the child/ childhood bodies as well as the subjective processes linked to them are shapped by these mechanisms, leading to ordering and formatting that would be the processes of construction of life. For this research, it was necessary to outline and discuss how the inclusion of the concept of child / childhood over the centuries has made possible to lead them at the most distinctive historic extracts. Orientador: Luís Antonio Francisco de Souza / Banca: José Luís Guimarães / Banca: Lídia Viana Possas / Resumo: A presente dissertação busca em seus objetivos compreender as representações sociais do corpo, com ênfase na construção do corpo obeso através das práticas corretivas que visam agir sobre o controle do peso. A pesquisa pretende observar as práticas, os discursos e os métodos de normalização do corpo na instituição dos "Vigilantes do Peso" (VP), entidade voltada à correção dos hábitos alimentares considerados irregulares. Ao mesmo tempo, a pesquisa pretende compreender a maneira com que os obesos representam seu corpo e como justificam a sua adesão às práticas do VP. A reflexão baseia-se nas leituras de Michel Foucault sobre disciplina e norma, bem como sobre bio-política. O que está em jogo no debate são as diferentes maneiras de como, na modernidade, o corpo passou a ser objeto de intervenção de poderes e de investimento subjetivo. A pesquisa pretende adicionalmente descrever e analisar as práticas cotidianas dos usurários do VP. Para tanto, foram realizadas observações diretas dessas práticas com o intuito de descrever as confissões realizadas durante as reuniões da instituição. Os VP representam um novo tipo de instituição na modernidade tardia. Em sua prática corretiva, apontam para processos mais sutis de institucionalização da norma. A dissertação, por último, pode contribuir para a compreensão dos temas relacionados ao corpo e à obesidade no âmbito das Ciências Sociais. / Abstract: The present work seeks in its objectives to understand the social representations of body, stressing the correctives practices that underlies the weight control and the construction of the overweight body. The research intends to observe the practices, the speeches and the methods of normalization of the body within the "Weight Watchers" (VP), entity devoted above all to the correction of alimentary habits considered not regular. At the same time, the research intends to understand the way in which somebody with overweight represents its body and justifies its adhesion to the practices of weight control. The purpose is to discuss these problems using the Michel Foucault's thought on discipline, normalization and bio-politics. The main concern is to grasp the different ways in late modernity the body became object of powers interventions and subjective investment. The research also intends to describe and to analyze the VP daily practices. To accomplish that, will be made direct observations of VP daily practices and the confessions emerged within the VP meetings as well. VP is a type of institution that encompasses the emergency of new modernity configuration in the body corrections practices. Orientador: Cristiano Amaral Garboggini Di Giorgi / Banca: Maria Suzana de Stefano Menin / Banca: Tania Suely Antonelli Marcelino Brabo / Resumo: O presente estudo foi construído no âmbito da Linha de Pesquisa "Políticas Públicas, Organização Escolar e Formação de Professores" e teve por objetivo investigar os reflexos do modelo de resolução de conflitos denominado Justiça Restaurativa sobre a prevenção da violência, a indisciplina grave e a promoção da cultura de paz numa escola da rede pública da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo. As práticas restaurativas são muito antigas como forma de resolução dialogada e pacífica de conflitos, com origem nos modelos de organização social das sociedades comunais pré-estatais européias e nas coletividades nativas, mas acabaram neutralizadas pelos esforços de colonização. A violência em meio escolar é um fenômeno que ganhou o debate público a partir da década de 1980, contemporaneamente ao processo de redemocratização do país. A escola não é impermeável aos fenômenos sociais, de forma que a violência e a indisciplina, quaisquer que sejam suas causas, atingem os atores envolvidos no processo educativo e a qualidade do ambiente de aprendizagem nesse espaço privilegiado de socialização secundária, também responsável pela formação da pessoa em desenvolvimento, seu preparo para o trabalho, o exercício da cidadania e do respeito mútuo. A violência em meio escolar reclama forma eficaz de enfrentamento, para além de experiências individuais e fragmentadas, mas como objeto de princípios e diretrizes traçadas em políticas públicas. A pesquisa situa tangencialmente a violência no cenário mundial e nacional, aborda seus efeitos na sociedade e em meio escolar, e analisa a experiência da utilização da chamada Justiça Restaurativa como esforço alternativo ou complementar de resolução conflitos em determinada escola da rede pública da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo ... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The present study was constructed in the Research Line "Public Policy, School Organization and Teacher Education" and aimed to investigate the consequences of the model of conflict resolution called Restorative Justice on the prevention of violence, serious indiscipline and promotion of the culture of peace in a public school in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. Restorative practices are very old as a negotiated and peaceful resolution of conflicts, originated in the models of social organization of pre-state European communal societies and of native communities, but were eventually neutralized by the efforts of colonization. Violence in schools is a phenomenon that has won the public debate since the 1980s, along with the process of democratization of the country. The school is not impervious to social phenomena, so that violence and indiscipline, whatever its causes, affects those involved in the educational process and the quality of the learning environment in this special area of secondary socialization, also responsible for the person development, that must prepare them for work, citizenship and mutual respect. Violence in schools calls for effective coping, beyond individual and fragmented experiences, but as an object of principles and guidelines set forth in public policy. Temos observado também que, paralelamente a esses conceitos, idéias sobre limites aparecem nas práticas pedagógicas. Dessa forma, em consonância com esse interesse, trazemos a presente pesquisa visando contribuir com a produção teórica sobre o assunto e, assim, auxiliar a práxis dos profissionais da educação, em particular da educação infantil. Este trabalho pretende investigar como se caracterizam as práticas educativas voltadas para lidar com as questões relativas à disciplina. Buscamos conhecer o que os educadores de uma instituição pública de educação infantil compreendem por disciplina / indisciplina e limites e, quais ações desenvolvem para trabalhar com essa temática. Trata-se de um formato de investigação caracterizado como estudo de caso etnográfico. Essa forma de pesquisa nos permitiu conhecer, em maior profundidade, a cultura de uma instituição e as perspectivas dos profissionais que participam de seu cotidiano.Nesse sentido, realizamos observações sistemáticas da rotina institucional, bem como, entrevistas não-estruturadas e semi- estruturadas com os educadores que atuam na creche e na pré-escola. Analisamos também, os seguintes documentos: o Projeto Político Pedagógico e as Diretrizes Pedagógicas. Os dados foram analisados de acordo com a perspectiva dialética. Desse modo, em nossa pesquisa bibliográfica procuramos realizar uma análise histórica das práticas disciplinares na educação e concomitantemente buscamos investigar as possíveis relações entre os conceitos de infância e disciplina. We've noticed that together with these subjects, ideas about the limits have arisen in the educational practice, too. In this way, together with this interest, this research was developed to try to contribute with the theoretic production about the subject, and consequently, to help the education professionals praxis, in particular, the ones who work with children. This work intends to investigate how the educational practices focused on these subjects related to discipline are chacterized. In other words, we've researched how the educators from a public institution for children define discipline/indiscipline and limits, and what procedures they have taken to deal with this theme. It's an investigation format characterized as an Ethnographical Case Study. This way of researching allowed us to know deeply the culture of an institution, and the professional's prospects that make part in its every day life. In this way, we've made systematic observations of the institutional routine, as well as, structured and non-structured interviews with the educators who work with the creche and pre-school pupils. We've also analysed the following documents: "Political Pedagogical Project" and the "Pedagogical Guidelines". The data were analysed according to the dialectic perspective. Thus, in our bibliographical research we've tried to analyse the history of the practices related to discipline in education, and at the same time to investigate the possible links between the concepts of childhood and discipline. Orientador: Angela Viana Machado Fernandes / Banca: Maria Cristina Vicentin / Banca: Dulce Consuelo Andreatta Whitaker / Resumo: O presente trabalho teve como objetivo analisar e discutir o modelo disciplinar praticado na Unidade de Internação da Fundação Centro de Atendimento Socioeducativo ao Adolescente - Fundação CASA - antiga Fundação Estadual do Bem-Estar do Menor - FEBEM - do município de Araraquara, interior do Estado de São Paulo, à luz da Teoria das Representações Sociais de Serge Moscovici. A escolha desta Unidade se deu por esta ser considerada o modelo de atendimento ao adolescente em conflito com a lei dentro da Fundação. A análise das representações sociais foi pautada em dez entrevistas compreensivas realizadas com quatro adolescentes ex-internos, quatro professores do ensino formal que atuaram na instituição, uma funcionária técnica da área pedagógica e um membro da direção da Unidade que participaram da dinâmica institucional entre os anos de 2004 e 2005. Entendendo a Fundação CASA como uma instituição social, fizemos uma discussão a respeito da sociedade em que vivemos, abordando a especificidade da formação social, política e cultural brasileira e seus desdobramentos no que diz respeito às possibilidades da juventude no cenário atual; às questões dos direitos de cidadania, direitos humanos e democracia; e aos direitos específicos das crianças e adolescentes desde o primeiro Código de Menores, de 1927 até o Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente, de 1990. Especificamente sobre a instituição estudada, adotamos a definição de Instituição Total, de Erving Goffman e analisamos seu funcionamento a partir dos escritos de Michel Foucault sobre o poder, a disciplina e as prisões, além de apresentarmos três documentos que dão as diretrizes para o funcionamento das Unidades da Fundação CASA, produzidos pela própria instituição e trazermos alguns dados sobre o atendimento executado no Estado de São Paulo e na Unidade de Araraquara, também... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The present work had the objective to analyse and to discuss the disciplinal model practiced in the Unity of Admission of the Foundation Service Social-educative Center to Adolescent - CASA Foundation - ancient state Foundation of the Well-being of the Juvenile - FEBEM - of the local authority of Araraquara, interior of the State of Sao Paulo, by the light of the Theory of the Social Representations of Serge Moscovici. The choice of this Unity happened since this one was considered the model service to an adolescent in conflict with the law inside the Foundation. The analysis of the social representations was ruled in ten understanding interviews carried out with four ex-internal adolescents, four teachers of the formal teaching who acted in the institution, a technical official of the pedagogic area and a member of the direction of the Unity that participated of the dynamic of the institution between the years of 2004 and 2005. Understanding the CASA Foundation like a social institution, we made a discussion about the society in which we lived, boarding the peculiarity of the Brazilian social, political and cultural formation and his ramifications what concerns the means of the youth nowadays; to the questions of the rights of citizenship, human rights and democracy; and to the specific rights of the children and adolescents from the Juveniles' first Code, of 1927 up to the Statute of Child and Adolescent, of 1990. Para a realização desta pesquisa foi escolhida a Rede Salesianos de Araraquara L.A. (Liberdade Assistida), por ser considerada modelo de atendimento ao jovem em conflito com a Lei. O Salesianos reúne condições necessárias para a realização da investigação proposta: jovens em conflito com a lei e em liberdade assistida. Entendendo a Rede Salesianos L.A. Araraquara como uma instituição social, fizemos uma discussão a respeito da representação corporal desses jovens abordando a especificidade da formação social e seus desdobramentos no que diz respeito às possibilidades da juventude no cenário atual. Analisamos essa representação a partir dos escritos de Michel Foucault (1987) sobre o poder e a disciplina dos corpos e a identidade e sentimento de pertencimento segundo Zigmunt Bauman (2004). A análise das representações sociais foi pautada por entrevistas compreensivas realizadas com cinco jovens internos de 14 a 17, que já cometeram algum delito entre os anos de 2008 e 2009. A pesquisa apresentou uma discussão satisfatória para os nossos interesses nos limites do tempo de mestrado. Focalizou as representações corporais desses jovens, tendo em vista as inquietações em relação ao papel da escola e da educação física na vida dos mesmos, atreladas às questões da juventude e às instituições de controle social. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This study aimed to identify the body representation of young offenders who are under counseling and assisted probation orders in the city of Araraquara, as well as to understand their relation with the world by discussing the role of Physical Education in connection with the construction of body image. For this research we chose Rede Salesianos de Araraquara L.A. (Assisted Probation), since it is considered a model in which young people are required to behave in an acceptable manner while being offered appropriate opportunities to manage their conflict with the law and social reintegration. The Salesianos gather up necessary conditions for carrying out the proposed research: youth in conflict with the law and probation. Considering Salesianos in the city of Araraquara a social institution, we analyzed the body representation of young people addressing the particularity of social formation and its consequences concerning the possibilities of youth people in the current scenario. We analyzed this representation from the view of Michel Foucault (1987), regarding the power and discipline of bodies and the identity and sense of belonging, according to Zigmunt Bauman (2004). The analysis of social representations was guided by comprehensive interviews with five young interns aging from 14-17 years old, who have committed any offense between the years 2008 and 2009. This research presented a satisfactory discussion on our interests in the limits of a Masters work. We focused on body representations of these youngsters, paying attention to the role of the school and the Physical Education in their lives, tied to youth issues and institutions of social control.
