Economy Crises: The Case Study of Asian Financial Turmoil

Economy is not always in perfect equilibrium when it runs in capital market system. Sometimes crisis attacks the development of economy. Economy crisis is a sign which will appear in capital imbalance of economy. Inside economy, capital distribution in three composers--consumption, investment, and government is the key to analyze economy crisis. Between economy, war, global-industrialization, and capinvesting are triggers to worldwide economy crises. The transaction costs of capital market were sharply negative-accumulated and the transaction efficiency was zero and under during the process of economy crisis. Take Asian financial turmoil in 1997 for example, currency distress and banking system disruption were the signs of crisis-hit economy resulting in consumption and investment contraction. And there were adverse real effects on aggregate output and employment in 1998.

A Study of Experiential Theories Merging into Integrative Activities Learning Area Teaching in Elementary School

The main purpose of this study was to explore the situation of experiential theories merging into the teaching of Integrative Activities Learning Area in elementary schools. Samples were taken from two classes of fourth graders at a primary school in Kaohsiung. One class of the subjects was used as the experimental group and the other class was used as the control group. Experiential theories were emerged into the Integrative Activities Learning Area teaching of the experimental group, while the control group received the traditional lecture. The courses lasted six weeks. After completion of the course, students from both groups filled up the Integrative Activities Learning Area attitude questionnaires. The research also adopted qualitative research method, which includes observation, interview, questionnaire, and document analysis. As a result, the following conclusions were obtained: 1. Students were used to thinking in one way about discussion chart¡FThey confused suspense with surprise about assessment chart¡FThey could reflect over reflection chart . 2. Students loved visiting and performance, because of fun, inter- action and challenge. 3. Discussion chart and assessment chart could be applied to formative assessment¡FReflection chart could be applied to summative assessment. 4. Understanding the member enhanced learning performance. 5. Teachers must be flexible when they merge experiential theories into Integrative Activities Learning Area teaching. 6. When students had good attitude towards group cooperation, their learning performances were fine. 7. Merging experiential theories into Integrative Activities Learning Area teaching could enhance students¡¦ attitude toward Integrative Activities Learning Area.

The development of private enterprises has become an important factor in changing the Chinese society.It has also critically affected the politics,economy,ideology,and the state enterprises in China.Therefore,there is a need to study the issues which include the progress and the development of Chinese economy systematically.Under this research we can find some potentials of private enterprises in Chinese economcy and present some proposals to solve them.From this research,we have a clear picture about the economic policy and means of China.Using these proposals,we also can help our goverment and Taiwan businessmen in China to develop more competitive strategy in dealing with cross-strait economic affairs.

Study on Regional Strategy of China Insurance Industry

With economic sustainable development and improvement of the living standard, China insurance industry has been developed quickly as the result of reforms and development of national economy since 1980. The average annual rate of growth nearly reached 30%. The premium income of whole insurance industry are about 564,140 million RMB, and total assets about 1.97 trillion RMB in year 2006. The differences in regional GDP and personal income as its uneven distribution of natural resources and economic inequalities caused. It is also caused uneven development of the Chinese insurance industry nationwide. This study refers to the report of the State Council of China as indicated 4 major economic areas that 1. The North-East region: to revitalizing the old industrial base. 2. The Western region: to implementing the great development as blueprint by government. 3. The Central region: to promoting as key position of economy development. 4. The East region: encouraged to take the leading position in order to implementing policy of central government, etc. To submitted regional strategy of insurance operations in China, the study also refers the dissertations of the domestic and international scholarship with analytic approach of SWOT, analysis of covariance and Chi-Square test. And also carries the directive analysis and the summary of operational strategy of insurance business. <p>På Tekniska högskolan i Jönköping pågår ständigt projekt. Speciellt är bland annat projektarbete på MP – Produktutveckling och Design vid Maskinteknik avdelningen, där olika designprojekt äger rum. En del har även fått riksdiplom.</p><p>Syftet med detta examensarbete är att öka samarbetet mellan skolan och näringslivet, och förbättra förbindelsen mellan projektarbete, fadderföretag och Ingenjörsmetodik.</p><p>Det finns tre moment som handlar om koppling mellan företag, projektarbete och kurs Ingenjörsmetodik. Det övergripande målet är att kartlägga hur projektarbete i undervisningsform har fungerat i nuläge och upplysa om förbättrings möjligheter.</p><p>Undersökningen som har gjorts är bl.a. baserad på:</p><p>• Kartlägga hur projektarbete i undervisningsform fungerar idag.</p><p>• Undersök vilka hinder och svårigheter som finns i arbete med projekt</p><p>• Kopplingen mellan projektarbete, utbildning och fadderföretag</p><p>• Föreslå åtgärder till skolledning</p><p>Metodval är en kvantitativ enkätundersökning som kombineras med kvalitativa personliga intervjuer på MP. I enkäten besvarar studenter och lärare hur de uppfattar ett projektarbete i undervisningsform, hur projektarbete har gått och vad är brister som behöver förbättras i framtiden.</p><p>Resultatet visar att både student och lärare tycker att studentprojekt är en bra utbildningsform. Fadderföretagsverksamheten är unik. Samtidigt visar den brister i inlärningssystemet. En del projektarbete saknar koppling till näringslivet. Vissa lärare har negativa attityder eftersom de saknar erfarenheter om projektarbete.</p><p>Avslutningsvis presenteras tre förbättringsförslag som innebär att bedömning, utbildningen för projekt och ökande kommunikation.</p>

<p>This examination work is performed at the institution of industrial economy and production at Jonkoping technical university, for JELD-WEN Door Solutions plant in Forserum.</p><p>Today the focus in the company is on to reduce their inventories binding of capitals as well as inventory of products and that includes to get a good control of the supply and handling of material which is of great importance.</p><p>JELD-WEN Door Solutions is one of the worlds leading producers of windows and doors and the head-office is located in Oregon, USA.</p><p>A great number of wooden doors are manufactured by the company in varying of constructions, classifications and performance.</p><p>The production of the plant in Forserum has a project- and customer focus manufacturing where only internal doors are produced. The overall market they are concentrated on is to different institution such as schools, hospitals etc.</p><p>The purpose of this work is to investigate possibilities to improvement of material- and production control at JELD-WEN. The report will handle the master production schedule to and from the production divisions within manufacturing industry. Focus will be on the way for information- and material flows from arrival, transport within the company and further on to customers.</p><p>Further a map of the flow was performed which gave a clearer picture of the connection between the flow of information- and material for the manufacturing process. On the basis of the mapping of the flow, the group discovered that the flow of material had some improvement potential. The group has also chosen to look on the final assembling process to investigate if it’s able to do improvements here also.</p><p>The report is concluded with discussion and suggestions of improvement considering the flow of information- and material. The suggestions of improvement that is given are suggestions that how JELD-WEN can work with the handling and the structure of material to production.</p>
