Saugių tarpusavio atsiskaitymų sistemos sudarymas ir tyrimas panaudojant e.parašą / The safe inter-payments system establishment and research using e.signature

Milkus, Manvydas 25 August 2010 (has links)
Business subjects have been using different types of payments for many years. But some problems persists too. One of them is debt. It makes companies to have difficulties doing settlements with other companies, makes bad reputation for companies and bushiness on the whole. In nowadays many new technologies are raised, which can be used in many spheres. So in the business too.One of them is e-signature. But the research showed that most of payments systems still don‘t use it. In this work safe inter-payments system was projected and suggested. It includes model of debt circles finding, identification and authority, circulation of e-documents. The examination of debt reseting module showed that this task needs much computers resources. Otherwise, the fact that such system can reduce contracts signing time is obvious too. In conclusion, similar systems could and should be developed in the future.

"WE WILL HELP EACH OTHER TO BE GREAT AND GOOD": THE MEMORIAL TO SIR WILFRID LAURIER AND RESOLVING INDIGENOUS-STATE RELATIONS IN CANADA

Feltes, Emma 13 October 2011 (has links)
This project explores the “Laurier Memorial,” a pivotal document written by Chiefs of the Secwépemc, Nlaka’pamux, and Syilx Nations of interior British Columbia, and presented to Prime Minister Laurier in 1910. With the assistance of Scottish-born ethnologist James Teit, the Memorial is written in lucid first-person narrative, charting the history of relations between these Interior Tribes and settler populations, then putting forward a different vision of relations based in traditional law, reciprocity, obligation, mutual sovereignty and shared jurisdiction. As the document continues to circulate a century later, drawing new relations around it, it provides insight into Indigenous-State relations throughout history and how we might make moves towards resolving them. This work looks at the document’s proposal, its continued relevance and circulation, its nuanced impacts on broader political relations, as well as its impacts on my own political, personal, and research relationships.

Visualizing geo-temporal documents: an application to data from crisis maps

Aman, Hina January 2014 (has links)
Crowd-sourced crisis mapping is a relatively new phenomenon and platform that enables the collection and visualization of real-time crisis data submitted by users through social media tools and cellular technologies. Crisis maps are generally used by both state and nonstate actors for sense-making and as a reference point for action. The current crisis map visualizations only show the location documents such as reports or short messages have been generated from. Such a limited representation fails to immediately show important content, such as themes from a document and their changes over time. As a result, sense-making becomes time-consuming and cognitively demanding. I present a set of visualization tools: Geo-Temporal Tag Visualization (GTViz), Geo-Temporal Pies and Geo-SparkClouds that treat the tags on the crowd-sourced reports as spatio-temporal textual datasets and provide interaction tools to explore the content of the reports. I also demonstrate the value of such tools with case studies and a controlled user study.

Sweave. Dynamic generation of statistical reports using literate data analysis.

Leisch, Friedrich January 2002 (has links) (PDF)
Sweave combines typesetting with LATEX and data anlysis with S into integrated statistical documents. When run through R or Splus, all data analysis output (tables, graphs, ...) is created on the fly and inserted into a final LATEX document. Options control which parts of the original S code are shown to or hidden from the reader, respectively. Many S users are also LATEX users, hence no new software has to be learned. The report can be automatically updated if data or analysis change, which allows for truly reproducible research. Framgångsrik undervisning = framgångsrika studier? : Elevperspektiv på undervisning och lärande

Karlsson, Linda January 2014 (has links)
This paper aims to investigate pupil’s views on teaching and learning. I look at what pupils think are good lessons and place this in context with the Swedish school systems steering documents, such as curriculum and general advice from the education authorities; Skolverket. The method of this paper is a quantitative survey including the entire population of pupils at one Swedish upper secondary school in a smaller municipality. The survey consists of statements about teaching and learning constructed from a definition of good teaching based on the Swedish school systems steering documents and current research. The results show that pupils value understanding and relationships as most important for good teaching and effective learning. Methods of teaching are considered as the least important. The results also show that the pupils in large value the same factors as do our steering documents.
