O objetivo do trabalho é apresentar a carreira de Elis Regina como uma síntese dos dilemas de engajamento e mercado da MPB nas décadas de 1960/70, e as transformações de sua trajetória musical nesse contexto. Vencedora do I Festival de MPB, em 1965, Elis passou a apresentar, com grande sucesso, o programa da TV Record, O Fino da Bossa, ao lado de Jair Rodrigues. Tal programa ampliou o público de MPB e ia ao encontro aos anseios do projeto nacional-popular da esquerda nacionalista buscando aliar tradição e modernidade musical, temperado pela animação dos apresentadores. Em 1966, O Fino sofreu forte concorrência com o programa Jovem Guarda, considerado sinônimo de alienação, e em 1967 foi tirado do ar pela emissora. Diante da crise de O Fino, e também das críticas que recebeu de críticos vanguardistas, como Campos, Medaglia e Veloso, assim como de nacionalistas, a exemplo de Tinhorão, a popularidade de Elis foi afetada em 1967. Nesta pesquisa, um passeio pelo cenário brasileiro de meados dos anos 1970 até 1981 a partir desses espetáculos é o que se faz como proposta. Através do recurso de variação na escala de análise, tal pesquisa traz à luz as leituras que Elis Regina fez do seu tempo, mostrando que estas são construídas em solo movediço, podendo, vez ou outra, ser reelaboradas. / Falso Brilhante (1975/76), Transversal do Tempo (1977/78), Elis, essa mulher/ Saudade do Brasil (1979/1980) e Trem Azul (1981), shows carried out by Elis Regina, whose narratives were made from themes that were present in Brazil’s quotidian at that time. Reflections on the socialpolitical scene, the music, the Brazilian culture, the cultural industry, the art as an occupation got on stage on those shows. The performer and groups associated with her were put in a border area where a variety of languages - music, theater, dance, circus - sang/told Brazil, country turned into subject and object of analysis. In this research, the proposal is a tour of Brazilian scene of the mid-1970s until 1981, based on such shows. By the use of variation in scale of analysis, this research brings to light Elis Regina’s interpretation of her time, showing that it is built on slippery ground and may be revised sometimes.

All leisure activities lead to interaction with information. This study explores the role of the body in information practices in sport as a serious leisure activity. The purpose of the study is to contribute to more knowledge being gathered concerning how the body, both of the performers of serious leisure activities and those around them, is used to interact with information related to the leisure activity in question. Qualitative semi-structured interviews with four participants were conducted to answer the following research questions: how do the participants use their bodies in information practices related to sport as a serious leisure activity? In what ways are other peoples` bodies a source of information in their serious leisure activity and how are their own bodies` a source of information for others?   Theories of embodied information were used to investigate three aspects of embodied information: information gathered from the senses externally, information gathered from the senses internally and information gathered from interaction with other peoples` bodies. The study finds that embodied information is an integral part of information practices in sport as a serious leisure activity. The information is often related to the physical aspects of training such as the environment and to measure progress in the sport, in both the long and short term. Other individuals are important sources of information for the participants, especially when learning new elements within the sport. The study also finds that there is need for further studies within the field.

Cette thèse de doctorat traite du monnayage et de l’histoire des Éléens entre les années 360 a.C. (guerre avec les Arcadiens) et le règne de Septime Sévère (193-211 p.C.). Le monnayage des Eléens est présenté sous la forme d’un catalogue des émissions monétaires. Il est suivi d’une discussion sur l’apport des trésors et des monnaies de fouilles, puis d’une analyse des caractéristiques de l’atelier monétaire éléen. Cette histoire monétaire sert de fil conducteur à la seconde partie, qui traite successivement de la constitution tardive de l’identité et de la cité des Eléens, des événements historiques, et qui s’achève par un portrait de la vie économique de cette région excentrée du Péloponnèse. / The ancient Peloponnesian city of Elis issued a coinage between the half of the fourth century BC and the Roman Era. The first part of this PhD is a corpus of the 2508 coins I know. Then, we can have a look at the hoards and the excavations’ coins, and we can discuss about the monetary production and the characteristics of the Elean monetary workshop. The second part presents the formation of the city and the identity of the Eleans during the Hellenistic period,the history of the Eleans and, to finish, some remarks about the economic activities.

Although the Federal Constitution guarantees to the individual the fundamental right to freely organize private business, which in the tax legal area is known as tax planning , there is the fundamental duty of paying taxes as an opposing point, following the reasoning of the individual s contributive capacity. In the model of Fiscal State, the compliance of the fundamental duty of payment of taxes is essential to the financial support of the government apparatus and, specially, to the promotion and finance of fundamental rights. Under this view, tax avoidance, which consists in reducing sums of due taxes, or even in attempts to completely avoid tax incidence, shall not be legitimate if the tax planning procedures are abusive. Intending to Grant to the Treasury a specific tool to fight abusive tax planning, a general anti avoidance law was introduced in the National Tax Code. The effect of the this law depends on the publication of an additional ordinary law that will discipline the procedures to be observed by the public administration when refuting acts and businesses practiced with intent to dissimulate operations that generate tax or disguise the nature of elements that constitute tax obligation. Even with limited effect, the enactment of the anti avoidance general law in the Brazilian legal order, along with the construe of the Tax Law in accordance to the Jurisprudence of Values, in a certain way, influenced the decisions of administrative proceedings related to tax planning operations. Since 2005, the decisions of The Taxpayer s Counsel, later, The Administrative Council of Fiscal Appeals - CARF, require a motive beyond taxes or an actual business purpose to sustain the tax avoidance obtained with operations under tax planning. / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal examinar a problem?tica da elis?o fiscal em face ao conjunto de valores, princ?pios e regras que determina o Estado Democr?tico de Direito. N?o obstante a Constitui??o Federal assegure ao particular o direito fundamental ? livre organiza??o privada dos neg?cios que, no ?mbito tribut?rio, ? vulgarmente designado de planejamento tribut?rio, h? o contraponto, que consiste no dever fundamental de pagar tributos, ? raz?o da capacidade contributiva individual. No modelo de Estado Fiscal, o adimplemento do dever fundamental de pagar tributos ? imprescind?vel para o custeio do aparato estatal e, especialmente, para propiciar o financiamento dos direitos fundamentais. A análise dessas sociabilidades e sensibilidades urbanas se deu a partir do estudo da história do bar Nós e Elis, sendo que o recorte temporal teve como base o período de existência desse bar, que foi de 1984 a 1995. O foco nessa casa noturna foi fundamentado na perspectiva de que ela se configurou como um espaço plural que congregava sonhos e desejos da juventude teresinense, especialmente os artistas, em sua relação intrínseca com a cidade e com o contexto da época. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram os artistas locais, com destaque aos atores, músicos e literatos, que vivenciaram os espaços culturais da cidade de Teresina no referido período. O campo temático da pesquisa se enquadra na história das cidades, na perspectiva da Nova História Cultural, que concebe a cidade como um problema e um objeto de reflexão, onde se pode trabalhar com o imaginário urbano, fazendo análises de discursos e imagens de representação da cidade, que refletem espaços, atores e práticas sociais. A narrativa foi construída com base em variadas fontes, que incluem jornais, crônicas, poesias, documentos escritos oficiais, textos dramáticos, imagens, vídeos, músicas e depoimentos orais. A análise dessas fontes e a discussão sobre as categorias históricas presentes no trabalho contaram com o aporte teórico de variados pensadores, entre eles Sandra Pesavento (2007) e Michel de Certeau (2008), para as questões de cidade, sociabilidades e sensibilidades urbanas; Paul Ricoeur (2007), Lucília Delgado (2006), Pierre Nora (1993) e Michel Pollak (1989; 1992), para as questões de memória; e Roger Chartier (1990; 2002), para as questões de representação. O trabalho apontou o provincianismo da capital (representado por algumas fontes pesquisadas), as formas de lazer, as sociabilidades e a produção cultural em meio aos espaços culturais da cidade, tais como a Praça Pedro II, o Theatro 4 de Setembro, o Cine Rex, a Central de Artesanato, o Clube dos Diários e a Livraria Punaré; indicou o CEPI (Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas Interdisciplinares) e a UFPI (Universidade Federal do Piauí) como duas instituições que se destacaram na formação artística e na promoção cultural da cidade de Teresina; apontou também o bar Nós e Elis como um dos principais espaços culturais da cidade, devido à importância das atividades ali realizadas e dos frequentadores, que representavam a síntese da intelligentsia intelectual e artística piauiense. / This research addresses the recent history of the city of Teresina, capital of Piauí, having as study object the sociability and urban sensibilities in cultural spaces of that metropolis, in the 1980s and 1990s. The analysis of these sociabilities and urban sensibilities occurred from the study of the history of the Nós e Elis bar, and the time frame was based on the lifetime of this bar, which was from 1984-1995. The focus in this nightclub was based on the view that it was configured as a plural space that congregated dreams and desires of the Teresina youth, especially artists, in its intrinsic relationship with the city and the context of the time. The research subjects were the local artists (especially the actors, musicians and writers) who experienced the cultural spaces of the city of Teresina in the period. The subject field of this research falls into the history of cities from the perspective of the New Cultural History, which views the city as a problem, and a reflection object, where the urban imaginary can be worked, analyzing discourses and images of the city representation that reflect spaces, actors and social practices. The narrative was built based on various sources including newspapers, essays, poetry, official written documents, dramatic texts, images, videos, music and oral testimonies. The analysis of these sources and the discussion on the historical categories relied on the theoretical support of various thinkers, among them Sandra Pesavento (2007) and Michel de Certeau (2008) regarding the city issues, sociability and urban sensibilities; Paul Ricoeur (2007), Lucília Delgado (2006), Pierre Nora (1993) and Michel Pollak (1989; 1992) for memory issues; and Roger Chartier (1990; 2002) for representation issues. The work shows the provincialism of the capital (represented by some researched sources), forms of leisure, the sociabilities and cultural production among the cultural spaces of the city, such as the Pedro II Square, the September 4th Theater, the Cine Rex, the Craft Center, the club Diaries and Punaré Bookstore. The research indicated the CEPI (Center for Studies and Interdisciplinary Research) and UFPI (Federal University of Piauí) as two institutions that have excelled in artistic education and in the cultural promotion of the city of Teresina. It also pointed out the Nós e Elis bar as one of the main cultural spaces in the city because of the importance of activities carried out there and the regulars who represented the synthesis of intellectual and artistic intelligentsia of Piauí.

Utveckling av en adapter till en öppen energiplattform

Målet med denna studie är att utveckla en adapterprototyp mot en öppen energiplattformoch dokumentera utvecklingsprocessen. Fokus ligger på att integreraPhilips Hue, ett system för styra trådlösa lampor mot plattformen Elis (Mobile servicesfor energy e ciency in existing buildings). Inom en begränsad tidsram så skavi sätta oss in i två främmande system till en sådan grad att vi kan skapa kommunikationenmellan dem. Inledningsvis krävs det att vi läser dokumentation och att vijobbar fram en arbetsplan. Vidare kommer vi lösa den adaption som krävs för attvärden mellan det två systemen överensstämmer och fungerar. Vi kommer användaoss av intervjuer för att få klarhet i hur plattformen är uppbyggd och grunden tillderas designval. Metoden design research används för att på ett iterativt sätt skapadelmål och successivt utveckla och utvärdera arbete. Målet med design research äratt skapa en artefakt, en adapterprototyp i vårt fall. Vi gjorde totalt fyra iterationerdär vi delade upp arbetet. Steg ett var att lära oss om plattformen, steg två lära ossPhilips Hue. Först i steg tre började vi utveckla vår adapterprototyp med kunskapenfrån det första iterationerna Slutligen intervjuade vi utvecklare i Elis och prata meddom om vad vi har kommit fram till och diskuterade fördelarna och nackdelarna vistött på vid utveckling mot deras plattform. Vi kommer med synpunkter och sakervi anser kan förbättras och hur adaptern bidrar till ett Elis ur ett software ecosystemperspektiv.. . . / The purpose of this essay is to develop an adapter prototype for an open energyplatform and document the development process. We focus on integrating PhilipsHue personal wireless lighting unto the platform Elis (Mobile services for energye ciency in existing buildings). Within the short timeframe of this study we intendto reach a level of understanding enough to make the systems communicate usingour adapter prototype. Initially we study documentation and prepares a work plan.Further more we try to solve the adaptation needed for the two system to communicate,this involves converting and matching up values. We will do some interviewswith the developers of Elis to get the big picture of how and why they designed theplatform they way it is. The research paradigm design research is a iterative methodologythat creates milestones, develop prototypes and evaluate the work. Thegoal of design research is to create an artifact, in our case an adapterprototype. Wemade a total of four iterations where the work was divided. Step one was to learnhow the platform works and step two was to study Philips Hue. At step three theimplementation of our prototype with the preparatory work from the rst iterationscould begin. The nal step was to interview members of Elis development team to nd out the impact of our work and to discuss the pros and cons of working withtheir platform. We present opinions and ndings of things we have found that canbe improved. We also de ne how our adapter bene ts Elis in a software ecosystemperspective.. . .
