CAN FD communication systems: modeling software and temporal analysis.

Andrade, Ricardo de 26 September 2014 (has links)
The CAN (Controller Area Network) is a standard in the communication bus, widespread in industrial applications, particularly in automotive systems. Currently, one of the main problems in the automotive industry is that this bus is with many messages on the bus, the result of incremental incorporation of electronic systems in automobiles, since there is a greater demand for connectivity due to the demands of society and the market. Alternatively, it has been developed a new communications network, known as CAN with Flexible Data-Rate (CAN-FD), which is a bus with transmission speeds higher and higher capacity data transport information. This project\'s main objective is to explore the features of the network CAN-FD, through simulations of the traffic of messages on a CAN network FD using data from a real CAN network, and verifying the predictability both in the context of a protocol that can meet the demand complex systems. The comparison is performed from a set of messages added to the network to verify the boundaries of each of the transmission networks and the respective delay times of the messages. As a second case study, a network of closed-loop control was developed, connected to a CAN bus and CAN bus FD. This control technique has eliminated the noises that interfere with the control and check the extent that the communication protocol can keep a control loop running. The results showed that it is possible to transmit a huge amount of data with the lowest usage busload (amount of transmitted messages) to the vehicle through the use of CAN bus FD, but not yet released to market a CAN controller FD to accomplish this task . Moreover, both protocols, CAN-FD and CAN has its predictability compromised because they are unable to send the message when the bus is more than 98.86% load.

Control and monitoring of a BTES-system

Fjordestam, Patrik, Hansen, Sebastian January 2016 (has links)
During the summer excess energy is produced from solar heaters, this is not taken care of, and usually goes to waste. The base of the project is built on that you should take the excess energy during the warmest months of the summer and save the energy in boreholes in the ground, then during the colder months the energy can be used. The purpose of the project was to build a prototype for the control and monitoring of a system. With this project we want to present a solution to a prototype which can be used as a development platform for the client. Communication between the actuators, sensors and the controller is made via a CAN-bus. The temperature sensors uses a One-wire buss and its values are stored and can be shown on a website. The results show that the monitoring and control functions works. Theoretically, the prototype is designed to be expanded to a real application.

Nicht-invasive Evaluation der chronischen Transplantatnephropathie mittels Acoustic Radiation Force Impulse (ARFI) - Elastographie

Hübner, Janina 09 May 2016 (has links) (PDF)

Studies in regiospecific oxidation reactions of 1-methyl-pentacyclo[5.4.0.02,6.03,10.05,9]undecane-8,11-dione.

Vappala, Indu 05 1900 (has links)
Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of 1-methylpentacyclo[5.4.0.02,6.03,10.05,9] undecane-8,11-dione, performed by using m-chloroperbenzoic acid in 1:1 molar ratio, resulted in the formation of monolactone. The corresponding dilactone, was synthesized by reacting 1-methyl-PCU-8,11-dione with m-chloroperbenzoic acid in 1:2 molar ratio. 6-Methyl-1,4,4a,8a-tetrahydro-1,4-methanonaphthalene-5,8-dione was converted into the corresponding exo-6,7-monoepoxide via treatment with 30% aqueous hydrogen peroxide. Epoxidation of this monoepoxide by using m-chloroperbenzoic acid afforded the corresponding bis-epoxide. Ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) promoted oxidation of 1-methyl-PCU-8,11-dione afforded "methylated lactones" and a "methylated alkene."

WBD – Web Based Diagnostics : Identifierande av parametrar på CAN-bussen

Albertson, Philip January 2007 (has links)
This abstract describes the bachelor degree thesis in computer technology at Växjö University written by Philip Albertson during the spring term of 2007. At the company BSR in Växjö, Sweden there is a new project under development called WBD – Web based diagnostics. The aim of the project is to make car diagnostics available to ordinary people at a decent cost. The system consists of three parts; a module to plug in the car, a server to handle the information and a client to allow the customers to reach the information about their car. My part in this project was to specify how to reach certain parameters on the CAN-bus in cars from VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group) and Saab. The company was satisfied with the results since they provided a good basis to further develop the module prototype built by the company EDAB (Elektronik Design AB) in Sundsvall, Sweden.</p>
