Discutimos a crise da produção de cacau, mais especificamente o caráter multidimensional das transformações ocorridas na região, decorrentes do processo de globalização. A partir desta análise, mostramos que o movimento de reestruturação produtiva no lugar se vincula ao desenvolvimento do modo capitalista de produção, o qual cria e recria mecanismos ideológicos de crenças na modernização que, afinal, garantem a sua própria reprodução. / Abstract: This paper aims to demonstrate how the socio-spatial formation of the Cocoa Region in the South of Bahia State is historically and geographically derivate from the corporative and selective use of the Brazilian territory. We discuss the crisis in cocoa production, more specifically the multidimensional aspect f the transformations occurred in the region due to the globalization process. Based on this analysis we demonstrate that the productive restructuration in the place is linked to the development of the capitalist way of production which creates and recreates ideological mechanisms of beliefs in the modernization that, eventually, guarantee its own reproduction. / Doutor

The dissertation thesis is aimed at actual topic of the international labour migration and working foreigners in the Czech Republic during the period of the global economical crisis of 2008 and 2012. It is an empirical research that comes out from the qualitative and quantitative study of the topic. The subject of the research were working foreigners. We differ foreigners in the position of employees and businessmen as well as foreigners from the European Economic Area and Switzerland and so called third countries. In the work we also focus on the statistical data both from their availability and interpretation point of view and also from the volume of flows of international labour migration and the stock of working foreigners in the Czech Republic. Selected indicators were also used to study spatial distribution of working foreigners in the Czech Republic including its factors from political, social, economic, geographic, demographic or cultural areas. The study was carried out by applying qualitative and quantitative correlation and regression analyses. In this respect we focused also on the discussion of the relevancy of statistical data from areas specified above that may help to clarify the structure of the spatial distribution of working foreigners. Previous issue date: 2008-02-14 / Macroeconomical variables that interfere in the economy and contagy that came of from worldwide crisis is the main theme which worries researchers of the financing area. Since 1980, that is the studied period of this research, the Stock Market brings huge amounts of profit in the shares of the companies of open capital, at the same time in that it scares the stock market holders, due to the volatile behaviour of its outcomes. The scope of this work is to identify if there is a relation between this behaviour of these macro economical variables and the obtained outcome by the national companies, which happens because of the behaviour of the macro economical crisis. Done the analysis of the Main Components, it is concluded that the macro economical variables have a fundamental importance in the action that determines the return index BOVESPA.(AU) / Variáveis macroecômicas que interferem na economia e contágio decorrente de crises mundiais é o tema que preocupa os estudiosos da área financeira. Desde 1980, que é o período deste estudo, a bolsa de valores traz volumosos lucros nas ações das companhias de capital aberto, ao mesmo tempo em que assusta os investidores, devido ao comportamento volátil de seus resultados. O escopo deste trabalho é o de identificar se existe uma relação entre o comportamento das variáveis macroeconômicas e o resultado obtido pelas empresas nacionais, ocasionada pelo comportamento das crises macroeconômicas. This thesis is focused on multi-criteria decision making. There were chosen new EU countries for the evaluation. Then there were found suitable criteria and set scales for them. The multi-criteria analysis was made with five methods and then there was defined the compromise order. The results were compared in 2007 - 2010 period, when all countries became members of the EU and there was impact of the economical crisis in these years.

Well-being and work conditions of hospital employees in Iceland and Sweden : A cross-cultural comparison of job-demands, job resources, self-efficacy and intention to quitSæmundsdóttir, Ragnheiður Helga January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this study was to examine and compare job demand and resource perception of hospital employees in Iceland and Sweden as well as their self-efficacy and intention to quit. These variables have high predictability for attitudes and behavior. Since the two countries were impacted differently by the global financial crisis of 2008, it is interesting to investigate whether these factors differ between them. A cross-sectional data was collected in public hospitals among specialized and unspecialized healthcare employees who responded to a self-administrated questionnaire. Quantitative methodology was used to analyze the differences between the groups. A MANOVA revealed no significant differences in resource perception, self-efficacy and intention to quit. However, unexpectedly, perception of job demands was significantly higher in Sweden. The literature behind this comparison sheds a light on how work conditions and employee well-being can be improved by managing resources and demands. It yields insight into how improvements can be wrought in such a complex system as healthcare in times of financial restrictions. On a practical level, this study emphasizes the importance of fair demands and good resources as a key to well-being because balanced levels of these factors enable employees to respond effectively to their work environment, be more satisfied, motivated, have high self-efficacy and be less likely to quit their jobs. Finally, areas were identified where future research is needed.

Παιδί και ελληνική οικονομική κρίση : ψυχοεκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα πρόληψηςΤαμάμη, Δέσποινα 07 May 2015 (has links)
Στην παρούσα έρευνα αναπτύχθηκε και εφαρμόστηκε ένα ψυχοεκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα για παιδιά δημοτικού. Ο στόχος ήταν η κατανόηση από μέρους των παιδιών των αλλαγών που έχουν συντελεστεί στο κοινωνικό και οικογενειακό περιβάλλον, λόγω της οικονομικής κρίσης και η ενδυνάμωσή τους για σωστή διαχείριση των παραπάνω αλλαγών.
Σχεδιάστηκε και υλοποιήθηκε ένα ψυχοεκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα έξι συναντήσεων βασισμένο στις αρχές της Θετικής ψυχολογίας και της Γνωσιακής – Συμπεριφοριστικής ψυχολογίας. Οι συμμετέχοντες διδάχτηκαν στρατηγικές και δεξιότητες διαχείρισης της οικονομικής κρίσης.
Από τη στατιστική ανάλυση των ποιοτικών και ποσοτικών στοιχείων των ερωτηματολογίων που συμπληρώθηκαν από τους συμμετέχοντες στο ψυχοεκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα εξήχθησαν τα παρακάτω συμπεράσματα:
Οι περισσότεροι από τους συμμετέχοντες έμαθαν τις έννοιες των βασικών όρων της οικονομικής κρίσης. Εξέφρασαν τα συναισθήματά τους και αντιλήφθηκαν τις σωματικές αντιδράσεις που τα συνοδεύουν. Επίσης, φάνηκε μια τάση ανάπτυξης των τριών αξόνων της Θετικής ψυχολογίας δηλαδή, της ικανοποίησης από τη ζωή, της ευτυχίας και της αισιοδοξίας τους. Τέλος, έδειξαν κατανόηση των στρατηγικών επίλυσης προβλημάτων. / In this survey was developed and implemented a psycho educational program for primary school children. The goal was the understanding, from the children, of changes that have occurred in the social and family environment due to the economic crisis and their empowerment for proper management of these changes.
A six meetings psycho educational program has been designed and implemented based on the principles of positive psychology and cognitive-behavioral psychology. Participants were taught strategies and economic crisis management skills.
From the statistical analysis of qualitative and quantitative data of the questionnaires that were completed by the participants, the following conclusions were reached:
Most of the participants learned the concepts of key terms of the economic crisis. They expressed their feelings and perceived physical reactions that accompany them. Moreover a development trend of the three pillars of positive psychology was demonstrated, that is, life satisfaction, happiness and optimism. Finally, they showed understanding of problem solving strategies.
