Para se entender a biomecânica e implementar avanços nos parâmetros geométricoconstrutivos do elevador angulado de Seldin, foi construído o Novo Dispositivo de Ensaio de Elevadores Dentais (NDEED). Como em um dispositivo de mensuração, foi necessário calibrar-se todo o aparato para garantir que os dados obtidos fossem confiáveis. Para tanto, foram realizados testes estatísticos em relação ao deslocamento angular, torque e deslocamento vertical (LVDT). Para o torque, confrontado com as leituras obtidas, realizou-se o cálculo do índice de correlação linear de Pearson, o qual apresentou valor de 0,99958, indicando alta relação entre os parâmetros avaliados. Em relação ao deslocamento angular e ao deslocamento vertical, o índice de correlação linear de Pearson foi de -0,99995 e 0,99973, respectivamente, indicando alta relação entre as medidas para cada variável. O intervalo de confiança apresentou um erro máximo de ± 0,065 para o torque, ± 1,4 para o deslocamento angular e ± 0,71 para o deslocamento vertical. Com base nos resultados estatísticos, pode-se afirmar que a correlação entre as leituras dos aparelhos e os valores das medidas são extremamente confiáveis, indicando uma ótima relação entre a leitura e a medida. Também foi observado que os intervalos de predição foram pequenos, indicando que o NDEED afere com precisão as medidas em análise. Assim, pode afirmar-se que o Novo Dispositivo de Ensaio de Elevadores Dentais é uma excelente maneira de se aferir as variáveis em estudo. / In order to understand and optimize the construction of dental elevators, searching for adequate standards, a fully automatic new Elevator Essaying Device has been produced. As in every measurement device, it was a need to calibrate all the apparatus to guarantee that the data obtained was reliable. For this purpose, statistical analysis were used in order to evaluate the angular displacement, torque and vertical displacement. As for the torque, the Pearson\'s linear correlation index was used, with an obtained value of 0,99958, indicating a high relationship between the evaluated parameters. For the angular displacement and the vertical displacement, the value of the Pearson\'s linear correlation coefficient was -0,99995 and 0,99973, respectively. The confidence interval showed a maximum error of ± 0,065 for the torque, ±1,4 for the angular displacement and ± 0,71 for the vertical displacement. Based on the obtained statistical data, it is possible to affirm that the correlation between the readings and the measure values are extremely trustworthy. Also, it was observed that the prediction intervals indicated that the new Elevator Essaying device is able to measure the referred variables.

This thesis is about the act of inhabiting the post-industrial landscape: about how a city with the remains of and scars from a previous era can begin to repurpose those remnants--both in a physical, as well as intangible sense. Proposing an alternative to the patterns of development that created such a landscape, it offers resistance to the entrenched values of privatization, commodification, and consumption. The chosen site--an abandoned grain elevator in Buffalo, New York--sits at a nexus of converging landscapes: the grid of downtown to the north, a former industrial canal to the east, a stretch of barren waterfront land to the south, and the expansive Lake Erie to the west. This site, existing at the mouth of the now contaminated Buffalo River, possesses both beauty and sublimity in its deterioration; as such, it is uniquely situated to become a charged point of entry to the desolate waterfront beyond, as well as a bridge--literally and figuratively--between the city, its heritage, and its legacy. Drawing on such precedents as the library and the enlightenment-era salon as traditional places of scholarship and colloquy, the project is also influenced by the archetypes of the tavern and the union hall as more informal, although no less vital, places of cultural exchange. It is the aim of this thesis to bring the residents of Buffalo together in a public platform that would impress and bring into focus the processes that created the current conditions, allow for the meaningful re-inhabitation of this landscape, as well as foster a sense of community, dialogue, exchange, learning, and inquiry, with the desired outcome of participatory change.

Abstract In every prosperous city of the world , we could see the elevators in the huge buildings and great mansions , the escalators in the department stores and the passenger conveyers in the shopping mall or in the airport. People were dependent on the products of the elevator properties in deep. In this research , we used the analysis of the Delphi to inquire into the elevator property to find out the factors that made this property to be successful. The most important characterists are¡Gthe Global Logistics Management, the Creative Technlogical Management and Selling to the Top. The distinguishing features of the products of the elevator¡¦s property were such as¡G 1. In TAIWAN, the top 8 of the elevator¡¦s factory owners manufactured the elevators and also the related products together with the Global Logistics Management. 2. They paid more attentions to the studying ability and the tempo of the Creative Technlogical Management in order to change with each passing day and to keep improving. 3. The expenses of every project were enormous and the competed tactics were nimble. 4. Except for the top director , no one could make the decision. 5. It was not easy to handle the extensively selling market. 6. The educational background and the professional career of every regional director of the competed factory were all superior. In this study, I sincerely hope that I could do whatever is best for the elevator¡¦s property.

Energijos sąnaudų mažinimas tampa vis aktualesne problema, kuri turi būti sprendžiama visose energetikos srityse. Efektyviai naudojamas įrenginys turi ne tik kokybiškai atlikti savo funkcijas, bet tai padaryti su kuo mažesnėmis išlaidomis. Šiuo metu Lietuvoje naudojama daugiau nei 5 tūkstančiai keleivinių liftų, dauguma iš jų pradėti eksploatuoti daugiau kaip prieš 25 metus ir jau gerokai viršija gamintojo rekomenduojamą amžių. Šio darbo tikslas – išanalizuoti Šiaulių miesto keleivinių liftų sistemos darbą, įvertinti nuostolius dėl nepakankamo įrenginių išnaudojimo, bei nustatyti jų atsiradimo priežastis ir šiuolaikinio patikimumo įrenginių pritaikymo galimybes. Statistinių duomenų apie liftų gedimus analizė buvo atliekama panaudojant programinį paketą STATISTICA. Keleivinių liftų gedimų atstatymo trukmės pasiskirstę pagal logaritminį – normalinį, o trukmės tarp gedimų – eksponentinį skirstinius. Tokie skirstiniai būdingi normalios eksploatacijos laikotarpiu, tačiau maža negedimo tikimybė (0,28), trumpas laikas tarp gedimų (1030 val.) ir didelis gedimų dažnis rodo, kad artėja trečiasis darbo periodas – senėjimo ir dilimo prosesas. Įvertinus dispečerizacijos įtaką paaiškėjo, kad šis būdas pagerina pataisomumo rodiklius, tačiau reikalinga išsamesnė pagrindinių mazgų nuotolinė kontrolė. Buvo įvertintos liftų aptarnavimo išlaidos. Mechanisms effectively are not using qualitatively and correspond at the functions, but they have to do it in less expense. Today in Lithuania is using more than 5 thousand passengers’ lifts, they were begin to use before 25 years and now they are exceed producer in recommended time. This work purpose is to analyze Šiauliai city elevators’ system work, to evaluate damage for mechanisms’ using and to find out originate reasons and security mechanisms using choice for the following days. The statistics information about elevators’ breakdown analysis was done by the program packet STATISTICS. The elevators’ breakdown origin duration was repartitioned by log - normal and the term between breakdowns by exponential. They are normal in exploitation time, but chance of none breakdowns (0,28), the short time thought breakdowns (1030 hours) and a lot number of breakdowns show that the third period comes with obsolescence and wane processes. The dispatching influence was evaluated and developed that this manner makes better indexes but the basics node control is needed. Elevators’ using expenses were valuated. While harvesting potatoes by SE 75-40 combines, made by “Grimme”, potato amount of soil in potatoes, amount of potatoes injured by combine working parts, distribution of potatoes mechanical injuries in combine elevator length and in other working parts, the causes of injuries were established. Efficiency of electronic potato, as prevention from injuries means, was examined. “Grimme SE 75-40” has elevator on which end earthy is 82 percent. The are about 8 percent potatoes rams than 5 mm and about 4 percent light breach, smaller than 5 mm on elevator’s length. Electronic potato is a great help and you don’t have to cut knobs. The use of it should be broaden in farms which are growing great amount of potatoes.

Master of Agribusiness / Department of Agricultural Economics / Michael R. Langemeier / With increased focus on food safety and protection, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has examined the possibility of removing the exemption for elevators pertaining to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The objective of this thesis was to determine the extent to which Kansas Elevators have adopted GMPs. To accomplish the objective of this thesis, information from an online survey completed by 42 elevators was summarized and analyzed. The information that was collected focused on the general classification of the elevators, grain safety programs, pest control programs and procedures, operational methods and personal practices, and maintenance of the facilities and equipment. Correlation coefficients were computed to determine if there were any significant correlations between elevator characteristics and GMPs. The study found that many of the elevators surveyed do not comply with the GMP requirements, and would require more resources in order to do so. Little connection was made between classification information such as size, location, or number of employees and GMP implementation. The significant correlations found were between HACCP and Pest Management, and HACCP and Traceability. The main limitation of this thesis was the small number of survey participants.

This master`s thesis deals with the project of prison block. It confers about slab-on-ground four-floor object, which is projected from ceramic blocks Porotherm. The roof is flat single-layered. The capacity of this prison block is 192 prisoners. The main entrance is oriented to the south and service entrance to the north. Prison cells are oriented to the east and to the west. The work contains drawings and technical descriptions and it is composed as an implementing project.
