291	IoT systém pro domácnost / IoT Home System Kovařík, Viktor January 2020 (has links) The aim of this thesis was to learn and summarize basic information about IoT systems, which protocols are used and introduction of Google Home system. The first part of the thesis describes the individual parts of the system --- microcontrollers, sensors, light elements and possible systems for backend. In the implementation part of the thesis was designed a solution for smart home controling using Google Home technology. Based on data from the weather station, the system controls and adjusts the intensity of outdoor lighting and controls the blinds. Furthermore, a control module for gate and garage door control is implemented. The system also takes care of vacuum cleaning in the house using iRobot Roomba vacuum cleaners with custom Wi-Fi module. The final part of the thesis summarizes the achieved results.
292	Association of College and Career Readiness Indicators on Hispanic College Enrollment and Postsecondary Resiliency Parker, Patricia 05 1900 (has links) This investigation was a post-hoc, quantitative analysis of secondary academic performance and participation choices of Hispanic students. Three years of longitudinal student-level data was collected to examine the likelihood of college enrollment based on college and career readiness (CCR) factors. At the time of the study, CCR was defined as qualifying exam scores, credit for at least two advanced/dual enrollment courses, or enrollment in a career and technology education (CTE) coherent sequence of courses. Research participants (N = 803) consisted solely of Hispanic high school graduates from the 2014 cohort. Frequency statistics indicate 45.5% (n = 365) attended an institute of higher education (IHE) within 2 years of high school graduation. Findings reveal Hispanic females were more likely than Hispanic males to meet CCR indicators as well as postsecondary resiliency outcomes. Analysis of chi-square tests of independence suggests a moderately strong association exists between CCR indicators and postsecondary participation among high school graduates. Differences were found in terms of gender and postsecondary enrollment, x^2(6) = 24.538, p < .001. Differences were also found in terms of type of IHE and postsecondary resiliency, x^2(3) = 34.373, p < .001. More Hispanic CCR graduates enrolled at 2-year and 4-year IHE than expected by chance. While non-CCR graduates enrolled in IHE, they were less likely to meet postsecondary resiliency outcomes. CCR graduates who initially enrolled at 2-year IHE were also less likely to persist. 293	Strategie vstupu firmy na zahraniční trh / Strategy of Entrance of Company on Foreign Market Gebauerová, Jaroslava January 2009 (has links) This thesis deals with strategies for firms entering the foreign market. In the theoretical part of the work the various strategies and their pros and cons are discussed, together with the dynamics of entering a new market. The analytical part of the work comprises an analysis of the Austrian market and an internal analysis of the company AQUAL Ltd. selected for the practical application. Its SWOT analysis and description of its entrance to a foreign market according to the SMART method are performed. Proposals are given the gradual development of the strategy of entrance, including the reasons for choosing a mixed strategy, and aspects of the operation and management of the company abroad are described; important is the definition of activities of the manager for Austria. Finally, conclusions are given summarizing the prerequisites and expected benefits of the entrance, the goals fulfilled and the contributions provided in this work.

The object includes 36 one room flats and 2 three room flats. There are proposed another equipments which are related to nursing services such as two surgeries, rehabilitation, massage salon, coffee bar and hairdressing salon in the building. The hole building was designed as accesible. The object is two storied, cellarless and its grand plan is indented. It is staffed on plane plot in a quiet area of apartment blocks. There are going to be build new road, parking places and surfaces outside. The roof is designed as flat single casing or double casing. The main structure system is designed as walls of ceramic blocks and ceiling of reinforced concrete. All of the flats are situated on the southern side and the entrances are situated on the northern side.

It is a cellarless, two-storey building for 40 childern. The floor plan is „L“ shaped with orientation of the classes to the south and west which provide enough rate (amount) of insolation which support good mood and development of the childern. The object is situated in medium sloping land mainly in the area of familly and residential houses. The main entrance to the building is situated on the south from where si access road to the object too. Comfort parking is provided by ten parking places, one is determined for disabled people. The lighting and ventilation of all rooms is provided by windows. Roofing is solved using of wooden truss in combination with single casing roof.

It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the process of adaptation pupil to the school environment, it explains the concept of socialization, analyzing school maturity, the readiness and the terms of school education. The practical part is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. The method of questionnaire, interview and observation provides the identified data to deal with the issue of adaptation pupil at the 1st class primary school in the social field and analyzes the attitude of parents and first class teachers to the adaptation pupils to the school environment in the social sphere. The aim of the diploma thesis is analyzing the opinion to that issue by parents and first class primary school teachers.
297	Well-Being and Academic Success in Gifted College Students: Early-College Entrants and Honors College Students Boazman, Janette Kay 08 1900 (has links) As a society, we seek to have our young people, including the gifted, be healthy and happy, and go to good schools with good teachers. Framed by Sayler's theoretical model of giftedness and thriving, this study examined psychological constructs (i.e. general self-efficacy, theories of intelligence, hope, gratitude, religiosity, disposition, and resiliency) to determine their mediating effect on personal well-being and academic success in gifted college students. The 213 subjects for this study included gifted college students from two distinct programs at the University of North Texas. One hundred twenty-two participants were students from the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science (TAMS). TAMS is an early-college entrance program allowing gifted students to enter college after their sophomore year of high school. Ninety-one participants attended the UNT Honors College. Honors College students are gifted students who enter college after high school graduation. Latent transition, latent class, general linear model repeated measures, and regression analyses were used in the examination of the data. Results of the study revealed that positive disposition and hope-agency were significantly related to the development of personal well-being for gifted students during their first year of college. The ability to identify pathways to goals and the self-theory of intelligence as a fixed trait were significantly related to academic success during the first year at college. Knowledge of psychological constructs that are facilitative of the positive personal well-being and academic achievement helps parents, teachers, administrators, and counselors prepare gifted students for success in college. personal well-being early-college entrance Gifted

299	Zatížení pacientek při mamografických vyšetřeních / Evaluation of patient dose in mammography Polášková, Markéta January 2008 (has links) Breast cancer presents serious epidemiological problem, in result of which die more than 2 000 czech women every year. Screening mammography is one of the most expanded and most effective examinations for early detection of this desease but one has to take into account an inconsiderable risk connected with the procedure based on X-ray ionizing radiation. This diploma thesis deals with evaluation of the dose absorbed by the tissue. It contains the description of evaluation of the average dose in glandular tissue on PMMA phantom, as well as results of the measurements on conventional and digital mammograph. A data file with exposure parameters from mammography screening is included and interpreted. Also the Monte Carlo method was used for the dose evaluation, the thesis contains the brief description of the method, concept of analysis model in mammography and results of simulations.
300	Koncertní sál v Brně / Concert-Hall Brno Špondrová, Hana January 2012 (has links) This study addresses the design of a new cultural center in the Moravian Square – a polyfunctional object with a great concert hall, a small multifunctional hall with operating and technical facilities, parking, customer services for visitors, and areas for employees and musicians. Also, a restaurant & cafe is a part of this proposed project. New space replaces the unsatisfactory conditions of the current residence of Brno Filharmony in Besední dům – too small, unsatisfactory acoustics, and complicated operation. The cultural center, also, serves as a congress center that is currently missing in Brno - a city of trade fairs and exhibitions. The proposition respects the existing character of the park. The capacity of the new proposed design is from three-quarters underground, and therefore makes a way (nebo „space“) for greenery and pedestrians. The designed object consists of one ground and two underground levels. It has a simple shape with a greenery roof, and is incorporated into the existing spaces of the square. The distinctive element of the design is an open outside atrium in the first underground level. The facase is covered with boards (nebo „panels“) made out of Corian® material in a white shade of Glacier White in contrast to glass windows. The supporting construction is designed from monolithic iron concrete.
