Thesis (Ph. D.)--Boston University / Both the problan and methodology of the dissertation follow this pattern: (1) a presentation of Ferre's views regarding redemption, (2) comparisons with the other three selected theologians, (3) an ordered summary of Ferre's relative theological position. This summary appears in chapter eight and briefly notes some similarities and dissimilarities among the other three theologians. Chapter two presents the term redemption and its correlatives as used in standard Protestant reference works. This determines the areas treated in chapters three through seven. The study includes these conclusions: (1) Knowledge of God as agape is limited to God's revelatory work made known in Jesus Christ in Ferre's, as in Aulen's and Brunner's writings. DeWolf adds theistic evidences. (2) God as being is uncaused and unconditioned but He becomes by creation and by redemptive personal relations with men for Ferre as for DeWolf. God is being is self-sufficient, with creation, preservation and redemption optional self-giving activities in Aulen's and Brunner's writings. For Aulen this is a paradox. Brunner concludes that God acts to realize His glory. (3) An essential but unfulfilled image within man awaits maturing experiences and Divine-human encounter in Ferre's and DeWolf's writings. Brunner emphasizes God's sole initiative so that maturing experiences seem to be negated. Aulen paradoxically asserts that man is essentially opposed to God yet chooses opposition. Paradoxically reconciliation depends upon God's subduing activity, yet upon man's "yes." (4) Jesus Christ is understood as truly God and truly man by Ferre as by Aulen and Brunner. The latter two do not, like Ferre, explain the Incarnation by perichoresis. DeWolf asserts that God's will and purpose were perfectly Incarnate in the human Jesus. Ferre has a distinct emphasis concerning the repeatability of the Incarnation, and concerning the Trinity. (5) At-one-ment in Ferre's distinct view is based upon perichoresis. All four theologians conclude that at-one-ment is offered to all men in Jesus Christ. Aulen's distinct view emphasizes fusion of wrath and love within God. (6) Personal depth repentance results in a reconciled relationship with God and fellowmen in Ferre's writings as in those of the other three theologians. The image within leads to such repentance for Ferre as for DeWolf. Paradoxically, for Aulen man's "yes" is indispensable yet all depends upon God's subduing activity. Brunner sees all human seeking as egocentric and doomed to frustration. Thus, Divine-human encounter, solely initiated by God, alone, leads to repentance and reconciliation. (7) Saints are nurtured by prayer, worship and witnessing. They are not free from sin but can partially demonstrate victorious love and power over sin in Ferre's writings as in the writings of the other men. A base te?rica ? composta por autores como Henry Jenkins (1992;2006;2009;2015), Matt Hills (2002), Clay Shirky (2011), Paul Booth (2010), Mark Duffett (2013), dentre outros que procuram compreender a participa??o como o fator fundamental da cultura de f?s. / The technological and communicational expansion provided the emergence of new practices of preview and appropriation of information, affecting the visibility and the practices of the fans communities, which stabilish from an active participation of members that integrate them. This paper seeks to insert in the culture participatory context in order of better understand the fans culture phenomenon and contribute to the studies that are related to it. Therefore, I use Batman vs Superman ? Down of Justice film to demonstrate how the fans organize themselves and which are their practices in a virtual community. The used method is the netnography with the observation of online practices and the elaboration of quizzes for the community members. The theoretical basis is composed of authors like Henry Jenkins (1992; 2006; 2009; 2015), Matt Hills (2002), Clay Shirky (2011), Paul Booth (2010), Mark Duffett (2013), and others that try to understand the participation as the key factor of the fans culture.

Recent developments around the sharing economy bring to the fore questions of governability and broader societal Benefit-and subsequently the need to explore effective means of public governance, from nurturing, on the one hand, to restriction, on the other. As sharing is a predominately urban phenomenon in modern societies, cities around the globe have become both locus of action and central actor in the debates over the nature and organization of the sharing economy. However, cities vary substantially in the interpretation of potential opportunities and challenges, as well as in their governance responses. Building on a qualitative comparative analysis of 16 leading global cities, our findings reveal four framings of the sharing economy: "societal endangerment","societal enhancement", "market disruption", and "ecological Transition". Such framings go hand in hand with patterned governance responses: although there is considerable heterogeneity in the combination of public governance strategies, we find specific configurations of framings and public governance strategies. Our work reflects the political and ethical debates on various economic, social, and moral issues related to the sharing economy, and contrib-utes to a better understanding of the field-level institutional Arrangements-a prerequisite for examining moral behavior of sharing economy organizations.

As hist?rias se espalham por diferentes espa?os virtuais de intera??o, o que aponta para a ideia de obras em andamento de Busse e Hellekson (2006) sobre as fanfics. Al?m disso, percebemos que n?o s?o apenas as narrativas que se expandem nesses espa?os, mas o contato das leitoras tamb?m f?s do jogador com as competi??es esportivas ?s quais os enredos se referem, citadas como produtos transm?dias (COSTA, 2015). Desse modo, atrav?s da an?lise do conte?do (BARDIN, 1977; BAUER, 2012) das narrativas e das entrevistas aplicadas, constatamos que n?o foi unicamente o interesse de f? pelo jogador que motivou a escrita das fics, mas pelo pr?prio mundo do futebol, pelas fanfictions em si e pelos espa?os de intera??o com as leitoras. As fanfics estudadas s?o entendidas como media??es entre fic??o e realidade e nos levam a abordar a ideia de narrativas pessoais midiatizadas (ESCOSTEGUY, 2011) e a problematizar por meio delas a considera??o de Silverstone (1999) sobre a onipresen?a da m?dia nas nossas vidas cotidianas. Assim, discutimos as rela??es entre fanfic, cultura de f?s, m?dia e narrativas. / In this work, we question the narrative construction of the life of a real person featured in the media in fiction, mediated from transm?dias products. We do a qualitative analysis of two fanfictions of the brazilian soccer player David Luiz, as well as the interviews applied to the authors responsible for those stories. Also called fanfic or simply fic are fictions linked to expansions of narrative universes created by fans involved in media convergence contexts (Jenkins, 2009; 2012). Published in full in the site Social Spirit, Di?rio de uma Iniciante em Copa do Mundo and its sequel, Di?rio de uma Iniciante em Champions League, build a fictional account of a journalist, Fernanda Moraes, who, because of her work of coverage the World Cup in 2014, she gets involve lovingly with David Luiz, it played in the competition. The stories spread through different virtual spaces of interaction, which points to the idea of work in progress of Busse and Hellekson (2006) about fanfics. Also, we realize that not only are the stories that expand, but the contact of the readers and player?s fans with the sports competitions to which the plots refer cited as transmedia products (COSTA, 2015). We found that it was not only the interest of fan by the player who led the writing of the fic, but by the very world of soccer, the fanfiction itself and the spaces of interaction with readers. The fanfics studied are understood as mediations between fiction and reality and lead us to approach the idea of mediatized personal narratives (ESCOSTEGUY, 2011) and problematize through them the consideration of Silverstone (1999) on media omnipresence in our everyday lives. Thus, we discuss the relationship between fanfic, culture fans, media and narratives.

Caracterizados por uma peridiocidade fixa, e exibi??es semanais regulares, os seriados se transformam quando passam a ser produzidos por empresas que oferecem conte?do audiovisual sob demanda, que disponibilizam todos os epis?dios simultaneamente. Esta pesquisa investiga como f?s de seriados assistem e utilizam esses programas, dentro de um contexto participativo, e como interpretam este novo ritual de assist?ncia televisiva / North American television series are an audiovisual product of global circulation, consumed by audiences around the world. Characterized by a fixed schedule, and regular weekly exhibitions, the series mutate when made by companies that provide video content on demand, delivering all the episodes simultaneously. This research explores how fans watch and interpret these shows in a participatory context, taking into account this new TV-watching ritual. The analyzed series are made by traditional television channels (Masters of Sex, Orphan Black e True Detective) and by the video-streaming service Netflix (House of Cards, Marvel's Daredevil e Orange is the New Black). The individuals studied, framed as members of TV series culture (SILVA, 2014a), are members of Clube dos Seriadores An?nimos do RN, a group that gathers TV series aficionados. For research purposes, the group will be considered an interpretive community (FISH, 1976), and will be evaluated under the theories of Jenkins (1992/2013, 2006, 2009) and Hills (2002). New television narrative forms and its relationships with the audience and producers were observed according to the concepts of complex television (MITTELL, 2015) and hypertelevision (SCOLARI, 2009). Our proposed methodology drew from ethnographic approaches to map the practices carried out by the individuals and interpret its relations with TV series, which involved conducting interviews with three group members, and observation of the comments posted on the Clube dos Seriadores An?nimos do RN Facebook page. Using content analysis, the study proposes the classification of these comments as participative spheres: affective, evaluative, informative, speculative and ludic. Lastly, the fans media consumption was characterized using concepts proposed by Lipovetsky (2007) Rushkoff (2012).

Cette thèse étudie quelques aspects de l'effet de proximité entre un supraconducteur (S) et un métal ferromagnétique (F). Dans un métal normal confiné entre deux électrodes supraconductrices, il se forme des états liés qui permettent le passage cohérent de paires d'électrons (de spins opposés). Le supercourant transporté par ces états dépend de la différence de phase $\phi$ entre les deux supraconducteurs. Dans le cas d'une jonction S/F/S, l'énergie d'échange ferromagnétique modifie le spectre des états liés et peut inverser la direction du supercourant (par rapport au cas S/N/S). En l'absence de courant, l'état fondamental a alors une différence de phase $\phi=\pi$ (au lieu de $\phi=0$) et l'on parle de {\it jonction $\pi$}. La transition 0-$\pi$ peut s'observer en fonction de l'épaisseur ferromagnétique, mais également en fonction de la température si l'énergie d'échange n'est pas beaucoup plus grande que le gap supraconducteur. Cette transition se caractérise par une dépendance non-monotone du courant critique avec la température, comportement que nous avons observé dans des jonctions Nb/Cu$_{52}$Ni$_{48}$/Nb. Dans ces jonctions la couche de cuivre-nickel est très faiblement ferromagnétique, voire super-paramagnétique. Le courant critique s'annule en fonction de la température à une valeur $T^*$ (inférieure à $T_c$): en-dessous de $T^*$ la jonction est dans l'état~$\pi$, au-dessus de $T^*$ elle est dans l'état~0. L'annulation est indépendante du champ magnétique qui produit une figure de diffraction toujours centrée en champ nul. L'effet Josephson alternatif étudié de part et d'autre de la transition 0-$\pi$ ne montre pas de différence entre les deux états. L'évolution du courant critique avec l'épaisseur ferromagnétique et la température peut être modélisée à partir des équations d'Usadel. Cette analyse suggère la présence d'un processus de diffusion spin-flip qui réduit fortement l'amplitude du courant critique. Les bicouches S/F présentent également des états liés dont le spectre est fonction de l'énergie d'échange et de l'épaisseur ferromagnétique. La température de transition supraconductrice présente des oscillations en fonction de ces deux paramètres, car elle est sensible à la position de ces états via l'effet de proximité inverse. Nous avons pu mesurer une faible signature de cet effet dans des bicouches Nb/CuNi. Dans les tricouches F$_1$/S/F$_2$, de type vanne de spin, la température de transition doit en théorie dépendre de l'orientation relative des aimantations ferromagnétiques. Cependant nous n'avons mesuré aucune différence dans des multicouches NiO/Co/Nb/Co, puis NiO/CuNi/Nb/CuNi, car l'épaisseur de niobium en-dessous de laquelle la supraconductivité disparaît reste plusieurs fois supérieure à la longueur de cohérence. Cette saturation de l'épaisseur critique est attribuée à un fort processus de diffusion spin-flip dans cet alliage très dilué.
