It s a case study that involved data collect in a part of the rural dwellers of the town, which has as its main goal is to identify the recent aspects of the agriculture and non-agriculture occupations of the dwellers. The methodology applied is based on concepts present in national bibliographies and focused on social spatial formation category, emphasizing occupation aspects, productive farming specialization as well as population migration and micro region urbanization of São Miguel do Oeste, State of Santa Catarina. / Nesta pesquisa, estudamos a pluriatividade no município de Princesa/SC, abordando principalmente o aspecto econômico das famílias rurais. Trata-se de um estudo de caso que envolveu a coleta direta de dados em uma parcela da população residente na área rural do município, cujo principal objetivo consistiu em identificar aspectos recentes das ocupações agrícolas e não agrícolas das famílias residentes. A metodologia utilizada considera conceitos presentes em bibliografias nacionais e orienta-se na categoria de formação sócio espacial, enfatizando aspectos de ocupação, especialização produtiva agropecuária e êxodo populacional e urbanização da mesorregião oeste e microrregião de São Miguel do Oeste do estado de Santa Catarina.

The purpose of this study is to assist wire companies to identify buying behaviour amongst consumers of their products. For the purpose of this study the product will be wire products and the specific target market will be farmers in the Eastern Free State. The primary objective of the study is to identify factors that play a role in the buying behaviour of farmers in the Eastern Free State when purchasing wire products. By knowing exactly the buying criteria of wire products amongst farmers and seasonable cycles of purchasing will form the basis of strategic marketing planning. This study was conducted in two phases. Phase one consisted of a literature review and phase two of an empirical research. The empirical research consisted of a quantitative research design; more specifically, descriptive research that employed cross–sectional analysis of the quantitative data collected from a sample by means of a structured questionnaire. The results show that 76% of the respondents are older than 41 years of age. The population for this study is, therefore, a more matured one. Regarding their buying behaviour, the purchase frequency shows that the majority purchase wire products on a monthly basis and 40% on an annual basis. Most of them (78%) purchase their wire products from the co–operative. Wire products are an integral part of farming activities and in general the respondents are very positive about the industry. Most important considerations identified are that the wire industry should keep in touch with its market, never be out of orders, keep up the fast service that is currently provided, and that reputable products should be kept in stock. / Thesis (M.B.A.)--North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2012.

It's analyzed the important urban nucleus at the Comarca Rio das Mortes and the elevation of the Campanha da Princesa vill which owns the espace that was formed by many reasons in the south Minas region, since the population that was born in the mineral deposit areas found as also nucleus that were stablished in exchange spots, commerce and farming activities focused on internal and external supply. It is investigated also the evolution of these nucleus and the conflicts that happened in their terms until the materialization of this territory. All of the study seeks to relate these transformations to what was happening in the economy of the colony and the metropole emphasizing the importance of the south Minas urban nucleus, until it comes to the rural patrimony that exist until theses days as inheritance of this mixed economy, aiming to understand that the history of Minas Gerais, goes beyond the gold and mining. The study has as its objective to show that Minas is a complex mixture of different activities and factors that contributed for its formation. / Este trabalho busca tra?ar uma an?lise da forma??o do territ?rio no sul de Minas Gerais, investigando a forma??o dos primeiros caminhos, partindo de diversas localidades da col?nia e desbravando os sert?es em busca de ouro e ?ndios para escravid?o. Analisamos a importante rede de n?cleos urbanos na Comarca do Rio das Mortes e a eleva??o da Vila de Campanha da Princesa, detentora do espa?o que se formou por diversos motivos na regi?o do sul de Minas, desde as povoa??es que nasceram pelas jazidas encontradas at? os n?cleos que se estabeleceram em pontos de troca, com?rcio e das atividades agropastoris voltadas para o abastecimento interno e externo. Investigamos tamb?m a evolu??o desses n?cleos e os conflitos que ocorreram em seus termos, at? chegar ? materializa??o deste territ?rio. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / The modernization of rural activities in family farm units consists of a recent reality in territorial configuration of Brazilian countryside and, especially, of productive sectors in Northeast’s Sertão. This process has been propelled along the last decades due to formulation and expansion of public policies oriented to the development of family farming. The reorganization of productive sectors in countryside areas is also due to the expansion of non-farming service provider activities discharged by family farmers and/or liberal workers. The complexity of the rural world is even more meaningful as we observe an interaction, in the same space, of social and productive innovations and economic, social and traditional cultural practices that reinforce the countryside social groups’ territorial identity, despite the ongoing transformations. Assuming as a base the empirical configuration of Porto da Folha/SE municipality, this study aims to analyze the reconfiguration of the rural space from the advancement of new ruralities and the resistance of traditional ruralities. The methodology applied has a qualitative approach and is founded on bibliographic research, data collection, data systematization, information, and field research using exploratory research techniques, field diary, application of interviews and iconographic recordings. The results of this research point to a reconfiguration of rural territories based on modernization of productive sectors maintained by family farmers, the advancement of non-farming activities and basic services (education, health and leisure), until then restricted to urban centers, as well as the strengthening of identities founded in the territory that contributes to a cultural legitimacy of the social groups. Therefore, the analysis about rural space dynamics must not be restricted to economic and productive relations, but also to social organization and the cultural representations of the subjects who live in countryside. / A modernização das atividades agrícolas nas unidades de produção familiar consiste uma realidade recente na configuração territorial do rural brasileiro e, sobretudo, de setores produtivos do Sertão nordestino. Esse processo foi impulsionado nas últimas décadas devido à formulação e ampliação de políticas públicas voltadas para o desenvolvimento da agricultura familiar. A reorganização dos setores produtivos no campo deve-se ainda à ampliação de atividades não agrícolas prestadoras de serviços desempenhadas por agricultores e/ou trabalhadores liberais. A complexidade do mundo rural torna-se mais significativa quando se observa a convivência num mesmo espaço de inovações socioprodutivas e práticas econômicas, sociais e culturais tradicionais que reforçam a identidade territorial dos grupos sociais do campo, apesar das transformações em curso. Tomando como base o recorte empírico do município de Porto da Folha/SE, este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a reconfiguração do espaço rural, a partir do avanço de novas ruralidades e da resistência de ruralidades tradicionais. A metodologia aplicada apresenta perfil qualitativo e está fundamentada em pesquisas bibliográficas, levantamento documental, sistematização de dados e informações e pesquisas de campo a partir do uso das técnicas de investigação exploratória, diário de campo, aplicação de entrevistas e registros iconográficos. Os resultados da pesquisa apontam para a reconfiguração dos territórios rurais com base na modernização de segmentos e setores produtivos mantidos por agricultores familiares, o avanço de atividades não agrícolas e serviços básicos (educação, saúde e lazer), até recentemente restritos aos centros urbanos, bem como o fortalecimento de identidades alicerçadas no território que contribuem para a legitimidade cultural dos grupos sociais. Logo, as análises acerca da dinâmica do espaço rural não devem se restringir as relações econômico-produtivistas, mas também a organização social e as representações culturais dos sujeitos que vivem no campo.
