This work seeks to analyze the new consumption spaces in the central area of Anápolis, in the state of Goiás starting from the informal trade, once there is an interaction among the several spaces produced in the urban way, so contributing, for an interpretation of the existent practices in the city. In this perspective, we discussed the use and appropriation of some streets in the center by the street-fakers and travelings besides the street-fakers place and a popular shoppings that for its time markets products that are acquired by the people that circulate in those spaces, being taken in consideration the consumption that creates and (re)creates a reality that shimmers the forms and functions of the and in the city as the show of the capital (re)production and as articulated elements to the process of (re)production of the urban space in medium load cities. We started of the idea that the main and traditional center redefine its uses, taking as base the location strategies of the said informal activities in this interior, reaffirming the centrality expressed in the context of the preexistents relationships, because the singularities of the functions involve an evaluation of the new commercialization ways of the tertiary sector. We accomplished an analysis developed by means of the rising and bibliographical revision, field research and data analysis for the understanding of Anápolis downtown dynamics starting from the informal trade performance.

Machado, Vanessa de Souza January 2014 (has links)
The Cemitério Palaeolake, formed in a Late Cretaceous magmatic carbonatitic dome in Catalão, GO, comprises a thick lacustrine deposit, dated between 51,780 ± 400 14C years BP and 27,500 ± 4,000 years BP, and rich in fossils, particulary freshwater sponges. The unprecedented presence of spongillite and diatomite layers in the same deposit, as well as the entire structures of gemmules and skeleton strutures of the sponges, allowed the proposition of the present thesis, which aimed to identify the environmental conditions that could have favored this singular production and preservation of sponges. Accordingly, the actual Serra Negra Lake, in Patrocínio, MG, was also investigated once it was formed on a carbonatite dome, similar and close to that of the Paleolake and subjected to the climate regime of the Cerrado biome. The fully preserved gemmules and fibres of the skeletal reticulum of sponges from the Cemitério Paleolake sediments, as well as the fragments of its spongillites and diatomites, were fixed on stubbs and analysed using SEM. The taxonomic analysis of spicules in the sediments sampled from all the facies of the paleolake as well as in 10 sediment samples from the Serra Negra Lake was conducted on permanent slides obtained after laboratorial preparations designed for evaluation under optical microscope. Sedimentological analyses (granulometry and organic matter) were also performed using all the sediment samples recovered from the paleolake and two sediment samples obtained from the Serra Negra Lake. The lake water was analysed for the main physical and chemical characteristics. The taxonomic analysis of spicules in the sediments of the Serra Negra Lake indicated the contribution of the same five sponge species, which formed large deposits in the neighbouring areas including those of the Cemitério Paleolake, Dosilia pydanieli Volkmer-Ribeiro (1992), Metania spinata (Carter, 1881), Trochospongilla variabilis Bonetto & Ezcurra de Drago (1973), Radiospongilla amazonensis Volkmer-Ribeiro & Maciel (1983) and Heterorotula fistula Volkmer-Ribeiro & Motta (1995). The analyses of current sediments of the lake also revealed a conspicuous biosilicious deposit, highlighting the sponge spicules, which allowed a comparison with the Cemitério Paleolake deposit. All these results led us to propose an interpretation of the evolution of the Cemitério Paleolake. Therefore, five phases of environmental changes were identified in the paleolake deposit, corresponding to the installation (lotic and erosion phase), establishment and development of the lake, and colmatation of the lake, with the latter correlating to the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM). Moreover, on the basis of the ecological requirements of the sponge species identified in the deposit, it was possible to infer the probable weather patterns related to the respective phases of the lake. The unprecedented presence of the sponge species Corvoheteromeyenia australis in the Cemitério Paleolake, which is presently recorded only in southern South America, indicated that polar incursions originating from the Antarctic were frequent during the last glacial period and may have played a notable role in what is now the central Brazil. However, for a short time, drier and hotter weather conditions may have predominated, as suggested by the presence of Corvomeyenia thumi. There is no doubt that the paleoclim favored the karstic process in the dome of Catalão I, which led to the formation of the paleolake basin, where environmental condictions favored the existence of a particular sponges community, currently typical of the lakes of the Cerrado Biome. Depth, flow and water residence in the basin as well as the availability of substrate and silica concentrations, with the latter favored by the surrounding source rocks, were the key environmental conditions for the formation of biosiliceous deposit in the Cemitério Paleolake.

The city of Luziânia, surrounding the Federal District, boundary between Goiás and Brasília, is a historical place, having over 268 years of existence. In this context, since 2010, with the government policy of expansion of vocational and technological education in Brazil it was set up the Federal Campus of the Institute of Goiás (IFG), in a strategic city location, Vila Esperança in a peripheral site, which has been changed gradually with the development of the IFG. Enabling adolescents, young people and adults, the possibility of inserting themselves into the Integrated Technical Courses, the Superior courses and into the mode of youth and Adult courses, popularly known as EJA. Assuming that the educational spaces are territories, which confer students the possibility and the perspective of improving conditions of life and work, it was decided to investigate the relationship of the City Board of Education with IFG in Luziânia, analyzing whether there are elements that show social control, participation and democracy in this aforementioned relationship. The research is justified by the need of seeking to understand if the Municipal Council, which representativeness is also contemplated by a member appointed by the IFG, is indeed fulfilling its guiding role, normalizing and controlling features in the Education field. For the development of this work, we interviewed the 11 Municipal Counselors and the representative Manager of the Institute, for a better understanding of this relationship. It was also done a bibliographical and documentary research on the topic, analyzing the content of the minutes, regiments and opinions of the Council from October 2013 to April 2015, which includes the work of the current management. The obtained results support the conclusion that the analyzed relationship confirms one of the initial hypotheses maintaining that the presence of IFG within the City Board of Education is expressed in protagonism, empowerment and contributors to the implementation of the social function of the said representative body. The proposition of the Education Observatory as a technical product and intervention in reality aims to materialize this scientific work.

Financial aspects facing start-ups during the go-to-market phase : Case studies of Swedish start-ups

Smirat, Daniel January 2018 (has links)
Abstract Swedish start-ups seem to efficiently develop new products and services but less successful when it comes to taking them to the market and launching them globally. This research aims to address this gap through investigating Swedish start-ups. In light of this problem, the author argues that there is a need for increasing knowledge regarding the financial success factors and challenges facing Swedish start-ups in the go-to-market phase. The research question is thus: What are the significant challenges and success factors affecting the financing of Swedish start-ups during the go-to-market phase? Four major challenges facing start-ups during the go-to-market phase are identified. These are lack ofsufficient capital, lack of support from the banking sector, lack of support from the regional public leveland, finally, regulations and legal issues. On the other hand, four success factors have been identified, which are support from private investors, shared financial private/public risk, efficient internal operationsand non-traditional financing methods. In order to facilitate the go-to-market financing, it is recommended that start-ups be established in a business incubator environment in order to have access to investor networks and other financial support. Besides, having investors with financial experience in the start-up boards increases the chances of success in the go-to-market phase. The banking sector in Sweden should also play a bigger role in the strategic issues in order to accelerate the start-up’s growth. For further studies, more knowledge regarding the underlying motivations of private capitalists, public funders and loan lenders is desirable. Furthermore, the business incubator’s role in facilitating the financing of start-ups and understanding how start-ups in different sectors should act to increase the rate of success are two important areas for future studies.  Keywords: start-ups, go-to-market, financing, growth, early growth, success factors

Maansson, Lykke Wilhardt, Petersen, Line January 2018 (has links)
After a stroke, gait and balance are often affected and an orthosis is typically required to facilitate postural control. This study has been conducted to examine how the Range of Motion in an Ankle-Foot-Orthosis (AFO) impacts on stroke patients’ dynamic balance. It was hypothesized that better dynamic balance would be recorded when individuals were wearing a flexible AFO. The tests that was used in this study were the Timed Up and Go test (TUG), and the Center of Pressure (CoP)/Center of Mass (CoM) inclination angle, both in Anterior-Posterior (AP) and Medio-Lateral (ML) planes. The three patients participating in this study were all users, or had been users of AFO’s, and during the study they were asked to wear a customized AFO with the possibility to change the settings to open, flexible and rigid ankle joints. The order was randomized within each patient. No clear pattern was observed across all patients, either in the TUG test or CoP/CoM inclination angles. Further studies are required to explore the impact that AFO flexibility has on dynamic balance in individuals who have had a stroke.

Internal Dashboard

Wagnberg, Michael, Danielsson, Peter January 2018 (has links)
This project is about creating a Dashboard with suitable data models containing support ticket statistics for the company Sigma IT Consulting. The work flow used by Sigma today is to manually log in to the system to see the support ticket statistics, which can be a tedious and time consuming process. Furthermore, Sigma do not have any monitoring system for checking the health of their web application services. They have a need for an internal Dashboard containing this information with regularly updates. Our solution is to design suitable data models and implement them within a Dashboard application.

__________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / Cerrado Rupestre occurs in an accident relief landscapes, with moderate declivity to the accented one and under rocky outcrops. Besides its floristic richness, this phytophysiognomy acts as barrier for the agricultural advances in the Cerrado. Despite its importance in the biodiversity conservation, there is no precise mapping of its occurrences in the above mentioned biome. The goal of this study was to map the areas of occurrence of Cerrado Rupestre in the Goias State by analyzing 24 LANDSAT satellite images. The methodological strategy involved image segmentation, Battacharya and ISOSEG automated classifications, visual analysis and refinement through the slope, geological and geomorphological data integration. The use of ISOSEG classifier allowed the identification of 2.262.000 hectares hectares of Cerrado Rupestre, without field validation. For this, we selected a smaller, continuous test site (aproximately 908,000 hectares), again, with highlighted biological richness: the Pouso Alto Environmental Protected Area (EPA) and the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park (CVNP), both located in the northeastern part of Goias. The final mapping for this study area, based on the field verification of 34 sites, resulted in an global precision index of 76%. Results of this research indicated that the use of image segmentation technique followed by Battacharya supervised classification presents computer limitations for extensive areas. The use of monotemporal LANDSAT images allowed the identification of Cerrado Rupestre ocurrences, however, its delimitation was difficulted by spectral confusions with the phytophysiognomies Cerrado sentido restrito, Mata Seca Decídua e Mata Seca Semidecídua. The use of Battacharya classifier presented limitation in the computer capability for both areas. As future research, we recommend field validation for the Goias State mapping, analysis of multitemporal LANDSAT scenes, and synergistic analysis between LANDSAT and radar data.

Brad Mehldau et le lâcher-prise : une approche comportementale de l'improvisation musicale / Brad Mehldau and letting go : a behavioral approach of musical improvisation

Amestoy, Jean-Luc 24 November 2016 (has links)
Currently, the musicology of improvisation essentially highlights the intentional part of an artistic project ; our thesis starts with a quite distinct approach, looking at improvisation as a complex process, with a self-organization dimension inspired of the way biologists analyse collective behaviors in animal societies. These behaviors are todays perceived as the result of combined statistical processes at the individual scale, with numerous inter-individual interactions, amplifications, and non linear loops. Such an analysis of observed natural phenomena led biologists and physicists to introduce and set-up concepts and tools that we use here to propose a modeling approach adapted to Musicology. We start with musical intuitions to propose a description of the perceptions and actions of the improviser that puts forward the deep interaction between what is made of pre-builded knowledge and intention, on one side, and of « tuning random behaviors », on the other. This modeling approach is carried out on two transcriptions of the american pianist Brad Mehldau. With the first piece (Am Zauberberg), we fully describe the iterative process leading from the poorest model to the need of incorporating hand-gestures. With the second piece (Bard), we dress the question of improvising harmony, each voice being conceived as animated of its own displacement rules, but spatially constrained by the others. We conclude by opening up prospects of experiments inspired by these models, some concerning the teaching of improvisation, others aiming at better understanding the process by which a musician seeks to incorporate to his play more « letting go », at the heart of what improvisation is about.
