Processos de análise da imagem gráfica: um estudo comparativo da publicidade de moda. Esta pesquisa que tem como principal objetivo analisar comparativamente anúncios publicitários impressos de moda1 nacionais e internacionais com a intenção de entender seu processo persuasivo, os recursos de sedução e de manipulação. Para atingir este objetivo, resgataremos algumas das principais propostas de análise da imagem na publicidade impressa e contribuiremos com uma sugestão para um novo modelo que segue a trajetória da percepção da imagem à ação esperada do leitor modelo incluindo considerações sobre a campanha em que o anúncio examinado está inserido e o seu contexto. Para demonstrar o modelo de análise proposto analisaremos três anúncios de marcas de artigos de vestuários ligadas ao segmento do jeanswear. / Graphic image analysis processes: a comparative study of fashion advertising. The main objective of this survey is to undertake comparative analyses of domestic and international fashion2 ads aiming to understand both their persuasive processes and their seduction and manipulation resources. To achieve this objective, we will rescue a few of the main image analysis proposals in advertising in print and contribute with a suggestion for a new model that ranges from image perception to the readers expected course action, including considerations on the campaign in which the ad under analysis is inserted and its context. To demonstrate the proposed study model, we will analyze three jeanswear article ads.

O presente trabalho consiste numa abordagem semiótica da obra literária de Lourenço Mutarelli, a qual compreende três romances: O Cheiro do Ralo, O Natimorto e Jesus Kid. Os textos são estudados com base em desenvolvimentos promovidos por semioticistas na área de semiótica poética e literatura; no que diz respeito a essa última, sobretudo as colaborações de Denis Bertrand em seu livro Caminhos da Semiótica Literária. Por conta das características do autor estudado, se propõem discussões a respeito de ethos, veredicção, enunciador e narrador; conceitos mais diretamente ligados à retórica e a Análise do Discurso. / This work consists of a boarding semiotics of the literary composition of Lourenço Mutarelli, who wrote three romances: O Cheiro do Ralo, O Natimorto and Jesus Kid. The texts are studied on the basis of developments promoted in the area of poetical semiotics and litereray semiotics. This work uses the contributions of Denis Bertrand in its book Caminhos da semiótica literária and Roman Jakobson in Lingüística e Comunicação. For account of the characteristics of the studied author if they consider quarrels regarding ethos, verediction, enunciator and narrator; concepts more directly on to the rhetoric and the analysis of the speech.

In the twentieth century, such discussions were intensified and built a polarization, in which there were the ones who defended the relevance of the studies on meaning, and the ones who believed to be impossible to develop those researches. In addition, the Linguistic Historiography is the approach developed in this thesis, in order to interpret the work Structural Semantics` theoretical productivity from the author Algirdas Julien Greimas, one of the linguists who defended vehemently the importance and legitimacy of the meaning analysis. Moreover, this guideline is justified due to the pertinence of this work in the linguistics setting, highlighted in different texts that deal with it as a watershed in the language studies. The Strcutural Semantics was published for the first time in French (1966), and it portrays surprisingly many aspects concerning the existing ideas in that period related to the meaning. Perhaps, Greimas lived in the most productive moment for the language studies of the twentieth century. Furthermore, it was in this period that Course in General Linguistics (Ferdinad de Saussure), Prolegomena a Theory to Language (Louis Hjelmslev), Morphology of the Folktale (Vladimir Propp) etc were published. Besides, Greimas lived for a long time in France, the epicenter of many theoretical discussions concerning both, language (langue) and language (langage). Though, his writings were not only read in this country, but also in many others, such as, Brazil where the Structural Semantics started to be part of many articles, dissertations and thesis` references. The respective work made changes in the research contexts of meaning that went beyond the linguistic semantic field, not only about the object, but also to the meaning and no longer to the sign, concerning the method that was completely different from the ones used so far in the Linguistics / Os estudos da significação suscitaram várias controvérsias, internas e externas à linguística, desde as reflexões iniciais de Platão e Aristóteles na Grécia Antiga. No século XX, tais discussões se intensificaram e contruíram uma polarização, na qual havia os que defendiam a importância dos estudos da significação e os que acreditavam serem impossíveis tais pesquisas. Esta dissertação realiza uma abordagem historiográfico-linguistica que busca interpretar a produtividade teórica da obra Semântica estrutural, escrita por Algirdas Julien Greimas, um dos linguisticas que defenderam com maior veemência a relevância e a legitimidade do exame acerca da significação. Tal diretriz se justifica graças à pertinência dessa obra no cenário da linguística, evidenciada nos vários textos que a tratam como um divisor de águas nos estudos da linguagem. A semântica estrutural foi publicada pela primeira em francês (1966), trata-se de um texto revelador de vários aspectos concernentes às idéias existentes nesse período relacionadas à significação. Greimas viveu durante o período que, talvez, tenha sido o mais produtivo para os estudos da linguagem no século XX. Basta lembrar que nesse intervalo foram publicadas as obras: Cursos de linguistica geral (Ferdinand de Saussure), Prolegômenos a uma teoria da linguagem (Louis Hjelmslev), muito tempo na França, epicentro da ebulição de várias discussões teóricas relativas à linguagem e à língua. Porém, seus escritos não circularam apenas nesse país, chegaram a vários outros, inclusive no Brasil, onde a Semântica estrutural passou a fazer parte de muitas bibliografias de artigos, dissertações e teses. A respectiva obra causou alterações no contexto das pesquisas acerca da significação que repercutiram além do âmbito próprio da semântica linguística, tanto no que se diz respeito ao objeto a significação e não mais o signo, quanto no que se refere ao médico, que se diferenciava drasticamente dos utilizados, até entaõ, em linguística.

Uppsatsen behandlar Digimon Adveture - den första säsongen av tv-serien Digimon. Uppsatsen undersöker narratologi och karaktärer med hjälp av teorier och tankar från Vladimir Propp, Umberto Eco och Julien Greimas.

Le Sou shen ji搜神記est l’œuvre la plus représentative et influente du genre zhiguai志怪, sa valeur historique et artistique est incomparable par rapport aux autres œuvres pareilles. Son auteur Gan Bao幹寶est un historien et lettré très réputé sous la Dynastie Dong Jin. Parmi ses nombreuses œuvres historiques et littéraires, c’est le Sou shen ji qui a connu le plus grand succès. Cette œuvre recueille autour de quatre cent soixante-quatre récits indépendants l’un de l’autre, et dont les sujets sont d’une variété considérable, reflétant dans une certaine mesure la mentalité et les croyances des Chinois de l’époque. Dans notre thèse nous avons fait des recherches sur cette œuvre dans une perspective sémiotique, employant la théorie sémiotique de Greimas. Dans la partie discursive, nous avons fait des analyses discursives et culturelles autour de la conception chinoise du shen et à partir de quatre catégories : les dieux dotés d’une fonction (shen神), les immortels (xian仙), les revenants (gui鬼), et les yaoguai妖怪, pour dessiner une image plus claire du « shen » pour les Chinois. Nous voyons que la conception du shen dans la culture chinoise, se trouvant au carrefour de la religion, de la politique, et de l’éthique, n’est pas un concept défini sur le plan théologique et transcendantale. Dans la partie narrative, nous nous concentrons sur les traits narratifs des récits fantastiques du Sou shen ji, en essayant en même temps, de construire un modèle narratif plus applicable à ces récits et à la description d’une relation intersubjective. / Sou shen ji is the most representative and influential work of the zhiguai genre, its historic and artistic value is unmatchable, compaired with other works of the same genre. The author, Gan Bao, is a very famous historian and scholar in Dong Jin dynasty. Among his numerous historical and literary works, it is Sou shen ji, who has had the biggest success. This work collects around four hundred and sixty-four stories independent one from each other, and the subjects are also very various, reflecting to some extent the mentality and the beliefs of the Chinese of the time. In this thesis, we have studied this work in a semiotic perspective, using the semiotic theory of Greimas. In the discursive part, we have done some analyses, from a discoursive and a cultural point of view, of the chinese conception of shen, from four categories : the gods who have a function (shen神), the immortals (xian仙), the ghosts (gui鬼), and the yaoguai妖怪, in order to draw a clearer picture of the conception of shen to the chinese. We can see that in the chinese culture, the conception of shen, located at the intersection of the religion, the politics, and the ethics, is not a concept defined in theological and transcendental termes. In the narrative part, we focus on the narrative features of the stories in Sou shen ji, and at the same time, we also try to build a narrative model which is more applicable to these stories and to the description of the intersubjective relationship.

Orientador: Gisela Gomes Pupo Nogueira / Resumo: A partir de uma abordagem discursiva, o presente trabalho propõe ferramentas para descrever os eventos estéticos e os tipos de discurso musical que permeiam a música instrumental contemporânea, mais especificamente nas escolhas enunciativas que cabem ao intérprete musical. Inicialmente, são definidos alguns preceitos acerca da interpretação musical, passando pelas correntes interpretativas e pelas funções do intérprete até chegar à reflexão sobre o ato musical em si. Após a apresentação desse panorama das discussões sobre a atividade interpretativa, a atenção se volta para a construção de sentido na música, de onde se entende que os próprios eventos estéticos – acontecimentos de grande impacto – guiam os fazeres musicais. Para tal finalidade, é utilizado o ferramental de certa linhagem da semiótica francesa. É Greimas, mais especificamente no livro Da Imperfeição, quem diz que as linguagens sensíveis são caracterizadas por eventos (estéticos ou estésicos) que rompem com um sentido discursivo mais abrangente, análogo à própria vida cotidiana, agregando-lhe valor. Os autores Zilberberg e Landowski, em suas trajetórias teóricas, buscaram sistematizar o livro Da Imperfeição cada um a seu modo, ainda que com diversas congruências: Zilberberg, partindo das reflexões de Greimas sobre as fraturas, estabelece a sua acepção de acontecimento, que busca dar conta do evento que acarreta um verdadeiro rompimento do sentido, cuja restauração se daria na própria resolução do acontecimento, q... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Based on a discursive approach, the present work offers tools to describe aesthetic events and the types of musical discourse present in contemporary instrumental music, particularly in enunciative choices made by musical performers. First, some precepts related to musical performance are defined; later, interpretative currents and the functions of the performer are brought to the debate until finally reflecting upon the musical act itself. After presenting this overview of discussions on the interpretative activity, construction of meaning in music is contemplated, reaching an understanding that the aesthetic events themselves - events of great impact - guide musical activities. For such, the tooling of a certain line of French semiotics is used. Greimas is the one who – in the book De l’imperfection – says that sensitive languages are characterized by (aesthetic or aesthesial) events that enable a more comprehensive discourse meaning – which is similar to everyday life itself – increasing its value. Throughout their theoretical trajectories, authors Zilberberg and Landowski sought to systematize the book De l’imperfection, each in their own way, but with different congruences: Zilberberg, based on Greimas' reflections on fractures, establishes his meaning of event, which tries to present an incident that causes a real disruption of meaning, whose restoration would take place in the very resolution of such incident, gradually turning into discursive grandeur; Landowski, on t...
