O presente trabalho de pesquisa traz uma nova abordagem e novos personagens dentro do contexto educacional. A pedagogia do salto alto é uma nova leitura que traz as histórias de professoras transexuais e travestis atuantes na educação brasileira como personagens que, por muito tempo, ficaram escondidas ou à margem da sociedade. A partir das histórias de vida apresentadas, analiso tópicos importantes e significativos, norteando o tema da Educação, transversalizando com outros temas como sexualidade, gênero, violência e preconceito. Também proponho, neste trabalho, apontar alguns caminhos possíveis na busca de uma educação possível, a partir destes novos sujeitos. / The present research provides a new approach and new characters into the educational context. The pedagogy of the high heels is a new point of view that brings the stories of transsexuals and transvestites teachers that work in Brazilian education as characters who had long remained hidden or placed on the margins of society. From these life stories I analyze important and significant topics driven by the theme of education traversed by other issues such as gender, sexuality, violence and prejudice. In this paper, I also suggest to point out some paths that aims a perspective of education possible from these new subjects.

In his book, Of Cigarettes, High Heels, and Other Interesting Things, Marcel Danesi examines how high heels have moved away from the original purpose of shoes and now “seem to contravene this function. They are uncomfortable and yet millions of women wear them." They have moved from practicality to a sign of femininity, sexuality, and power.

Title: Quantification of plantar pressure distribution and geometry of forefoot according to the character of shoes Objectives: The main purpose of this thesis is to describe and verify the changes in the sole of the foot according to the style of shoe which are manifested by changes in the values of the maximum pressure, contact area, contact time and changes in pressure time integral. The next object is to verify the changes in forefoot geometry according to the style of shoes. Methodology: The sample consisted of 6 healthy women of average age 25 ± 1 year. All study participants reported wearing high-heeled shoes occasionally which means not more than twice per week. The measurement was realized with the Pedar-X in-shoe pressure measurement system (Novel) and motion capture system Qualisys. Results were analysed statistically using Wilcoxon test. Statistical significance was set at p < 0,05. Results: From the received data we could find out the changes that footwear causes in healthy people. The findings of this study indicate that the use of different style of shoes affect all measured parameters such as maximum pressure, contact area, contact time and pressure time integral.From the experiment evaluation, it is clear that the style of shoes may also affect the geometry of forefoot.
