This master thesis is addressing an issue of information system used in The University Hospital Brno. The current system and its environment is evaluated using analysis SWOT, HOS2009 and other observations. Based on the results the work elaborates the idea of an unified information system and its feasibility in practice.

The thesis deals with the information strategy scheme for the company operating within the tertiary industry. The enterprise is analyzed via various methods, with emphasis on the current state of IS/IT and on business needs in this area. A comprehensive information strategy is designed on the basis of the analysis to ensure the day to day business operation, competitiveness and the scope for its further growth.

This masters thesis will focus on proposals which will lead to improve functionality of company e-shop. Will describe functionality and importance of the e-shop for company business. Proposals are aimed to increase users comfort and more effective usage of computing resources. There will be introduced processes which will help to implement proposed changes according to current trends in the design and project management of IS/ICT. This thesis will also take a look of potential risks of related to the transition to the new hardware and define change management process.

The aim of this thesis is the analysis, design and implementation of a data bridge between the information system of the company Sledovanitv.cz, s.r.o. and the economic system. The first part describes the objectives of the project. The theoretical part provides the necessary foundation for the implementation and, in addition to the theoretical background of information systems as a whole it presents and describes the technologies used for the execution of the implementation. The needs and requirements for future expansion are determined based on the analysis of the current situation. The practical part introduces a proposed solution, the method and procedure of implementation. This thesis deals with the analysis of information system in the selected company ŽĎAS and subsequent elaboration of draft to improve individual components and services related to information system and business processes. The work focuses primarily on the IS designed for engineering, which is one of the most valueable enterprise activity.

This thesis analyses the state of one of the information systems in ALES Company as proposing possible solutions for its improvement. The recommended solution would be to streamline the daily operations of information system as well as improve its current status. This diploma thesis focuses on the information system Time Mission owned by ARTIN Ltd. The main part of the thesis is composed of analysis of the system including description of the network infrastructure and used technologies which are useful for another development of software. On the basis of analysis possible changes will be proposed. These changes should lead to increase in efficiency of the information systém.

The content of this diploma thesis is to design user interface to SQL database for the Secondary Technical School in Frýdek-Místek. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part provides the necessary information and theories important for successful fulfilling the goal of the work. The practical part analyses the current situation of the school and offers a solution to the problem mentioned.

I samtalet om IS-återvändare, vem får komma till tals? Finns det ett mönster och hur gestaltas IS-återvändarna själva, får de stå till svars för sina handlingar? Eller är det den vita politikern som får prata om den Andre återigen? Med en kvalitativ undersökning av 20 utvalda artiklar från år 2019, i danska kvällstidningen B.T. samt den svenska motsvarigheten Expressen, ska denna studie ta reda på vem som får uttrycka sig och hur gruppen IS-återvändare samt deras återvändande gestaltats i medierna. Metoden visar att det främst är politiker som får komma till tals samt uttrycka sig angående IS-återvändare i dessa artiklar, samtidigt som IS-återvändare själva nästintill aldrig kommer till tals. Detta går i linje med postkoloniala teorier, som understryker att detta reproducerar ett vi och dem i samhället. Genom den kritiska diskursanalys och bildanalys som gjorts, syns det en tydlig gemensam diskurs i de båda medierna. I denna studie beskriver vi en skulddiskurs, där IS-återvändarna kontinuerligt porträtteras som skyldiga, med eller utan dom samt i rätt att bestraffas. Slutsatsen blir därmed att gestaltandet av IS-återvändarna och återvändandet följer ett eurocentriskt perspektiv samt (stereo)typifierar, vilket i sin tur skulle kunna ge negativa effekter på individ- och samhällsnivå. Studien visar att IS-återvändarna aldrig hör hemma i de nordiska länderna, då de gör svenskhet och danskhet fel. Människorna som rapporteras vara återvändare eller resenärer får aldrig vara individer. Detta eftersom de aldrig får komma till tals och inte heller beskrivs med en gedigen bakgrund. Istället får dessa människor endast vara en del i en större nationell politisk kontext, i Danmark och Sverige.

Since the cold war, contemporary warfare is more frequently fought between state and non-state actors. The Islamic State is a non-state actor who in a short period of time reached major achievements. Some scientists consider the Islamic State’s warfare as a developing trend of irregular warfare. Despite the Islamic State’s big achievements, it seems the organisation have not been sufficiently studied from a military science perspective. There is an obvious ambiguity in how the Islamic State should be defined. One side in the debate consider the Islamic State a revolutionary actor, the other side consider them as a hybrid one. By examining witch of McCullohs theory of hybrid warfare and Guevaras theory of revolutionary warfare most adequate can describe the Islamic State; this case study aims to increase the current understanding of the Islamic State and its warfare. The analytical result shows that the Islamic State is more adequate described as a hybrid actor. There are many similarities between the two theories, however there are some essential differences that supports the result of this paper. The use of terrorism, the relationship with the population and the use of urban terrain proves that the Islamic State is more adequate described as a hybrid actor.
