Ou seja, o homem desta sociedade pós-tradicional torna-se fragilizado pelos dilemas da modernização tardia. É neste contexto que foram realizadas vinte e três entrevistas com pastores neopentecostais das igrejas Mundial do Poder de Deus e Internacional da Graça de Deus com a finalidade de evidenciar quais as demandas recebidas e como oferecem respostas às pessoas que os procuram. Neste sentido, procura-se a condição da religião na sociedade póstradicional e, através da análise, se existe um tipo ideal de pastor neopentecostal. Ademais, a contribuição desta dissertação para as Ciências Sociais está em oferecer vasto material empírico transcrito que pode auxiliar as futuras pesquisas que venham trabalhar sobre o aspecto do pensamento social e a reprodução de discursos. / A, post-traditional, modern society is market by a series of changes and conflicts, characterized as a risk society which requires the increasingly globalized and individualized man, a series of problems and conflicts to be dealt with in everyday life: alcoholism, other vices, homosexuality, employability, failures in attempts at social mobility, isolation, loneliness, helplessness, feelings of emptiness of traditions. That is, the mano f this posttraditional society becomes weakened by the dilemmas of late modernization. It is in this context than twenty three interviews with neo-pentecostal pastors of churches Worldwide Power of God International and the Grace of God in order to show which demands such offer received and responses to people seeking were performed. In this sense, it seeeks to the condition of religion in post-traditional society and, through analysis, if there is an ideal type of pentecostal pastor. Moreover, the contibution of this dissertation for the Social Sciences is offering vast empirical material transcript that can assist future research that may work on the aspects of social thought and reproduction of discourses.

Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro / In recent years, at Nova Iguaçu city, one of the several cities of the so-called Baixada Fluminense at the great metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro city, a new and interesting religious phenomenon has been observed: the foundation of Evangelical Pentecostal churches by women. Desiring to act more freely from their churches hierarchy, that most of the time does not delegate positions of leadership to female members, these women have broken with the Pentecostals and Neopentecostals congregations to which they used to belong in order to established their own churches. Gathering a relatively small flock around them in her own houses or small temples, those women are most of the time the main leader, and sometimes the only pastor of their new church. Based on a field research carried out by observation and interviews at eleven of these churches throughout the years of 2008 and 2009, the present Masters thesis uses the notion of empowerment and of charisma to understand the emergence of female founded Pentecostal churches and the trajectory of and role performed by their main leaders / Nos últimos anos, Nova Iguaçu, município integrante da Baixada Fluminense, tem sido palco de um interessante fenômeno religioso responsável por promover mudanças significativas no âmbito das denominações evangélicas: a fundação de igrejas evangélicas por mulheres. Impulsionadas pela vontade de viver sua fé de um modo alternativo, sem estarem submissas a uma hierarquia que, na maioria das vezes, não delega cargos de liderança à parcela feminina, estas mulheres rompem com as congregações pentecostais e neopentecostais das quais eram seguidoras e fundam igrejas em espaços adaptados. Assim sendo, esta dissertação propõe uma análise da maneira como a identidade feminina vem sendo reelaborada no meio evangélico em função do surgimento destas igrejas. Utilizando a noção de empoderamento em conjunto com o conceito de carisma, este trabalho apresenta inferências oriundas da pesquisa de campo e de entrevistas realizadas ao longo dos anos de 2008 e 2009 em onze igrejas evangélicas fundadas por mulheres em Nova Iguaçu.

"Religion, Sexuality and Power - The religious and political leadership of pentecostal Gospel" proposes, in its first part, a theoretical reflection in which it discusses the articulation of sexuality, power and religion in the life of humans. Also discussed the relationship between religion and politics focusing on the group of Gospel in their participation in contemporary Brazilian policy. The second part is of field research taking as representatives of the group Pentecostal Church of the Gospel Square and the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. The methodology used was the case study, having as interviewed eight leaders Pentecostal: four men and four women. The main techniques used in data collection were observations and semi-structured interviews. The data analysis revealed that the sexuality of leaders is controlled by the authorities that they exercise the powers of their roles in religious and political leadership. Verified a huge difference between the leaders in male and female aspects related to sexuality and power. However, in both sexes, the power makes the leader an object much more desired, even unattainable. In turn, as object wished, also wishes, but not may desire. This is the price to be paid involving direct religion, sexuality and power on the experience of each. Religion, power and sexuality are enmeshed forces that permeate the life and the quotidian of leaders and, by extension, the members and participants of pentecostal Churches. This research presents, therefore, as a contribution to studies on group Pentecostal with its significant growth and participation, increasingly, its leadership in politics / Esta pesquisa buscou investigar a relação entre religião, sexualidade e poder na liderança religiosa e política dos Evangélicos pentecostais. Religião, Sexualidade e poder A liderança religiosa e política dos Evangélicos pentecostais propõe, em sua primeira parte, uma reflexão teórica na qual se discute a temática da sexualidade, do poder e da religião analisando-se a articulação destas forças na vida do ser humano. Ainda, nesta parte teórica, discorreu-se sobre a relação entre a religião e política enfocando o grupo dos Evangélicos na sua participação na política brasileira contemporânea. A segunda parte trata da pesquisa de campo tendo como representantes do grupo pentecostal a Igreja do Evangelho Quadrangular e a Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus. A metodologia utilizada foi o estudo de caso, sendo os entrevistados oito líderes pentecostais: quatro homens e quatro mulheres. As principais técnicas utilizadas na coleta de dados foram observações e entrevistas semi-estruturadas. A análise dos dados revelou que a sexualidade dos líderes é controlada pelo poder que eles exercem nas atribuições de seus papéis na liderança religiosa e política. Verificou-se uma enorme diferença entre as lideranças masculina e feminina nos aspectos relacionados à sexualidade e ao poder. No entanto, em ambos os sexos, o poder faz do líder um objeto mais que desejado, ainda que inatingível. Por sua vez, como objeto desejado, também deseja, mas não pode desejar. Esse é o preço a ser pago envolvendo diretamente a religião, a sexualidade e o poder na experiência de cada um. Religião, poder e sexualidade são emaranhados de forças que permeiam a vida e o cotidiano dos líderes evangélicos e, por extensão, a dos membros e freqüentadores. Esta pesquisa apresenta-se, portanto, como uma contribuição aos estudos sobre o grupo pentecostal com seu significativo crescimento, e participação, cada vez maior, de sua liderança na política brasileira

A investigação, de corte qualitativo, baseou-se em depoimentos colhidos de sujeitos que frequentavam simultaneamente estes dois espaços de \"cura\". Concluiu-se que os dois espaços são usados conjuntamente e percebidos como nitidamente distintos. Através da análise dos depoimentos foi possível estabelecer uma série de categorias distintivas que permitem especificar as particularidades e diferenças entre o espaço racional científico e o espaço religioso, quando se trata de \"cura\". A presente investigação objetivou estudar as relações que se estabelecem entre Aids e religião a partir dos campos sanitário e religioso. Buscou discutir a presença do fator religioso na vivência de portadores do HIV, entendendo esta presença dentro do contexto da relação que historicamente tem se estabelecido entre saúde e religião, fortemente evidenciada nas últimas décadas, principalmente com a atuação das igrejas ou ramos pentecostais. Foi escolhida a metodologia de corte qualitativo e para a construção e análise dos discursos dos sujeitos envolvidos: portadores do HIV freqüentadores de igrejas pentecostais, profissionais de saúde que atendem portadores do HIV e religiosos pentecostais, utilizamos as figuras metodológicas que compõem a proposta do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC). Na análise dos discursos fica evidente a busca da religião após o conhecimento do diagnóstico de HIV, onde a doença é ressignificada à luz do discurso religioso; discute-se a função que a religião tem exercido nestas situações, tanto no sentido do conforto e proteção ao indivíduo quanto à promessa de cura para este e outros males, ocupando um espaço de \"terapia religiosa\". Conclui-se pela identificação de uma relação marcada pela harmonia e pelo conflito entre Aids e religião, porém não se acredita, e portanto não se propõe, a superação deste conflito, mas a necessidade de aprofundar o conhecimento desta relação que é efetiva, visando uma convivência pautada pelo respeito as diferentes posturas próprias de uma sociedade pluralista. / This inquiry has been accomplished in order to study the relationships grounded between Aids and religion from the sanitary and religious fields. lt has discussed the presence of religion in people infected with mv. clarifying this presence within a context that historically has been established between health and religion and that has become strongly enhanced for the last decades, mainly due to the performance of churches and pentecostal branches. The methodology of qualitative cut has been chosen and methodological figures for building up and analysis o f speeches o f the individuais involved : people who are HIV positive and who are members ofPentecostal_Churches, professionals related to health, who care o f lllV positive and people from the Pentecostal Church itself that make up the proposition ofthe Collective Subject Discourse (DSC). lt becomes evident throughout this analysis the seeking of religion following the receiving of the results of the HIV diagnosis where the decease is given a new significance under the light of the religious discourse; it has been discussed the role o f religion in these situations either in terms o f providing comfort and protection to the individual or promise of cure for this or other decease, taking up a \"religious therapy\". Finally, the identification o f the existence o f a relationship enhanced by smoothness and by conflict between Aids and religion, however it is not believed, therefore not proposed the overcoming o f this conflict, nevertheless the necessity o f deepening the knowledge o f this relationship that is effective aiming a respectful coexistence with attitudes that are inherent to a pluralist society.
