Att våga, vilja och kunna; mimesis och känslan av ett själv : en vetenskaplig essä om att stödja barns bildskapande utveckling i förskolan

Uppsatsen handlar om hur jag utifrån två självupplevda berättelser ur förskolans verksamhet bättre kan förstå barns känsla av ett själv och vilken roll den spelar vid deras utvecklande av bildskapande i förskolan. Jag får genom den essäistiska processen syn på vad det är det jag upplever som dilemma i mina två inledande berättelser. Det handlar om min förförståelse av det i förskolan så ofta benämnda begreppet självkänsla samt om hur jag genom applicerandet av Aristoteles mimesis-begrepp på mina berättelser söker nå en ökad förståelse av barns känsla av ett själv för att bättre kunna stödja utvecklandet av deras bildskapande. Essäns reflekterande del har två avsnitt. Först gör jag först en komprimerad historisk tillbakablick på området affektteori för att söka en ökad förståelse av förskolans självkänslabegrepp. Genom att sedan lämna självkänsla därhän och istället applicera begreppen självbild, självvärdering och self-efficacy på mina inledande bilder ur verkligheten förändras min syn på vad barns känsla av ett själv i förskolans verksamhet kan vara. Även min förståelse av hur jag som pedagog kan stödja barnen i denna känsla, för att deras bildskapande utveckling skall stärkas förändras. I den andra delen av mina reflektioner söker jag med hjälp av en fördjupning av Aristoteles tolkning av begreppet mimesis en utvidgad förståelse för barns behov av bildskapande. Jag kommer till insikt om, tvärt emot min initiala bias, att kopiering och mallar kan vara utmärkta verktyg vid utvecklingen av barns bildskapande processer.. Avslutningsvis tar jag helt kort upp barns kultur och dess inkorporerande i förskolans verksamhet som ett vidare forskningsområde. / This essay is about how I can better understand children's sense of self and what role it plays in their development of image creation in preschool, based on two self-perceived stories from pre-school activities. Through the essay process, I get an idea of ​​what I experience as a dilemma in my two initial stories. It's about my understanding of the in preschool so often referred to concept of self-esteem, and how I, by reaching an increased understanding of children's sense of self, better can support the development of their image creation. The essay´s reflective part has two sections. First, I make a compressed historical backlog in the field of affect theory to seek an increased understanding of preschool's self-esteem concepts. By then leaving the concept of self-esteem and instead applying the concepts sense of self, self-evaluation and self-efficacy to my initial images from reality, my view changes on what children's sense of self in preschool activities can be. Even my understanding of how I as a teacher can support them in this sense for their image-creating development to be strengthened changes. In the second part of my reflections, I seek, by means of Aristotle's interpretation of the concept of mimesis, an in-depth understanding of children's image creation needs. I realize, contradictory to my initial bias, that copying and templates can be excellent tools in the development of children's image-making processes. In conclusion, I take up the children's culture and its incorporation into preschool activities as a further research area.

Esta dissertação tem como origem o interesse na busca de conexões entre Matemática e Artes Visuais no estudo de conceitos geométricos. Ela centra seu foco na contribuição associada de recursos fotográficos e computacionais, principalmente o photoshop, dentre os últimos, para a abertura de espaços centrados em manifestações artísticas discentes. E, abre-se à abordagem de formas de experiência (BONDÍA, 2002) em uma turma de alunos de 8ª série do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública de Porto Alegre voltada à criação de imagens. Desta forma, a produção fotográfica, presente naquelas manifestações, não é considerada apenas como imagem pré-definida, mas, principalmente, processo de criação. Aliam-se a essa produção noções matemáticos, tais como: ângulo, proporção e simetria, e a busca discente por sua aplicação. O estudo também visa instituir os alunos como articuladores nos processos de fotografar objetos e criar imagens, respectivamente, com o auxílio de recursos fotográficos e ferramentas computacionais. O referencial teórico desta dissertação constitui-se de uma composição da noção de experiência (BONDÍA, 2002) com ideias vinculadas à utilização de recursos fotográficos com fins educativos (COSTA, 2006). Na dissertação descrevo o contexto do estudo e apresento uma análise detalhada das ações que nele ocorreram, procurando vestígios de possíveis experiências, tanto discentes quanto minhas. / This dissertation is aimed at seeking for connections between Mathematics and Visual Arts in the study of geometrical concepts. Its main focus is on the contribution that both photographical and computational resources, mainly photoshop, among the latter, bring to the opening of spaces for students’ artistic expression. It also opens itself to approaching forms of experience (BONDÍA, 2002) within an 8th grade class of a public school located in Porto Alegre, which dedicates itself to the creation of images. This way the students´ photographic production is not considered as just predefined images, but mainly a creative process. Mathematical notions such as angle, proportion and symmetry as well as the students’ search for their application play a special part in this production. The study also aims at instituting the students as articulators in the processes of photographing objects and creating images, respectively, supported by photographic resources and computational tools. The theoretical approach of this dissertation is composed by the notion of experience (BONDÍA, 2002) and ideas linked to the employment of educational photographic resources (COSTA, 2006). In the dissertation I describe the context of the study and present a detailed analysis of its actions, looking for traces of possible experiences from both, students and mine.

Bakgrund: Estetiken har alltid varit en central del i förskolans vardag och genom estetiska inslag ges barnen möjlighet att utforska sin omvärld. I förskolan bör barn få erfarenheter och kunskaper om den estetiska uttrycksformen bild genom att arbeta och förstå bild som mål i sig och som ett medel för att nå andra kunskaper. Forskning visar att estetiken ofta används som medel och mer sällan som mål. Förskolläraren har det huvudsakliga ansvaret av undervisningens innehåll och utformning. Det blir därför intressant att studera förskollärares olika syn och arbete kring bildskapande utifrån vad tidigare forskning belyst. Syfte: Studiens syfte är att bidra med kunskap om hur estetik används i förskolan. Mer specifikt vill vi studera förskollärares syn på och beskrivna arbete med bildskapande i förskolan. Metod: Studien är av kvalitativ art och empirin bygger på åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer med förskollärare. Empirin bearbetades med hjälp av tematisk analys. Resultat: Studiens resultat visar att bildskapande har en viktig plats i förskolan. Bildskapande är viktigt enligt förskollärarna eftersom de såg att barnen utvecklar olika kunskaper och kompetenser. Resultatet visar också att förskollärarna beskrev att de ofta hade ett syfte med bildundervisningar. Utifrån förskollärarnas beskrivningar arbetade majoriteten av informanterna med bildskapande som både mål och medel. En tolkning är däremot att när de arbetade med bildskapande som mål eller medel grundades det inte alltid i ett medvetet val.

The thesis focuses on the analysis of the process of creating a political image in the course of an election campaign, offering a case study of Magdalena Ogórek's candidacy during the Polish presidential election of 2015. The analysis is preceded by a theoretical introduction which lays down the groundwork for subsequently reporting the empirical findings. The following central terms and concepts are covered: political marketing (especially in the context of post-1989 Poland), political image (with an emphasis on the process of its creation and the parties involved), political language (again, particularly in the context of contemporary Poland), and the notion of stereotype (both linguistic and non-linguistic, with an emphasis on stereotypes about women). The empirical results are reported in three sections which offer different perspectives on the phenomenon under scrutiny. The first part investigates how Magdalena Ogórek herself, her team and PR consultants created her image as a candidate. The second part presents an analysis of the influence that her political opponents had on her political image. The third and final part concerns itself with Magdalena Ogórek's media image, as created by the Polish media during the campaign. The purpose of the study is to elucidate how students use image creation at the youth leisure centre. We also want to highlight the the differences that exist between the students' image creation from a gender perspective as well as how the students interact with each other during the image creation. We have chosen to use a qualitative approach when we use observations as a method for the data collection. In the study, we have used socio-cultural and gender perspectives. The result shows that tools and materials are very central to the creation of the image. The result also show that during the image creation, social interaction appears between the students through communication and the choice of classmate is based on gender. Furthermore, the results show that the students most often use image creation based on their own interests, which then leads to the students' image creation being gender-typical. This usually depends on whether the image acitivity is free or teacher controlled. / Syftet med studien är att belysa hur eleverna använder bildskapande i fritidshemmet. Vi vill även belysa hur eleverna samspelar och interagerar med varandra under bildskapandet ur ett genusperspektiv samt skillnader som finns mellan elevernas bildskapande ur ett genusperspektiv. Vi har valt att använda oss utav en kvalitativ ansats då vi använder observationer som metod för insamling av data. I studien har vi använt oss utav sociokulturella perspektiv samt genusperspektiv. Resultatet visar att redskap och material är väldigt centrala för bildskapandet att ske. Resultatet visar även att under bildskapandet sker sociala samspel mellan eleverna genom kommunikation samt val av kamrat baserat på kön. Vidare visar resultaten att eleverna oftast använder bildskapande utifrån egna intressen som sedan leder till att elevernas bildskapande är könstypiska. Detta beror oftast på ifall bildaktiviteten är fri eller lärarstyrd.
