O objetivo da pesquisa O aspecto rítmico na tradução de cinco poemas de Ingeborg Bachmann é realizar traduções dos poemas \"Die gestundete Zeit\", \"Anrufung des Großen Bären\", \"Alle Tage\", \"Erklär mir, Liebe\" e \"Was wahr ist\" de Ingeborg Bachmann (1926-1973), as quais considerem o aspecto rítmico como fator fundamental do processo tradutório. Para tanto, serão analisadas as estruturas internas do ritmo nos poemas escolhidos à luz de reflexões teóricas acerca de o que é e como se manifesta o ritmo. A partir de tal análise e das reflexões será proposta, por fim, uma estratégia de trabalho tradutório que privilegie tais estruturas rítmicas no texto de chegada. / The purpose of The rhythmic aspect on translating five poems from Ingeborg Bachmann is to translate the poems ,,Die gestundete Zeit\", ,,Anrufung des Großen Bären\", ,,Alle Tage\", ,,Erklär mir, Liebe\" and ,,Was wahr ist\", so that on translating them their rhythmic aspect will be of cardinal importance. To this end, the internal rhythmic structures within those poems will be analysed under theories which state what the rhythm is and how it displays itself in a poem. Based on this analysis and on the theoretical reflection I will then propose a translating strategy in which these rhythmic structures are the priority in the target language.

This thesis analyses Ingeborg Bachmann's posthumously published texts in the volume Male oscuro. Aufzeichnungen aus der Zeit der Krankheit and their relations to her literary work. Two central themes are elaborated through the analysis of the volume: illness and writing. The focus is on Bachmann's conception of writing and the issues arising from it. A comparison between Male oscuro and the author's work, the short story Undine geht and two poems Keine Delikatessen and Böhmen liegt am Meer, shows analogies on several different levels. The concept of utopia indicates continuity in Bachmann's work and the existential condition for her writing in relation to the metaphor of 'desert'. Ingeborg Bachmann’s recurrent references to the Spanish painter Francisco de Goya have frequently been noted, but have so far never been investigated. After outlining, in chapter one, Bachmann’s references to Goya in her thesis on Wittgenstein as well as in the Franza-Fragment and in her only novel Malina, this thesis sets out to highlight the text-image relation between Bachmann’s novel Malina and Goya’s series of murals which are known as the so called „Black Paintings“. Chapter two focuses on the importance of intertextuality and intermediality in Bachmann’s novel and the importance of quotation for the female narrator, who relies on intertextual and intermedial references to express her traumatic experiences. After an introduction into the aesthetics of Goya, in chapter three, chapters four and five examine the text-image relation between Goya’s painting El Perro Semihundido and the first chapter in Bachmann’s novel. The double perspective contained in El Perro, of the subjective expression of the dog’s longing for rescue and the objective futility of this hope as expressed by the dog’s positioning against the abstract background setting, is transferred onto the female narrator and her longing to be rescued through love. Chapter five especially focuses on the (problematic) semantic shifts which occur in the course of this transformation from an abstract representation in the painting to the depiction of concrete and personalized experiences in the text. Chapter six investigates the correlations between Bachmann’s dream chapter and the aesthetics of Goya’s murals, and asks to what extent Bachmann succeeds in transferring the main motifs in Goya’s images into literary form. Chapter seven explores the similarities and media-specific differences in the strategies deployed for depicting madness, violence and destruction in Bachmann’s text and in Goya’s murals and his series of prints on the Desasters of War. Bachmann’s novel Malina shows an extraordinary richness in intertextual and intermedial references. Analysing the explicit as well as implicit references to Goya’s late works in the novel this thesis addresses one area on Ingeborg Bachmann which has not been researched in detail so far.

(česky) Tato diplomová práce pojednává o postavě ženy v díle Ingeborg Bachmann, konkrétně v povídkách Anna Maria, Vy šťastné oči, Štěkot a v románu Malina. Jsou zde shrnuty a rozebrány hlavní aspekty ženských postav - extatická láska a vztahy s muži, naděje, beznaděj a utopie, problémy společnosti, strach, problémy komunikace a problémy v době po zániku monarchie a po době nacistické. Hlavní hrdinky v sobě ukrývají filosofické poselství Ingeborg Bachmann, o které se pokouší i má interpretace ženy jako osvoboditelky či spasitelky. Abstrakt (Deutsch) Diese Diplomarbeit behandelt das Thema der Frauenfigur im Werk von Ingeborg Bachmann, konkret in den Erzählungen Anna Maria, Ihr glücklichen Augen, sowie im Roman Malina. Es werden hier alle Hauptaspekte der Frauenfiguren erforscht und zusammengefasst: ekstatische Liebe und die Beziehungen zu Männern; Hoffnung, Hoffnungslosigkeit und Utopie; die Probleme der Gesellschaft, der Angst und der Kommunikation sowie die Beschwernisse der Frauen in der Zeit nach Monarchie und Nazismus. Die Hauptdarstellerinnen tragen das philosophische Vermächtnis von Ingeborg Bachmann in sich, dem auch meine Interpretation der Frau als Erlöserin gewidmet wird. This thesis examines a selection of poems of Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan for stylistic devices, used to express the dynamic of speaking and silence in the poems. The main question of the thesis is how speaking and silencing are represented in the poetry of Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan and which influence has the philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein and Martin Heidegger on this representation. For both poets the problem of speaking and expressing themselves appeared to be an acute question in the post-war time (World War II). The language scepticism led to the reconsideration of the role of language in poetry and the search for the new ways of expression.
