Intermedialita v moderní literatuře / Intermediality in Modern Literature

Michlová, Lucie January 2012 (has links)
The thesis outlines one type of intermediality in literature, musical composition transformed into the structure of the modern novel. The theme is based on the philosophical and aesthetic ideas of the sovereign status of music within the other arts. The relationship between literature and music is described on the basis of this specific status. In the sphere of these various relations, attention is paid to the connection between musical composition and the composition of a novel (the manifestation of musical composition in a novel is named here as the musicality of literature). In the central part of the thesis there are demonstrated the possibilities of application of musical compositional devices in a novel through an analysis of three works (The Counterfeiters by André Gide, Point Counter Point by Aldous Huxley and Tonio Kröger by Thomas Mann). These musical compositional devices are: multiple melodic lines, musical cyclical forms and a leitmotif.

Opatření obecné povahy / Measures of a general nature

Hála, Ondřej January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the institute of Administrative Law called "measure of a general scope". It is a form of administrative activity, the general rules of which were adopted by Act No. 500/2004 Coll., The Administrative Code effective from 1. 1. 2006. During vacatio legis of The Administrative Code, the Act No. 127/2005 Coll., The Electronic Communication Act came into force. It was the first act, which empowered the administrative bodies to issue an act in the form of measure of general scope. The aim of the thesis is to clarify the position of other administrative measures and acts, to assess relevant legislation, to analyze case law, to draw attention to problematic areas and suggest possible solutions. The first chapter deals with the theory of abstract and concrete acts. This is necessary to understand the nature of measures of a general scope as an act that stands between laws and decisions. The second chapter is devoted to the nature of measures of a general scope in Czech law. The institute itself was adopted imperfectly and inconsistently by a negative definition. Therefore, the Supreme Administrative Court had to deal with the character of measures of a general scope. Nowadays, case law and jurisprudence agree on the definition of measures. There is a discrepancy, however, regarding...

What models and representations do Swedish upper secondary school teachers use in their teaching about the atom?

Netzell, Elisabeth January 2016 (has links)
This report presents the results from a survey study on Swedish upper secondary school physics andchemistry teachers’ use of models and representations in teaching the atom. The study builds upon an earlier systematic international literature review on the role of models and representations in the teaching, learning and understanding of the atom. The overall aim of the study is to explore what models and representations are used by Swedish upper secondary school physics and chemistry teachers in their teaching about the atom, what informs teachers’ selection of the atomic models and representation forms and how they specifically use them in their teaching of the atom. The method for collecting the data for this study was an electronic questionnaire containing six introductory questions followed by nine open and four closed items, which were analysed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Thirty-one responses were received and analysed in this study. The results of the study indicate that Swedish teachers’ selection and use of atomic models and representation forms in their practice correspond with findings in the previously conducted literature review. For example, the Bohr atomic model was shown to be the most popular for teaching about the atom amongst the Swedish teachers in this study, since it is deemed intuitive and easy to visualize. A further result revealed that the de Broglie atomic model was only used by physics teachers, and that physics teachers overall used more atomic models in their teaching than chemistry teachers, a finding that might be related to the different teaching content in physics and chemistry. The study also shows that Swedish teachers are very comfortable with, and advocate, using different representation forms in their teaching. One interesting finding in this regard was that the use of physical models is predominantly more popular among chemistry than physics teachers. In line with the findings in the previous literature review study, students’ prior knowledge and individual learning styles were found tobe important influencing factors in teachers’ selection of representation forms to use in the classroom. The majority of the teachers also agreed on that it is important to explain to students how models should be interpreted and used, but one interesting finding, that differs from the previous research, is that some teachers were of the opinion that students have an already well-developed modelling ability when encountering different models of the atom.

[en] THE ONTOLOGY OF SOCRATES IN THE PLATONIC DIALOGUES: FROM THE SEARCH FOR DEFINITIONS TO THE CRITICISM OF THE PARMENIDES / [pt] A ONTOLOGIA DE SÓCRATES NOS DIÁLOGOS PLATÔNICOS: DA BUSCA POR DEFINIÇÕES ÀS CRÍTICAS DO PARMÊNIDES

RENATO MATOSO RIBEIRO GOMES BRANDAO 07 May 2015 (has links)
[en] This dissertation aims to investigate the ontology proposed by the character Socrates in the Platonic dialogues. In opposition tothe mostly accepted interpretation which attributes to the character Socrates the adoption of two distinct ontologies, I defend the hypothesis that the Socrates of the Platonic dialogues consistently argues from within a single ontological theory. This theory consists in the postulation of real and existing intelligible entities that act as the cause of the properties of sensible objects. The dissertation is divided in two parts. In the first part, I analyze the particularities of the Platonic composition as well as the construction of the actual reading paradigm of the Platonic works. In a second moment, I start investigating the first dialogues and claim that the ontological theory that underlies Socrates arguments in these works is the same as the one we can find in the middle dialogues. In the last chapter of the first part, I expose the Socratic arguments from the middle dialogues and I show how, in these woks, the underlying ontology of the first dialogues is more explicitly and informatively presented. The second part of the dissertation consists in an analysis of the critiques of the Theory of Forms that we find in the Parmenides dialogue. In the first moment of this second part, I argue that the Socrates from the Parmenides is again defending the same ontological theory from the middle and first dialogues. Afterwards, I show how the critiques constructed by the character Parmenides are valid and do present significant problems to the ontological theory of Socrates.

Peixoto, Luciano Crotti. January 2019 (has links)
(Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The purpose of this dissertation is to demonstrate the impact and necessity of extrajudicial activity for the consolidation of public policies and fundamental rights that result in the effec-tiveness of the different forms of family in contemporary society, its structure and its applica-tion, the polyphase unions. The family institute, previously analyzed only from the patrimonial perspective, corroborated to a reality of patriarchal society, went to the improvement of its perspectives through the principiológica base of affectivity. In this way, we have to interpret the Civil Code in the light of the Federal Constitution and it is necessary to recognize true pluralism of family entities, and the legal system must guarantee them respect and protection. The repersonalization of family relations, made possible by the recognition of the juridical and social value of affection as the relevant factor for the family composition, promoted a re-reading of the family institute that began to be guided by constitutional principles and rules, aiming the development of dignity of all members of the family. The guiding problem of the work stems from the shortcomings of the legal system that make it difficult to exercise the right to poliafetividade, and its core objective is to demonstrate the urgent need to review current legal models. In the face of different family situations, extrajudicial activity is presented as an element of citizen access to the contemporary dictates that guide thi...
