1	Det otänkbaras domän : en komparativ undersökning av Herakleitos och Lars Noréns fragment / The Domain of the Unintelligible : A Comparative Study of the Fragments of Heraclitus and Lars Norén Eriksson, Morgan January 2021 (has links) The purpose of this study is to investigate modernity as a phenomenon in the history of ideas, and specifically to problematize its strict delimitation between the categories of philosophy and poetry. The foundation of the study consists of a comparative analysis of the fragments of pre-Socratic philosopher Heraclitus and of the Swedish poet Lars Norén, functioning as examples of these respective categories. This is achieved with the help of the theoretical abutments offered by Plato, Sven-Eric Liedman and Iain McGilchrist. The conclusion of the study is that there has been a cultural shift in the Western world since antiquity pertaining to a certain form of philosophizing activity, and that 'the old way' of exploring physics in many ways is the same as 'the new way' of creating poetry. modernity Heraclitus Lars Norén poetry rationalization History of Ideas Idé- och lärdomshistoria

4	En komparativ analys av Lars Noréns och Ulf Lundells dagböcker : – genre, subjekt och åldrande Strandberg, Per Olof January 2023 (has links) Med utgångspunkt från dagbokens specifika form av självframställning undersöker uppsatsen åldrande och maskulinitet i Lars Noréns och Ulf Lundells dagboksserier (2000–2022). Frågor som ställs är hur jaget i dagböckerna konstrueras och hur intersektionen åldrande och maskulinitet framställs. Analysen använder Philippe Lejeunes studier av dagboksgenren. Lejeune beskriver den självbiografiska dagboken som en form av "antifiktion” på grund av dess intima koppling till i stunden pågående liv. Andra teoretiska utgångspunkter är Michel Foucaults essä ”Vad är en författare” och Roland Barthes ”The Death of the Author”, vilka problematiserar relationen mellan den fysiska författaren och texten. Uppsatsen hävdar att en autofiktiv text är en iscensättning av jaget. Som utgångspunkt används antagandet att genus såväl som ålder är socialt konstruerade identiteter. 5	Varan-i-världen : Varan i form och innehåll i En dramatikers dagbok / Being-in-capitalism : The commodity in content and form in Diary of a Playwright Stark Theander, Ellen January 2022 (has links) This thesis explores the commodity as a motif in the first volume of Lars Norén’s Diary of a Playwright, as well as how this motif relates to reification and alienation, and in addition is reflected in the work formally. The study is oriented both towards the text’s depiction of the commodity and its reflections on its own depiction. These descriptions are read in light of Marxist theory and through comparisons with Walter Benjamin’s Passagenwerk, where the latter work also forms a connection to Martin Heidegger and Simone Weil in their capacity of important influences for Norén. Much like in the Passagenwek, the commodity acts as a secret structure in Diary of a Playwright. It organises the text and its seemingly disparate elements on a deeper level. The study contributes to a new understanding of one the greatest Swedish writers in the 20th and 21st centuries. Although the diary has not been the subject of much research, the predominant understanding of the work is, as with Norén’s other writings, largely characterised by a psychoanalytic perspective.
