Ce travail se situe dans le cadre de la Théorie Standard Étendue, à laquelle certaines modifications sont apportées, notamment quant à l’association d’une règle sémantique aux opérations transformationnelles. Il est montré que ce type d’approche permet d’assigner à chaque phrase une description sémantique (une forme logique) apte à représenter un phénomène crucial comme la présupposition (sémantique). L’étude empirique porte sur la périphrase verbale « venir de + infinitif » et ses équivalents dans plusieurs langues qui recourent soit à une autre périphrase (par exemple, l’espagnol « acabar de + infinitif »), soit à l’emploi d’un adverbe (latin « modo », anglais « just », etc.) accompagnant une forme de parfait ou de prétérit. On soutient qu’à ces expressions de surface très diverses correspond une forme logique sous-jacente combinant un opérateur d’accompli à un opérateur de restriction portant sur un adverbe de temps (« maintenant » / « alors », etc.). De nombreux phénomènes, tant synchroniques que diachroniques, trouvent leur explication dans un tel cadre, en particulier la concurrence entre « venir de + infinitif » et « ne faire que (de) + infinitif » dans l’histoire du français.<p><p>This research work has been carried out in the framework of a modified version of Extended Standard Theory where semantic rules are associated to transformations. It is shown that this approach allows assigning to each sentence a semantic description (i.e. a logical form) able to represent such a crucial phenomenon as (semantic) presupposition. The empirical study bears on the French verbal periphrasis « venir de + infinitive » and its equivalents in several languages where we find either another periphrasis (like, for instance, Spanish « acabar de + infinitive ») or an adverb (Latin « modo », English « just », etc.) modifying a perfect or preterite form. It is argued that such highly diverse surface forms should receive an underlying logical form that combines an « accomplished/completed » operator to a restriction operator taking a time adverb (« now » / « then », etc.) under its scope. Les conquêtes et les hauts faits d’Alexandre le Grand ont fait l’objet d’une tradition romanesque à laquelle est donné le titre générique de Roman d’Alexandre ;elle est connue par le biais de nombreuses versions, traductions et adaptations. L’objectif de la thèse est d’évaluer les prétentions littéraires des Res gestae Alexandri Macedonis de Julius Valerius, première version latine connue de ce Roman. Le texte – envisagé comme objet littéraire autonome, en raison, notamment, de la perte de l’original grec dont il constitue la traduction – a été analysé au travers de trois séries d’études, portant sur le lexique, la syntaxe verbale et les figures de style. Effectués sur la base de la dernière édition de référence (ROSELLINI 2004²), ces dépouillements offrent la première vision approfondie des ambitions qui caractérisent la démarche de l’auteur ;ils ont permis en outre d’envisager, à titre d’hypothèse, l’objectif de ce dernier :dans un monde en voie de christianisation, donner à l’élite politique et culturelle un nouvel accès à texte consacré à l’une des figures les plus célèbres de la culture païenne. / Doctorat en Langues et lettres / info:eu-repo/semantics/nonPublished

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo traduzir e analisar o Liber Primus da obra Inscriptionum Libri Duo, do poeta neolatino francês Jean Visagier. Esse livro foi publicado em 1538, em Paris, na tipografia de Simon de Colines. O Liber Primus dessa obra possui noventa e três epigramas que foram traduzidos e, posteriormente, estudados quanto à imitação que fazem da antiguidade clássica. Encontramos vestígios, nesses epigramas, de autores latinos como Catulo, Marcial e Ovídio. Sendo um poeta renascentista, em alguns momentos foi necessário cotejar seu texto com a tradição posterior à clássica, sobretudo nos epigramas de cunho erótico. Inclui-se, ainda, um estudo introdutório sobre a inserção de Jean Visagier na cultura do século XVI, principalmente entre o grupo de poetas neolatinos. / The purpose of this research is to translate and to analyze the Liber Primus of the book Inscriptionum Libri Duo, by the French Neo-Latin poet Jean Visagier. This book was published in 1538, in Paris, in the typography of Simon de Colines. The Liber Primus has ninety-three epigrams that were translated and later studied regarding their imitation of Classical Antiquity. We found vestiges, in these epigrams, of Latin authors like Catulus, Martial and Ovid. As Visagier is a Renaissance poet, at times, it was necessary to compare his text with the post-Classical tradition, especially in the erotic epigrams. It also includes an introductory study on the insertion of Jean Visagier in the culture of the sixteenth century, mainly in the group of Neo-latin poets.

Tradução crítica do livro VIII do \"De Lingua Latina\" do gramático Varrão com o propósito de assim estudar parte dessa obra ainda pouco divulgada em português. Nesse livro Varrão trata sobre a maneira de se expressar na escrita, e na fala - mesmo que de uma minoria ilustrada -, mas também lança seu olhar para a disposição das palavras no enunciado conforme as funções que elas aí ocupam. Isso se evidencia por ele demonstrar preocupação com as regras que deveriam ser seguidas em relação a essa disposição das palavras ao apresentar a discussão de sua época entre analogistas e anomalistas no que se refere à analogia existir ou não no âmbito da linguagem, mais precisamente no âmbito dos processos de formação de palavras em latim. / Critical translation of book VIII of the \"De Lingua Latina\" (On The Latin Language) of the grammarian Varro with the intention to study part of this book still little divulged in Portuguese. In this book Varro deals with on the way if expressing in the writing, and in it speaks - exactly that of an illustrated minority -, but also launches his look for the disposal of the words in agreement statement the functions that they occupy there. This if evidences for him to demonstrate concern with the rules that would have to be followed in relation to this disposal of the words when presenting the quarrel of its time between analogists and anomalists as for the analogy to exist or not in the scope of the language, more necessarily in the scope of the processes of formation of words in Latin.
