銀行的利率風險管理是資產負債管理中相當重要的課題,尤其是隨著金融自由化與國際化的發展,同業市場競爭日漸激烈,使銀行利差縮小,獲利能力大不如前,因此如何管理利率風險,避免利率波動對銀行淨值與獲利能力的影響對銀行而言將更形重要。而資訊科技在企業的應用,已從以往輔助性的角色漸漸轉變為增加企業競爭優勢的策略武器。雖然我國金融業引進電腦科技於日常業務處理已有二十年了,但後檯管理作業仍以人工處理為主,如何利用管理資訊系統更有效率的提供相關訊息,已成為各銀行面臨的迫切課題。
然而國內雖有一些資產負債管理資訊系統相關的研究,唯對銀行利率風險管理方面的著墨並不深入;也有些關於銀行利率風險管理相關的文獻,但還沒有專門針對銀行利率風險管理結合管理資訊系統方面的探討。所以本文試圖由此方向出發,建立一銀行利率風險管理資訊系統架構,並運用實際銀行的資料於雛型系統上,發現利用銀行利率風險管理資訊系統,將可更有效率的提供相關訊息,並可將計算複雜、具技術性且專門的利率風險衡量方法及避險工具操作模型納入系統中,增加銀行利率風險管理的效率與效能。 / The interest rate risk management is a very important element in the bank Asset Liability Management(ALM). As the higher degree of deregulation and internationalization of financial environment, bank interest rate spread is compressed and the profit is decreased. Interest rate risk management becomes even more important for banks to maximize its net worth or total profit. The advance of information technology(IT) in business has become one of the most important strategic weapon to increase the business competitive edge. Although there have more than 20 years experience of IT on local financial institution, IT has seldom been used to the decision making levels. So, in the near future, how to apply management information systems(MIS) to help bank management has become a major concern.
In the past, the research on the bank asset liability management system was less emphasis on the application of MIS on the interest rate risk management. This paper provides a bank interest rate risk management system framework which can help the bank managers to assess the interest rate risk. Finally, a bank's historical data was used to evaluate the prototype system, and the result shows that the prototype system could improve the bank interest rate risk management.

Previous issue date: 2012-06-18 / Advances related to information technology are visible and inherent to the management of
contemporary organizations, regardless of industrial action. Synchronized with this dynamic,
educational institutions are incorporating technological tools that assist its management and
academic support to teachers in teaching and interaction with the students. Given that
technological innovations are not always taken homogeneously and with the same degree of
coverage, remain current and relevant studies on how these technologies are being used in
academia. The objective of this research is to identify the usage profile of the functionality of
a virtual learning environment related to teaching (undergraduate or postgraduate),
demographic variables (age and gender) and institutional (time of admission and academic
center of origin.) The methodology applied to the study is descriptive and quantitative. The
research is characterized as census, covering all 2152 teachers of undergraduate and graduate
students of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, who accessed the virtual
classes of the Integrated Management of Academic Activities. The study findings revealed
that there is a statistically significant difference regarding the use of these tools to teachers
who work with undergraduate (49.3%) compared to graduate (6.6%). Regarding gender,
women (40.1%) use the system more than men (38.5%). It was also observed that the younger
teachers, aged 37 years, are the most active users (42.5%) of the Virtual Class with respect to
their elders. For teachers with up to three years time of admission to the UFRN, the pattern of
use is more advanced than those with more seniority, as well as the faculty of the Center for
Science and Technology are the least likely to use the tools available in relation to other
academic centers. It is hoped that with this study managers can direct actions to improve and

Acompanhando essa din?mica, as institui??es educacionais v?m incorporando ferramentas

na intera??o com os discentes. Tendo em vista que as inova??es tecnol?gicas nem sempre s?o

The main objective of this elaborate is putting together a set of recommendations of how to implement a CPM solution. Determine critical success factors. A particular target, that helps in defining the implementation phases is a comparison of tools from the CPM market leaders. The targets of the thesis will be reached by description of the theoretical concept and analysis of selected tools, comparison of tools portfolios of selected enterprises from the point of view of the concept complexity and comparison of the theoretical background, technical solution and degree of outer and inner integration. Thesis (PhD)--Stellenbosch University, 2015. / ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV is a key maternal and child health intervention in the context of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in South Africa. Accordingly, the PMTCT programme has been incorporated in the District Health Management Information System (DHMIS) that collects monthly facility-based data to support the management of public health services. To date, there has not been a comprehensive evaluation of the PMTCT information system. By comparing the experiences in two health districts, using the Performance of Routine Information System Management (PRISM) framework and tools, this study seeks to evaluate the availability, quality and use of process and output indicators for monitoring PMTCT interventions.
A comparative analytical and observational study was undertaken using a multi-method approach which included: a self-administered survey of health information personnel to assess confidence and competence levels for routine health information system (RHIS) tasks, an assessment of the routine PMTCT data for quality, completeness, accuracy, and data use; and a facility survey of RHIS processes and resources. In addition, in-depth interviews with 22 key informants and observations in health facilities were conducted. Data were collected from 57 health facilities in a convenience sample of two health districts, and also from 182 health information personnel in the 57 health facilities, three sub-districts, and two district offices. Descriptive statistics, χ2-test, correlation and multiple regression analyses were conducted using STATA® Version 13. A general inductive approach was also used to analyse the qualitative data, which was used for triangulation.
The study revealed considerable data quality concerns for the PMTCT information with an average accuracy between the register and routine monthly report of 51% and between the routine monthly reports and DHMIS database of 84% suggesting that the primary point of departure for accurate transfer of data is during the collation process. The importance of human factors was emphasised by the observation that the average confidence level for performing RHIS-related tasks (69%) was not commensurate with the average competence levels (30%). Education was found to be associated with competence, implying that levels of education may be associated with the level at which RHIS competencies are acquired; and that three years or more of post-matriculation education is necessary. with competence. The study observed the absence of processes such as data-quality checks and data-analysis in place in facilities. There was a general absence of a culture of information use, as a result of lack of trust in the data, and the inability of programme and facility managers to analyse, interpret and use information. We observed differences in the data accuracy by organisational authority, and multivariate analysis and qualitative information suggested that feedback may be an essential process to ensure quality.
Although the PRISM framework has been developed from a multi-disciplinary evidence base, this study has been able to validate some of the internal assumptions but has also found some aspects that were not supported such as motivation and data display. Data collected from a larger number of facilities will be required to investigate this further.
Institutional capacity to improve RHIS processes, ensure core competencies for RHIS-related tasks are needed, and in the longer term, measures to tackle problems associated with low pass rates in numeracy subjects among high school learners are needed. Further exploration of the possible factors that may influence data accuracy, such as supervision, training and leadership are needed as well as investigating the relationships between human and institutional agency-related aspects, in particular, how individual actions can bring about changes in institutional routines. Further study is needed to determine how decision for planning and evaluating key programmes such as PMTCT are made, and what informs such decisions if not routine data. / AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: In die lig van Suid Afrika se MIV/VIGS-pandemie kan ’n ingryping op gesondheidsvlak ’n belangrike rol speel om moeder-na-kind-oordrag (beter bekend as PMTCT) van MIV te voorkom. ’n Inligtingstelsel vir distriksgesondheidsbestuur – die DHMIS – was ontwerp vir die invordering van maandelikse fasiliteitsdata, wat gebruik kan word om die bestuur van openbare gesondheidsdienste en -programme te ondersteun. Die inligtingstelsel self was nog nie omvattend evalueer nie. Hierdie studie het die ervarings van twee gesondheidsdistrikte vergelyk met behulp van die PRISM- (Performance of Routine Information System) raamwerk en -instrumente. Derhalwe het hierdie studie die beskikbaarheid, gehalte en gebruik van proses- en uitsetaanwysers probeer bepaal om die PMTCT-ingrypings te monitor.

Hoewel die PRISM-raamwerk saamgestel was uit ’n multi-dissiplinêre bewyslewering, kon hierdie studie sommige van die interne voorneme valideer, maar daar was aspekte wat nie gestaaf kon word nie. Inligting van ’n groter aantal fasiliteite sal benodig word om verder hierna ondersoek in te stel.
Institusionele kapasiteit word benodig om RHIS-prosesses te verbeter en basiese vaardighede vir RHIS-verwante take te verseker. 傳統會計與決策管理系統受限於現行財務會計報導的架構,並未儲存與財務無關,或不能以金額衡量的資訊,無法對非財務性決策提供有效的幫助。而資訊語意的差異更使得傳統會計與決策管理系統不易與企業內其他資訊系統互通,造成系統整合上的困擾,歷來不斷有學者探討會計與決策管理系統資訊模式建立之方法,以增進會計與決策管理系統資訊模式的有用性。
本研究提出會計與決策管理系統資訊模式建立之框架與方法,強調會計與決策管理系統之建構,應與企業策略發展整體考量,同時導入REA model整合企業整體資訊模式與財會專業資訊模式,並採用UML作為系統發展流程之塑模工具,編製系統發展有關文件,以利後續選擇解決方案的映對程序,確認解決方案符合使用者需求,及增進會計與決策管理系統在企業內的整合性與互通性。 / Traditional accounting and decision management information system cannot support non-financial decision making, because there is only stored financial information without non-financial information due to the current financial accounting reporting structure. The information semantic differences block interoperability between accounting and decision management information system within the organization. And it also has caused the challenge of enterprise information integration. Researchers strive to find viable information modeling process or method to help accounting and decision management information system to be constructed.
This thesis presents accounting and decision management information system information modeling framework and process. The framework stresses the construction of accounting and decision management information system must connect with enterprise vision and strategy. It also adopts and expands REA model to integrate accounting information model and enterprise information model at information modeling process. UML is a high-level modeling tool to develop system processes. The goal is to provide a standard method to develop system blueprints beyond tool-specific system solutions and to apply UML modeling documents to map different system solutions and make sure the solution fit with user requirements, and improve the integration and interoperability for accounting and decision management information system design and development.
