Identitet och klassprägel : Unga vuxnas identitetsskapande i Araby och Öjaby / Identity and class mark : Young adults’ identity formation in Araby and Öjaby

Mattsson, Susanna January 2015 (has links)
The aim of the study was to compare how young adults experience their identity formation in relation to both their own as well as to another residential areas class character. The study had a comparative approach and two socioeconomically diverse areas in the Municipality of Växjö were studied. The study's empirical work consists of qualitative interviews with young adults from the residential areas Araby and Öjaby. The empirical data were analysed with the help of Erik H Erikson's theory of identity, Pierre Bourdieu's theory of social class and John L Scotsons and Norbert Elias's theory of established and outsiders. The results of the study showed that young adults feel that their residential area has a considerable impact regarding to their identity formation. The results also showed that an area's reputation has a strong impact on how individuals in the area are perceived. All respondents in the study felt that people from the socioeconomically privileged area had better life conditions than people from the socioeconomically disadvantaged area. These conditions include the school situation as well as the labour market.

Our research deals with the menipeaen satire in the work The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain and discusses the narrator's performance in it. It is a work apparently elaborated for young readers, but it also criticizes the pre-established norms, and it embraces fantasy and humor with bases on the characteristics pointed out by Bakhtin. The roots of the menipeaen satire are based on the carnival, which shelters an ambivalent sense and it turns out to be comic rites and popular feasts of unofficial character. With the philosopher Menipo of Gadara, century III B.C., the menipeaen satire acquires the classic form, but it was with Marcus Terentius Varro (116-27 B.C.), roman philosopher, author of Saturae Menipeae that the term was used for the first time. We have based our research on Bakhtin , who talks about the carnival process and points out the characteristics of the menipeaen satire. Twain's humor and satire come from his deep way of thinking, imagination and critical sense; which convey to his experience and to local color computing a clear but deep style. The writer's critical thinking can be noticed from his first works, and it can be evidenced in his anti-imperialist moment. We have focused some aspects of the satire, of the literary carnival, and we have developed a study of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer under the point of view of menipeaen satire.

Markovo evangelium v českých překladech Bible / Mark's gospel in the Czech Bible translations

Vondráček, Robert January 2018 (has links)

The great commission, a sacred cantata for mixed chorus, soloists, and symphony orchestra

Breitweiser, David Paul January 1955 (has links)
Thesis (Ph.D.)--Boston University / The Great Commission is a sacred cantata written for mixed chorus, soprano, messo soprano, tenor, and bass soloists, and symphony orchestra. The main text, St. Mark xvi. 15-18, determines the general plan. It is composed in six parts with a finale. Part I contains the command of Jesus, "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel." Parts II to VI are each made up of, (1) an introduction with the pronouncement of one of the signs which would follow, and, (2) a musical setting of a biblical text which is a fulfilment. Part I begins with a processional type introduction in g minor for full orchestra and marked Moderato maestoso. It is formed of irregular length phrases punctuated by short rests and introduces the entrance of the chorus, singing in unison, "Jesus came...and spoke", with the sopranos beginning on a high G. Des représentations sociales du VIH/sida à la construction d'une identité séropositive : analyse de discours en pays Moba (Nord-Togo) / From social representations of HIV/aids in Moba's area to the seropositive identity building : the speech analysis in North-Togo

Kanati, Lardja 16 December 2011 (has links)
The social representations of HIV/AIDS such as they are socially and culturally perceived and the strategies updated in the speech of the people living at the daily with HIV/AIDS in Moba's area were explored. A significant review of the literature tried to highlight the evolution of knowledge, beliefs, attitudes, concerns and defenses in comparison with the international social events and to identify the components of the social representations of HIV/AIDS by approaching them through the prism of the model contagionnist, the profane theories, the reasoned action and the planned behavior, as well as the explanatory theories (of the mark, the prejudices and discrimination) and those of the liminal fears. Empric work was undertaken in Moba’s area, in North-Togo. The objectives were to analyze the components of the common/profanes speeches of uninfected and infected people in order to highlight the cognitive phenomena induced by the social representations of the disease which contribute to the construction of an identity of HIV-positive individual. In all, 410 old people of 18 with more than 56 years including/understanding: 376 uninfected people including 269 catches in a random way and 7 agents of Association Food in the Hope dealing with people living with the HIV and 34 people infected by HIV/AIDS. A sociolinguistic analysis of contents applied to the various produced speeches. It was done by identifying key categories as well as verbatim while measuring their importance. The use of SPSS software (Statistical Social Package for the Sciences) allowed to classify the speeches in order to emphasize recurring. To carry out a check procedure, we had recourseto the method of sworn which enabled us to validate the dcatégories identified by two teachers of the University of Kara originating in the Moba’s area like us. The social representations of HIV/AIDS in Moba’s area are worked out and structured under the influence of processes socioculturels which remain prejudicial for the people reached of the HIV. If the not infected people continue to regard the AIDS as a serious illness, mortal or a venereal disease because it is related to the sex, the infected people do not seem car-to stigmatize themselves like “dangerous people” and describe themselves rather like patients reached of a chronic disease, as well as those which are victims of malaria. They recognize that the medical and psychosocial assumption of responsibility produced a change (positive) in the perception of the disease and that which of it is carrying. The attitudes at their place would be and remain in spite of very hostile. This factor would be at the origin of the sufferings of these people and the implementation to the daily living strategies to face their evil. A true seropositive identity seems to be built around the behavioral determinants which relate to the prevention of the double infection, the marriage between hiv-positive individuals, the maintenance of the exercise of a trade, the renouncement of the sexual activities, the ritual specific ones of mourning, testimonys with discovered face, the maintenance of the unvoiced comment and the policy of the secrecy as for their seropositivity.

Friktion mellan mobil vattenbarriär och mark / Friction between mobile water barriers and ground

Sollander, Joel, Svensson, Marcus January 2018 (has links)
