El objetivo general del presente trabajo de título es la obtención de Leyes de Logaritmos Iterados para records en modelos continuos y discretos. El trabajo propuesto es interesante, no sólo por el natural desafío en el aspecto teórico, sino que también por las aplicaciones en las cuales se pueden utilizar los records, como por ejemplo en estructuras de datos para la computación; se trata de continuar una línea de trabajos similares publicados en revistas del área, en el contexto de la Ley de los Grandes Números y el Teorema Central del Límite. Se espera encontrar el mayor número posible de resultados de esta índole para records especialmente para el caso discreto.

This article is a lecture accepted for presentation and publication in the proceedings of the 2nd International Conference .on the Teaching of Mathematics, held in Crete on July 2002. Some elements to have in mind for the teaching of Game Theory are given, using the author's teaching experience that relies on the viewpoint that encourages the formal development of mathematical concepts after proposing students problems related with these concepts and after stimulating and analyzing their intuitive approaches to the solution of these problems.

Se considera una ecuación de evolución singularmente perturbada del tipo reacción-difusión, donde la no-linealidad depende de la densidad espacialmente normalizada, es decir incluye un funcional. El dominio es acotado y se impone en su frontera la condición de flujo nulo.

The present paper introduces 10 Appell's type generalized functions Mᵢ, i = 1, 2, ... , 10 by considering the product of two 3F2 functions instead of product of two Gauss functions taken by Appell to define F1, F2 , F3 and F4 functions. In the concluding remark it has been pointed out that by considering the product of two nFn-1 functions a set of n² + n- 2 functions analogus to Appell functions will emerge. The paper contains fractional derivative representations, integral representations, symbolic forms and expansion formulae similar to those obtained by Burchnall and Chaundy for the four Appell's functions, have been obtained for these newly defined functions M1, M2 , … M10.

The Paper deals with a two variable analogues of certain fractional integral operators introduced by M. Saigo. Besides giving two variable analogues of earlier known fractional integral operators of one variable as special cases of newly defined operators, the paper establishes certain results in the form of theorems including integration by parts.

Se presenta la deducción de una regla de suma para polinomios de Laguerre, obtenida mediante métodos de la mecánica cuántica. Dichos métodos se presentan en forma suscinta, de acuerdo a la aplicación que de ellos se hace en el presente trabajo.
