Investigation of the variables that govern user behaviors related to e-crime attacksAlhussein, Nawras January 2020 (has links)
The users´ behaviors play an important role in securing information systems. At the same time, the users´ bad behaviors end-up in making them victims to e-crime attacks. To emphasize the positive side of users´ behaviors, the reasons for the bad behaviors must be investigated. In this research, e-crimes on users in Sweden were studied using the protection motivation theory and the theory of planned behavior in order to understand what variables govern the user behaviors. The information retrieved from the literature review and the web survey were used to answer the research question about which variables within the two used theories affect the user behaviors in connection to e-crimes. It turned out that perceived vulnerability, perceived severity, and user-efficacy have significant effect on the selected user behavior. Besides, the analysis of the results showed that IT/IS-knowledge is a determinant factor that affects all the variables of the protection motivation theory.

Problematika chyby a chybování se zřetelem k výuce francouzštiny jako dalšího cizího jazyka na základní škole / Error in the point of view of the French as a second foreign language in the lower secondary school contextKlinka, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
Title: Error in the point of view of the French as a second foreign language in the lower secondary school context Author: Mgr. Tomáš Klinka Department: Department of Pedagogy Supervisor: Doc. PhDr. Marie Fenclová, CSc. Abstract: This thesis focuses on the subject of error in the context of Czech lower secondary school and second foreign language (L3) instruction. This work has three purposes: first, to complete the basic literature in this domain using the publications issued from the French speaking world of educational research that are not quoted in the Czech academic field. Second, to analyze how the elements that intervene in the pedagogical process treat the question of error, and third, using the conclusions obtained, to make explicit the problems which pose the present treatment of the question of error and to indicate the direction of a future research in this domain. So as to attain the first goal, we propose and comment the work of some French specialists in the field of educational science and their conclusions, mainly the typology of errors created by Astolfi. As for the second goal, our thesis provides an analysis of the official regulations concerning teaching and learning in the Czech Republic, exposes the mental representations of error with which both students and teachers...

A critical appraisal of the decision in Sonap v Pappadogianis 1992 (3) SA 234 (A), with reference to the basis of contractual liability in South African law and various other legal systemsSteyn, Lienne 11 1900 (has links)
In Sonap Petroleum (formerly known as Sonarep) (SA) (Pty) Ltd v Pappadog1an1s
1992 (3) SA 234 (A) the Appellate Division apparently approved the direct
application of the reliance theory, without reference to prejudice or fault, to
determine contractual liability in the absence of consensus.
The various approaches to contractual liability in South African law are
examined, and a comparative study of English law and the law of the Netherlands
is conducted.
It is submitted that the element of fault is not crucial to the enquiry, but
rather, the elements of conduct , inducement and a reasonable reliance upon
consensus. It is concluded that the test for contractual liability in the absence
of actual consensus, as formula ted by the court in Sonap's case, without
reference to prejudice or fault, has established sound precedent in South African
law. / Criminal and Procedural Law / LL.M.

Reliance protection as the basis of contractual liabilityJethro, Paul John Daniel 11 1900 (has links)
It is traditionally accepted that the basis of contractual liability is either consensus, that is the actual meeting of the
minds of the contractants, or the reasonable belief by one contractants that there is consensus. In this paper the various approaches to contractual liability are examined. The conclusion that is reached is that the direct
application of reliance protecti~n can -effectively serve as the basis of contractual liability in our law today. It is submitted that the elements to found contractual liability are representation or conduct, unducement; a reasonable reliance upon consensus, and detriment or prejudice. It is forcefully argued that although blameworthiness (fault) may play a substantial role in determining whether reliance upon consensus should be protected, it is not the decisive element to the enquiry: rather regard should be had to all the surrounding circumstances relating to the
contractual relationship. / Private Law / LL.M.

We indtroduce a plentifully used communicative method for teaching foreign languagues and discribe four basic language skills. Key words: communicative method, basic language skills, written discourse, written communication, mistake, classification of mistakes, causes of mistakes, evaluation of mistakes.

Spolupráce inovativních škol s rodinou na počátku školní docházky / Cooperation between the innovative schools and families at the start attendanceOlivíková, Romana January 2013 (has links)
This work's aim is to chart the extent and the actual forms of cooperation between innovative schools and families at the beginning of school attendance. In this case, innovative school is defined as a school that teaches children to read by the genetic method or that teaches the children in the primary school the Fraus mathematics by authors Hejný, Jirotková, Slezáková-Kratochvílová, Michnová. In the theoretical part, I find out the principles on which both the new concept of Fraus mathematics and the genetic method of reading are based, and I make a link between them and the constructivist conception of teaching as well as the teacher's competences. In a wider context, this work discusses the work with mistake and emphasizes the significance of creativity. In the practical part, I used the method of written questionnaire to find out the actual forms of cooperation between these schools and families before and after the children enter the first class. Also, the questionnaire finds out what are the teachers' crucial urges to change the way of teaching of mathematics and reading as well as what is the positive of this change in the teacher's view.

Är det mänskligt att fela? Synen på misstag och disciplinpåföljder i militär flygverksamhet och i hälso- och sjukvårdens verksamhet. / Is it human to fail? The view of mistakesand disciplinary sanktions in military aviation and in health and medical service.Lagerstedt, Marianne January 2002 (has links)

In the essay, the view of mistakes and disciplinary sanctions within the military aviation and health and medical service, are compared. The comparison shows that military aviation and health and medical service could have several points in common on how mistakes may occur, but that the present view of mistakes is different betwen the sectors. The view of mistakes and disciplinary sanctions is explicit within military aviation, and is based on a clear ideology on how mistakes occur, which is characterised of a systematic approach. Within health and medical service, an explicit and unequivocal ideology on how mistakes occur is missing, but, however, there are implicit ideas about infallibility and perfection. The comparison indicates that the view of mistakes is also, possibly directed by a bureaucratic model (instead of an ideology on mistakes), which aims to legitimacy, but that this may happen on the expense of not taking surrounding circumstances into consideration. In that way there may be a certain contrast in the health and medical service’s present system between rule of law and medical service safety.

Žákovské strategie řešení úloh na ZŠ a SŠ / Pupils' problem solving strategies at lower and upper secondary levelHoffmann, Jan January 2018 (has links)
This thesis Pupils' problem solving strategies at lower and upper secondary level brings a focus on the issue outlined by the name. At the same time, it focuses on pupils' strategies to solve problems that are closely related to information literacy. At first I define basic terms for the area of word problems. Consecutively I focus on the theoretical knowledge from the area of problem solving strategies themselves. The content of the experimental part of the thesis is the survey of pupils' solutions of eight selected tasks, by which I was looking for an answer of the three basic questions of this thesis. My experiment is divided into two branches. The first branch of the experiment took place at the lower level of the multi-year grammar schools. The second branch of the experiment took place at the higher grade of the multi-year grammar schools and, to a small extent, at the secondary school. The theoretical part contains views of various authors on issue of problems and word problems. I present and compare these individual approaches. The result is the demarcation of the terms needed for the experimental part of the work. The main aim of the experimental part of the thesis is to find the answers of three basic questions of this thesis, where I was using data from lower and higher grades of...
