The costs of patient care reached a new height. Poor management of patient
flows in hospitals lead to unnecessary waiting time, a low degree of capacity utilization and expensive needless treatments. In the beginning of this paper a shortly overview of health care optimization research is shown, which leads to the implementation of interdisciplinary clinical pathways to improve the patient flow. Based on this the structure of scheduling focused clinical pathways is described. After that, a mixed integer linear programming model is shown, which is able to schedule these pathways. In the end the model is verified by an instance of a clinical pathway.

Der Chirurg in einem modernen Operationssaal kann auf die Funktionen einer Vielzahl technischer, seine Arbeit unterstützender, Geräte zugreifen. Diese Geräte und damit auch die Funktionen, die diese zur Verfügung stellen, sind nur unzureichend miteinander vernetzt.
Die unzureichende Interoperabilität der Geräte bezieht sich dabei nicht nur auf den Austausch von Daten untereinander, sondern auch auf das Fehlen eines zentralen Wissens über den gesamten Ablauf des chirurgischen Prozesses. Es werden daher Systeme benötigt, die Prozessmodelle verarbeiten und damit globales Wissen über den Prozess zur Verfügung stellen können.
Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Prozessen, die in der Wirtschaft durch Workflow Management-Systeme (WfMS) unterstützt werden, ist der chirurgische Prozess durch eine hohe Variabilität gekennzeichnet. Mittlerweile gibt es viele Ansätze feingranulare, hochformalisierte Modelle des chirurgischen Prozesses zu erstellen. In dieser Arbeit wird zum einen die Qualität eines, auf patienten individuellen Eingriffen basierenden, generalisierten Modells hinsichtlich der Abarbeitung durch ein WfMS untersucht, zum anderen werden die Voraussetzungen die, die vorgelagerten Systeme erfüllen müssen geprüft. Es wird eine Aussage zur Abbruchrate der Pfadverfolgung im generalisierten Modell gemacht, das durch eine unterschiedliche Anzahl von patientenindividuellen Modellen erstellt wurde. Zudem wird die Erfolgsrate zum Wiederfinden des Prozesspfades im Modell ermittelt. Presented dissertation thesis has focused on the project management; its objective has been to achieve set main goal applying used methodology, i.e., to propose a model of management of project financial flows. The pre-requisite of achievement of said main goal has been the primary research undertaken in the monitored area of processing industry, following criteria established in advance. These criteria have been formulated in particular in harmony with the evaluation of current condition of given issue both in the Czech Republic and abroad; furthermore, by interviews made in qualitative research, the verification of which has applied the combination of quantitative and qualitative research, as well as statistical verification of formulated hypotheses. On the basis of such acquired and verified data the model of management of project financial flows has been generated based, among others, on the application of so-called system approach, the pre-requisite of which has been the optimization of managerial approach and decision-making reflected in the process of budget creation in mutual links with three-imperative during project planning.

Objetivo. Este trabalho está inserido no campo de estudos do processo de implantação do Sistema Único de Saúde, tendo como referência um dos seus princípios básicos, o da descentralização da gestão para o poder municipal. Para tanto foi escolhido o município de São José dos Campos, no Estado de São Paulo, por sua participação ativa no processo da Reforma Sanitária no sentido de formulação e implantação do SUS e sua habilitação como gestor do Sistema Municipal de Saúde na condição de gestão semi-plena, em final de 1994, conforme os termos da Norma Operacional Básica SUS n° 1/93 (NOB SUS n° 1/93). O pressuposto básico é o de que os termos da NOB SUS n° 1/93, na medida em que exigia requisitos e conferia responsabilidades e prerrogativas para o gestor municipal, era uma estratégia válida para implementar o processo de implantação do SUS, dando concretitude aos princípios e diretrizes do mesmo. Método. A metodologia adotada para este estudo é a de um Estudo de Caso Único, e tem como referencial teórico ou conceitual a Pesquisa Avaliativa, nas categorias de Análise da Implantação e Análise dos Efeitos, envolvendo o eixo das mudanças estruturais e organizacionais visando o modelo de gestão e o eixo das mudanças no processo de trabalho, visando o Modelo de Atenção. Foi analisado basicamente o período de 1993 a 1997 e como fontes de dados foram utilizados dados documentais, como relatórios de gestão, planos municipais de Saúde, atos administrativos, além de entrevistas com os Secretários Municipais de Saúde do período e o DATA/SUS - Ministério da Saúde, com os seus Sistemas de Informação Ambulatorial (SIA/SUS) e de Internação Hospitalar (SIH/SUS). Resultados. O estudo concluiu que efetivamente ocorreram mudanças tanto na dimensão do Modelo de Gestão como no do Modelo de Atenção, como resultado de um esforço municipal que vinha ocorrendo e que foi potencializado em função da habilitação do município na gestão semi-plena do sistema, nos termos da NOB SUS nº 1/93. Por outro lado, o estudo, nos termos de sua concepção metodológica, poderá ser referencial para a realização de outros estudos neste campo temático. / Objective. Results. The topic of the diploma thesis is the models for decision support of the management of tourism destination. This is an important topic in tourism all over the world, as tourism destination management is a complex, multidisciplinary and often inflated question. The complexity of the structure and the number of stakeholders is also the reason for being important in today's modern times. Because of the complexity of the whole topic, it is often difficult to grasp the theme as a whole and to consistently explain all the existing variables. At the same time, a number of inaccuracies and errors are generated in connection with the management of the tourist destination. The work uncovers the basic structure of relationships in the destination of tourism and attempts to outline the functioning of the tourism destination management as a whole. The benefit of the thesis is to update the model created by Ing. Petrem Štumpfem Ph.D. in his dissertation work. Another benefit of this work is the generation of scenarios of the likely and anticipated development of the tourist destination of Southern Bohemia.

Model dynamiky lidských zdrojů v projektovém řízení / Dynamic model of human resources in project managementHančar, Michal January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is focused on dynamics of soft factors influencing workers during projects. These factors include motivation, workplace atmosphere, team synergy of workers and their emotions, and attribute of project manager who manages the project. Identification of soft factors and their relationships was achieved by examination of scientific literature in psychology and system dynamics. Description of managing project matters was achieved by examination of scientific literature dealing with project management. The main objective of this thesis is to create a dynamic model which simulates behavior of these soft factors influencing the project staff. The primary metric of the model is efficiency of workers participating on the project based on input parameters. Validation of the model was achieved by verification of historic behavior of key elements. Results of validation experiments correspond with historic behavior with roughly 95 % accuracy. At the end of this thesis is presented an ICT project case study. Based on the results of simulation experiments is performed a scenario analysis which tries to bring possible suggestions for project management.
