Les contradictions dans La belle au bois dormant de Charles Perrault : une étude de la morale et de la moralité / Contradictions in "La belle au bois dormant" by Charles Perrault : a study of morals and morality

Ryrholm, Maria January 2018 (has links)
Storytelling has existed since the beginning of humanity, in every culture. Today, we are still telling stories that are hundreds of years old. Sleeping Beauty, or La belle au bois dormant, is a classic fairy-tale. In the original version by Charles Perrault it is a story in two parts with a morality poem in the end. In this work, the relation between the story and the lessons that can be drawn from it and its final morality are examined. The aim of this work is to find out if the morality confirms or contradicts the story in La belle au bois dormant, and in what way, and secondly if La belle au bois dormant fulfil our expectations of a fairy tale. In order to give a deeper understanding of the key words, fairy-tale, as a genre, and the role of moral in literature two books aimed for literary education in French schools are used. By defining fairy-tale as a genre and the role of moral messages in literature, they can be compared to our story. Furthermore, by using examples from the story and analysing the story and the morality poem of Sleeping Beauty respectively, thus this essay spreads light on the contradicting messages in this fairy-tale. At the end of this work the conclusion is reached that the morality poem is not in any way confirmed by the story and that the two differ in terms of theme, content, and message, and thus La belle au bois dormant differ from traditional fairy tales because its morality does not support the story.

Perspectives complémentaires de l'éthique organisationnelle / Complementary approaches to organizational ethics

Mandalaki, Emmanouela 26 April 2017 (has links)
Recent research demonstrates that, in ethically relevant tasks, individuals base intentionality judgments on action outcomes, rather than mental states only. In a first place, the current thesis extends those findings to responsibility judgments and examines affective and attitudinal characteristics moderating the relationship between outcomes and moral judgment. At a second place, the current thesis discusses ethical organizational activity with a focus on intensified ethical behavior enacted following involvement in heavy unethical activity. In so doing, the current thesis intends to problematize the extent to which motivation behind such organizational attitudes is genuinely trying to compensate for the negative effects of organizational wrong-doing. At the same time, the current thesis examines human perception of the above mentioned organizational efforts to compensate for corporate malfeasance. We discuss the implications of our findings for understanding ethical decision making and ethical judgments, offering theoretical directions for future research and managerial implications.

Factors that promote the level of job satisfaction among school educators: an education management perspective

Maforah, Tsholofelo Pauline 11 1900 (has links)
In this dissertation the findings of a survey on 100 inner-city independent school educators, concerning the factors that affect the level of job satisfaction are presented. It was found that educators derive most of their job satisfaction from interpersonal relationships. Dissatisfaction was mainly the result of low salaries, low status in the community, poor facilities and lack of security. Most of the educators were looking for alternative employment and regarded employment in public schools as a much better option. Recommendations were made to principals on how to improve the factors that affect the level of job satisfaction for educators. / Educational Studies / MED (EDUC MANAGEMENT)

Le consentement de la personne morale / The consent of the legal entity

François, Samuel 09 October 2018 (has links)
The legal entity can give its consent only through its management bodies. The latter's functions are to express the social wishes by exercising their powers that have be attributed to them by law or by statutes. This specific measure, which is inherent to the radical abstraction that characterizes the legal entity, too often leads to the idea that the consent of the legal entity is reduced to an act of representation and thus leads to assessing this consent in its representing bodies. We have, first of all, analysed the special feature of the consent in light of the legal entity (First Part) through Iwo essential componants: the decision making on the one hand, the act of representation on the other hand. The consent of the legal entity proves to be far more than one single act of representation and actually a structured organic process in which the decision making phase holds an essential spot. We have then, second of ail, analysed the legal aspect of the consent suited to the legal entity (Second Part). After studying the implementing provisions of the usual features - individuality and integrity - that the consent of a legal entity needs to take on, we have raised the original functions that this consent is susceptible to fulfill. I the consent of the legal entity is always the expression of the social interest, other functions can also be assigned to it. Thus it can actually be a vector of good corporate governance practices.
