Tvingad implementering av digital undervisning

Malmgren, Rickard, Malmgren, Fredrik January 2020 (has links)
Nyckelord: Zoom, Canvas, digital undervisning / AbstractHow is learning affected by a forced implementation of digital education? This study is about examining how the conditions for achieving high quality in teaching are affected by a forced implementation of digital teaching, from the perspective of students and teachers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the situation of a forced implementation at Malmö University. By using interviews as a method, we will find out how such a situation is experienced by compiling teachers and students opinions. The interviewers have stated that the contact between the teacher and the students is an important part of teaching that can be affected in different ways. Among other things, this can lead to a decrease in motivation and commitment. Examinations and a lot of stress in the daily work can lead to not having the time to adapt the normal teaching to the digital, which can lead to students not understanding. This does not mean that it is not possible to have a digital education at Malmö University, but only that you need time to prepare and adapt the education to the systems and platforms that exist. The Effects of Response Set on the Structured-Objective Rorschach Test

Moody, Richard Y. 01 May 1967 (has links)
The normal forced-choice Structured-Objective Rorschach Test (SORT) and a modified free-choice SORT were administered to sixty high school students to determine the effects of response set (e.g. social desirability). The results were inconclusive. The following trends, however, were observed: (1) The free-choice modification was more resistant to response set distortion than the normal forced-choice SORT. (2) The free-choice administration showed greater flexibility in enhancement and resistance to social desirability. (3) There was little sex difference in factor scores with respect to choice administration. Females, however, gave more responses than males on the free-choice SORT.

Internal Displacement in Colombia: Violence, Resettlement, and Resistance

Zea, Juan Esteban 01 January 2010 (has links)
The majority of the estimated four million internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Colombia who have fled from their lands and homes have migrated to urban centers. This study, performed in Bogotá, Colombia between April and September 2009, examines how IDPs cope with living in a new, urban environment after violent displacement. I held interviews with IDPs, the non-displaced public, and government workers; performed participant-observation in government offices and neighborhoods; and examined archival material. The work examines cultural anthropological topics of violence, migration, and resistance. A discussion of state and structural violence reveals the current hardships many rural Colombians face. Analysis shows that symbolic violence manifests itself through 'othering' narratives and practices, which affect how IDPs resettle in Bogotá. The research demonstrates how IDPs' practices challenge state bureaucracy and government workers and refute the non-displaced public's stereotypes. IDPs agency both reproduces and transforms social structures in the city of Bogotá. I discuss how collective IDP agency leads to actions of resistance through public marches and takeovers. This research contributes to the field of anthropology by highlighting relations between power structures and individuals, examining how IDPs experience and resist symbolic violence, and demonstrating how IDPs create new identities in situations of forced migration.

Energeticky úsporná budova materskej školy v Poleradoch / Low-energy building of kindergarten in Polerady

Pflieglerová, Karolína January 2022 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to create project documentation for a low-energy kindergarten in Polerady. The building has one floor with a flat green roof. The layout of the kindergarten is divided into two units, which contain two classes with facilities. The thesis consists of three parts. Part A consists of documentation for the building permission. The kindergarten is designed for 30 children and is divided into two units. Part B consists of the design of building services. The building uses LED lighting, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, two heat pumps are designed for heating, which are connected to floor heating and hot water tank, on the roof of the building there are 30 photovoltaic panels. The energy produced from the panels is consumed by all appliances in the building. Part C, after creating another building energy performance certificate, compares two types of heat source. The floor heating scheme is created by calculating the heat losses of the rooms, using the DekSoft program.

To risk violating another person's dignity : A literature review on coercive measures in psychiatric round-the-clock care from the nurse perspective.

Holmberg, Maria, Engström, Nadja January 2022 (has links)

Winkilab: Light and Migration: a communication tool in emergency situations

Isaac Membrila, Ana Karen January 2022 (has links)
This thesis explores the topic of light and migration and what actions through light can be done to improve the life quality of the inhabitants of temporary shelters/refugee camps. In this ambiance where there is the feeling of pain, destruction, unsafety, uncertainty and limited access to basic needs, only relying on the support of institutions. A wide range of needs need to be covered, however this thesis proposes to aid the migrants’ when they reach a refugee camp by the creation of Winkilab, a light post that becomes a universal communication tool and function simultaneously as light therapy to have a positive impact on the migrant’s emotions.

Forced response numerical investigation of a transonic compressor rotor

Dias, Mariana Pires Gonçalves Toco January 2023 (has links)
The present thesis discusses the forced response of a rotor’s bladed-disk when excited by the periodic force produced by a wake generator, or Inlet Guide Vane (IGV),with 8 equally-spaced blades. These components are part of an axial transonic compressor rig, moreover the Transonic Compressor Darmstadt 1 (TCD1), located at the Technical University of Darmstadt. The investigation is within the ARIAS (Advanced Research Into Aeromechanical Solutions) project, that aims to improve the predictive capabilities of the design methods used in the aircraft propulsion engine’s industry to study aerodynamically induced blade vibrations. The methodology comprised a set of numerical analyses that were conducted using the software Ansys, addressing both the structural and the aerodynamics sides of the aeroelastic problem, in a co-dependent way. At first, steady-state CFD simulations were conducted to study the mesh convergence and to analyse the operation of the compressor at N80 speed, obtaining its compressor map and its peak efficiency operation point. From these, the aerodynamic static force being applied on theblade was obtained, allowing to determine the pre-stresses of the bladed-disk, orblisk. With a modal analysis, the natural modes of the rotor blisk at N80 speed were obtained and the resonance crossing M2 EO8 was identified, plotting the Campbell and ZZENF diagrams. From the modal displacements of the critical mode, a blade flutter analysis was conducted in order to compute the aerodynamic damping ratio of the rotor blisk. With a transient CFD analysis, the periodic forcing being applied onthe rotor blisk that arises from the IGV wake pattern was determined and exported as Fourier coefficients. Finally, a harmonic simulation was carried out to analyse the forced response of the blisk, introducing both the aerodynamic damping value and the unsteady forcing mapped onto the blade. As a result, the frequency response of both the blade maximum alternating deflections and equivalent stresses was obtained, as well as the respective spatial contour plots at the obtained resonance frequency. Some of the results of the conducted analyses were investigated in order to analyse the aerodynamic phenomena occurring, where it was possible to identify vortex shedding, leading shock, tip-clearance and horse-shoe vortex.  Afterwards, the numerical results were compared to the experimental data optained from rig tests conducted at the TCD1 by partners of the ARIAS projects. The numerical model management to predict well the compressor map, thus the steady-state of the flow, as well as the resonance frequency. The aerodynamic damping value was over- predicted when compared to the entire data set. When it came to the harmonic analysis results, the numerical model under-predicted by one order of magnitude the maximum deflection, and the equivalent stress is, as well, far below the experimental results. These results led to conclude that the model is under-predicting the aerodynamix unsteady forcing that results from the wake pattern generated by the IGV and excites the rotor blades.
