Este trabajo fue realizado para cubrir una necesidad que hoy en día tiene mucha importancia en las personas, el cual es tener un mejor estilo de vida mediante una buena ingesta de comida saludable. Para ello, se identificó, mediante una investigación hecha a un grupo de personas interesadas en estos cambios, que habían dos inconvenientes muy puntuales para que puedan vivir con este nuevo proceso y cambios en sus vidas. Se trata del factor tiempo para poder prepararse el tipo de comida que hoy en día necesitarían para mejorar su estilo de vida y el conocimiento sobre ello para saber adecuadamente las porciones e ingredientes que deberían considerar. A raíz de ese hallazgo es que vimos una oportunidad de hacer un modelo de negocio que cubra con cada punto hallado en la investigación con la finalidad de entregar un servicio que cubra la necesidad de estas personas. Por ello, creamos NUTRIVA, un modelo de negocio sofisticado el cual consiste en brindar un servicio de delivery de comida saludable mediante paquetes mensuales por medio un aplicativo móvil muy sofisticado que servirá para brindarte consejos de alimentación, planes alimenticios diarios, monitoreo y seguimiento de tu desempeño, entre muchas otras asesorías con relación a comer saludable y estar informado sobre todo lo que se debe saber para estar en forma mediante un equipo de nutricionistas. / This project was done to cover a need that today is very important in people, which is to have a better lifestyle through a good intake of healthy food. To do this, it was identified, through an investigation made to a group of people interested in these changes, that there were two very specific inconveniences so that they could live with this new process and changes in their lives. It is about the time factor to be able to prepare the type of food that today they would need to improve their lifestyle and the knowledge about it to know adequately the portions and ingredients that they should consider. Following this finding is that we saw an opportunity to make a business model that covers each point found in the investigation in order to deliver a service that meets the need of these people. Historicamente, no curso de Nutrição, há supervalorização dos aspectos técnicos em detrimento dos aspectos sociais e humanos. Dados da literatura recomendam modificações nos projetos pedagógicos a fim de possibilitar a compreensão dos alunos sobre seu papel enquanto educadores e não meramente transmissores de conhecimentos ou executores de tarefas técnicas. A Educação Nutricional apresenta-se como uma das disciplinas mais relevantes para essa formação nos cursos de graduação em Nutrição. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi descrever a dinâmica de desenvolvimento da disciplina Educação Nutricional nos cursos de Nutrição, a fim de subsidiar a melhoria da formação dos futuros nutricionistas. Foram utilizadas as abordagens quantitativa e qualitativa. A primeira foi utilizada na etapa inicial da pesquisa, sob a forma de questionário, enviado aos coordenadores do curso de Nutrição de todas as Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) do Estado de São Paulo, totalizando 62, das quais, 23 o responderam. A segunda etapa foi realizada nas IES que apresentaram reconhecimento pelo Ministério da Educação até o ano de 1999, quando foram realizadas entrevistas com as professoras da disciplina Educação Nutricional, totalizando 10 Instituições e 11 entrevistas, uma vez que em uma delas havia duas docentes. A análise dos resultados da primeira fase foi quantitativo-descritiva e, da segunda fase, qualitativa, empregando-se a técnica da hermenêutica-dialética, que busca a interpretação da fala do sujeito dentro da sua realidade social e a compreensão do texto no contexto sócio-cultural. Foram obtidos dados referentes ao curso (reconhecimento, categoria administrativa, oferta de vagas, número de egressos e período de funcionamento), à disciplina (objetivos, cargas horárias, bibliografia utilizada, formas de avaliação propostas e as diferentes formas de pensamento das docentes sobre a disciplina abordando a relação teoria-prática e a relação professor-aluno) além da formação complementar dos sujeitos de pesquisa. Concluiu-se que não há uma delimitação teórica para a disciplina Educação Nutricional, porém o estudo realizado aponta para um processo embrionário de construção teórica em torno do pensamento pedagógico de Paulo Freire / Abstract: This work has been developed in the Work ¿ Health ¿ Education line of research and is linked to the A3EN Group - Group of Support, Improvement and Update in Nutrition Education. Historically in Nutrition courses, there is an over valuation of technical aspects comparing to social and human aspects. Literature recommends modifications in pedagogical projects to make possible students¿ understanding about their roles as educators and not only mere knowledge transmitters or technical tasks executers. Nutrition Education represents one of the most relevant subjects to Nutrition graduation. The research objective was to describe the developing dynamics of the Nutrition Education subject at Nutrition courses to subsidize the future nutritionists¿ formation improvement. Quantitative and qualitative methods were employed. The first one is used in the initial part of the research, as a questionnaire sent to the Nutrition¿s coordinators of all Superior Teaching Institutions of the State of São Paulo in a total of 62 of which 23 answered it. The second part was done at the Superior Teaching Institutions that have been registered at the Education Ministry until 1999, when the interviews with the subject¿s professors were made in a total of 10 institutions and 11 interviews, because in one of them there were two professors. The results analyses of the first part were qualitative ¿ descriptive and of the second part qualitative, using the hermeneutic ¿ dialectic technique, that searches the interpretation of the speech of the professors within their social reality and the text comprehension in a context socialcultural. It were obtained data about the courses (recognition, administrative category, vacancies availability, number of egresses and working periods), about the subject (objectives, timetable, bibliography used, evaluation ways proposed and different ways of thoughts of the professors about the subject approaching through the theory-practice and the professor-student¿s relationship apart from the complementary formation of the professors. These actions are directly or indirectly related to food , requiring the insertion of a nutritionist in Primary Health The aim of this study was to analyze the academic performance and nutritionists professionals of the Centers of Support for Family Health of the State of Goiás, from the perspective of the researched, with a descriptive, exploratory, cross-sectional. For data collection we used a self-administered questionnaire with open and closed questions to characterize and study the academic and professional performance of the nutritionists. The data was tabulated in Excel and made a descriptive analysis of variables. The participants were 22 nutritionists , female , representing 88 % of the nutritionists from Centers of Support for Family Health of the State of Goiás. From these , 59.1 % had less than three years of graduation; 13.6 % had made a specialization in Health Family , 27.3 % felt qualified to work professionally with reflection on the socioeconomic , political and cultural territory. Regarding performance, 80 % are hired temporarily, 36.4 % worked for less than a year, 18.2 % were trained before the start of activities and 59.1 % felt somewhat qualified for working on the Centers of Support for Family Health. On the professional practice, (9.1%) nutritionists argued over a matrix model meetings and references used on the tool. Teamwork was appointed as facilitator of actions performed (40.9 %), and no knowledge of the role of Centers of Support for Family Health as a factor that hinders (31.8 %). The nutritionists from Centers of Support for Family Health of the State of Goiás have little professional experience and qualifications to work in family health. Have difficulties to understand the local reality. The form of entrance affects the bond between the professionals and the public. The matrix model was just highlighted in meetings and theoretical support. There is need for more studies on the Centers of Support for Family Health. / O modelo de Atenção à Saúde no Brasil prioriza ações de promoção, prevenção, controle e tratamento de agravos à saúde dos indivíduos e da família de forma integral e contínua. Estas ações estão relacionadas direta ou indiretamente com a alimentação, sendo necessária a inserção do nutricionista na Atenção Básica à Saúde. O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a formação acadêmica e atuação profissional de nutricionistas de Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família do Estado de Goiás, sob a perspectiva dos pesquisados, por meio de estudo descritivo e exploratório, de corte transversal. Para coleta de dados foi utilizado um questionário autoaplicável, com questões abertas e fechadas para caracterizar os nutricionistas e estudar sua formação acadêmica e atuação profissional. Os dados foram organizados no Programa Microsoft Excel e foi realizada análise descritiva de variáveis. Participaram da pesquisa 22 nutricionistas, do sexo feminino, representando 88% do total de nutricionistas dos Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família de Goiás. Destas, 59,1% possuíam menos de três anos de formadas; 13,6% fizeram especialização em Saúde da Família, e apenas 27,3% sentiram-se capacitadas para atuar profissionalmente com reflexão sobre a realidade socioeconômica, política e cultural do território. Em relação à atuação, 81,8% foram contratadas temporariamente; 36,4% atuavam há menos de um ano; 18,2% foram capacitados antes do início das atividades e 59,1% se sentiam pouco capacitadas para trabalharem nos Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família. No exercício profissional 9,1% nutricionistas afirmaram discutir sobre matriciamento nas reuniões e utilizavam referências sobre a ferramenta. O trabalho em equipe foi apontado como facilitador das ações realizadas (50%), e o não conhecimento do papel dos Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família como um fator dificultador (36,4%). Os nutricionistas de Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família de Goiás possuem pouca experiência profissional e qualificação para atuação em saúde da família. Apresentam dificuldades para compreender a realidade local. A forma de ingresso compromete o vínculo entre os profissionais e a população. O matriciamento foi pouco destacado em reuniões e como suporte teórico. Há necessidade de mais estudos sobre os Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família, por ser um campo recente de atuação multiprofissional, necessitando de avaliações e adequações para garantir seus objetivos e a integralidade do cuidado da população.

Alimentação escolar: percepções dos atores sociais de escolas de um município da região metropolina de São Paulo / School Feeding: perceptions of the social actors of schools in a city in the metropolitan region of São Paulo [

Introdução: O Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar é um dos mais antigos programas na área da alimentação, visa atender parcialmente as necessidades nutricionais dos alunos, contribuindo para o seu crescimento e desenvolvimento, e promover a formação de hábitos alimentares saudáveis. Objetivo: Analisar as percepções atribuídas por atores da comunidade escolar à alimentação escolar. Métodos: O estudo do tipo descritivo com abordagem qualitativa foi desenvolvido em escolas públicas do ensino fundamental do município de Guarulhos, São Paulo. Dentre as 63 escolas ativas em 2007, a partir da combinação de indicadores de condições socioeconômica da região, processo produtivo local e tamanho das escolas, selecionou-se uma amostra de 13 instituições. Para coleta de dados com as crianças utilizou-se a técnica do desenho. Enquanto com as merendeiras e profissionais do núcleo pedagógico aplicou-se o grupo focal, e para a equipe técnica a entrevista em grupo. As informações foram tratadas de acordo com a análise de conteúdo e discutidas com referencial teórico sobre o tema. Resultados e Discussão: Participaram do estudo 82 crianças, 22 merendeiras, 9 profissionais do núcleo pedagógico e 4 da equipe técnica. Foram identificadas percepções da alimentação escolar alicerçadas em três aspectos: do alimento, do ambiente e das relações sociais. As percepções dos atores eram concebidas de acordo com o núcleo de trabalho a que pertenciam, influenciadas pelas atribuições e funções desempenhadas pelo grupo no âmbito escolar. Apesar das diretrizes do programa apresentarem-se bem definidas, para esses grupos, na prática, demonstraramse segmentadas. Considerações Finais: Algumas questões identificadas deixaram claras as potencialidades que o programa tem para atender os objetivos propostos, no entanto, outras apontam entraves que dificultam reconhecê-lo como um programa de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional. Para que essas potencialidades sejam desenvolvidas e os entraves superados, um dos desafios, entre outros, é possibilitar ações de integração, de compartilhamento real do entendimento acerca da alimentação escolar, considerando os diferentes atores que permeiam esse momento, de forma a reconhecer estas dimensões conjuntamente / Introduction: The National Program of School Feeding is one of the oldest programs in the food area, and seeks to partially fulfill the students\' nutritional needs, contributing to its growth and development, and to promote the formation of healthy food habits. Objective: Analyze the perceptions attributed by players from the school community to school feeding. Methods: The study of descriptive type with a qualitative approach was developed in public elementary schools in the city of Guarulhos, São Paulo. Among the 63 active schools in 2007, from a combination of indicators of the region\'s socioeconomic conditions, local productive process and size of the schools, a sample of 13 institutions was selected. For data collection with the children the drawing technique was used. While with the school meal cooks and the pedagogical core the focus group was applied, and for the technical team a group interview. The information was treated according to a content analysis and discussed with theoretical referential about the matter. Results and Discussion: Eighty-two children, 22 school meal cooks, 9 pedagogical core professionals and 4 from the technical team participated in the study. School feeding perception were identified based on three aspects: the food, the environment and the social relationships. The players\' perceptions were conceived according to the work core they belonged to, influenced by the attributions and functions performed by the group in the school environment. Despite the program\'s guidelines being well defined, for these groups, in practice, they show to be segmented. Final Considerations: Some matters identified made clear the potentialities that the program has to fulfill the objectives proposed, other point out barriers that make it hard to acknowledge it as a Nutritional and Food Security program. For these potentialities to be developed and the barriers overcome, one of the challenges, among others, is to make integration actions possible, of real sharing of knowledge about school meals, considering the different players that permeate this moment, in a manner to acknowledge these dimensions as a whole

Nutrition Needs Assessment for Women of Childbearing Age with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disorder that affects women’s menstrual cycles, androgen (male hormones) levels, and cysts on the ovaries. This endocrine disorder has various symptoms, with insulin resistance as a hallmark symptom. Approximately 65-70% of women with PCOS have insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia, whether or not they are overweight, obese, or lean (Marshall & Dunaif, 2012). Many women with PCOS struggle to lose weight because their excess weight is related to nutrition, lifestyle factors, and imbalanced hormones. Understanding PCOS as a metabolic disorder with nutritional implications led to investigating the potential benefit of having registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN) as part of the healthcare team of women with PCOS. We developed a survey based on the literature on PCOS, diet/nutrition interventions, and the role of RDNs in the healthcare team of PCOS women of childbearing age. Only childbearing-age women (18–44) diagnosed with PCOS were eligible to complete the survey. The survey was designed as a needs assessment to determine if women with PCOS are routinely referred to RDNs for support; whether or not such support is beneficial; and what gaps in knowledge or misconceptions about nutrition and PCOS exist among participants. Most importantly, it was designed to examine if women understand how nutrition relates to managing their PCOS symptoms and future disease risks. The data from this survey shows the need for RDNs on the healthcare team of women with PCOS and gives us an understanding of nutrition education interventions that could be developed for future studies. Understanding how RDNs play a role in symptom management could lead to a better quality of life for women with PCOS.
