Este trabalho consiste na investigação das representações da cidade do Rio de Janeiro no jornal O Globo durante o processo de escolha da sede dos Jogos Olímpicos 2016, entre os anos de 2008 e 2009. Observa-se que a cidade é objeto de diferentes discursos como o jornalístico. Considera-se que os megaeventos esportivos são um tipo de espetáculo nas grandes cidades e configuram, assim, espaços urbanos atrativos. Neste sentido, procura-se compreender como um dos principais jornais do Rio articula ideias e gera representações sobre a cidade em suas reportagens. Para analisar o processo de comunicação no jornal, utiliza-se o referencial teórico da construção social da realidade e, para a investigação das reportagens que abordam a candidatura do Rio para sediar os Jogos Olímpicos, utiliza-se o método da análise de conteúdo. O estudo revela que a representação da cidade do Rio, neste período analisado, demarca o rompimento de antigas crenças sobre este lugar. Desta forma, as reportagens reforçam a ideia de uma cidade do futuro, transformada, com novos espaços: uma cidade global. / This paper aims to investigate the representations of the city of Rio de Janeiro in the newspaper O Globo during the process of choosing the home of the Olympic Games 2016, between the years of 2008 and 2009. Dans le cadre d'une recherche empirique sur les styles de jeu des différentes nations en volley-ball, nous avons recueilli des données sur diverses compétitions internationales. Notre objectif était de modéliser et rationaliser notre activité à travers la construction d'un outil de feedback vidéo qui nous a permis d'analyser le rapport d'opposition entre deux équipes. Le but n'est pas de décrire comment joue une équipe, sans considérer l'adversaire, mais de lier les systèmes de jeu des deux équipes, offensifs ou défensifs, compte tenu de leurs effets sur l'adversaire. C'est ce qu'on appelle le rapport d'opposition. Comme le montre Deleplace (1979) dans sa modélisation du rugby, c'est en analysant le rapport d'opposition que l'on peut expliquer et comprendre l'essence de l'activité. Pour cette étude, nous avons choisi de construire un nouveau modèle d'analyse en adoptant une procédure technologique (Bouthier & Durey, 1994 ; Éloi & Uhlrich, 2011 ; Uhlrich, Éloi & Bouthier, 2011). Cela nous permettra de considérer le rapport d'opposition comme le premier indicateur de performance. Notre objectif est de déterminer la norme du volley-ball lors des Jeux Olympiques de Rio en 2016 au travers de l'analyse du rapport d'opposition. Dans cette perspective, nous choisissons d'utiliser le logiciel Sportscode qui est un méta-logiciel, c'est-à-dire un logiciel qui permet de créer des logiciels. La conception du logiciel créé par ce méta-logiciel facilite l'analyse de la performance en permettant une visualisation aisée des séquences vidéo prédéterminées par l'entraîneur, en direct ou après le match.Les résultats de cette étude nous montrent qu'il est possible d'identifier la norme du volley-ball à un moment précis de son histoire. De cette manière, il sera alors possible de comparer les différentes équipes entre elles et de déterminer leur style de jeu, mais également d'analyser les différentes façons de jouer au travers de son histoire. / As part of an empirical research on the playing styles of different nations in volleyball, we collected data on various international competitions. Our goal was to model and rationalize our activity through the construction of a video feedback tool that allowed us to analyze the momentum between two teams. The purpose is not to describe how play a team, without considering the opponent, but to link the game systems of the two teams, offensive or defensive, considering their effects on the opponent. This is called “momentum” (or balance of power). As shown by Deleplace (1979) in his rugby modeling, it is by analyzing the momentum that we can explain and understand the essence of the activity.For this study, we choose to build a new analysis model adopting a technological procedure (Bouthier & Durey, 1994; Éloi & Uhlrich, 2011; Uhlrich, Éloi & Bouthier, 2011). It will allow us to consider the momentum as the first performance indicator. Our goal is to determine the standard of volleyball during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games through the analysis of the momentum. In this perspective, we choose to use the software Sportscode which is a meta software, i.e., a software to make software. The design of the software created by this meta software facilitates the analysis of the performance by allowing an easy viewing of the video instances predetermined by coach, during live or after the game.The results of this study show us that it is possible to identify the international volleyball standard at a specific moment in its history. In this way, it will be possible to compare the different teams between them and determine their style of play, but also to analyze the different ways of playing through its history.

Denna studie fokuserar på mediers framställning av män och kvinnor i sportjournalistiken. Utifrån ett genusperspektiv analyserar vi Aftonbladets nyhetskrönikor av de Olympiska Spelen sommaren 2016. Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur kvinnliga atleter framställs gentemot manliga atleter inom sportjournalistiken. Vi undersöker även om det råder en hegemonisk maskulinitet i rapporteringen. I utförandet av studien har vi använt oss av kritisk diskursanalys (CDA) som både metod och teori. Som komplement till CDA som teori, utgår vår analys från genusteori, hegemonisk maskulinitet och stereotyper. Studien grundar sig i fem olika analysverktyg hämtade ur Carvalhos (2008) steg-för-steg modell för kritisk diskursanalys. Modellen gör det möjligt för en kritisk analys av textens innehåll samt skildringar av manliga och kvinnliga atleter. Resultaten visar att det i jämförelse med tidigare studier råder en ändring i diskursen. De kvinnliga atleterna i studien skildras inte av negativa stereotyper. Fokus ligger inte på kvinnornas sociala roll, utan de beskrivs istället utifrån sina bedrifter som atleter. Det råder en jämställd skildring av kvinnliga och manliga atleter utifrån ett genusperspektiv och den hegemoniska maskuliniteten stöds inte i vår studie. / The focus of this study lies on medias representation of male and female athletes in sports journalism. The research has been conducted on one of Sweden’s biggest newspaper, Aftonbladet. This study has, from a gender perspective, critically analysed Aftonbladets news coverage of the summer Olympic games of 2016. The purpose of this study is to examine how female athletes is portrayed in sports journalism in comparison with male athletes, and to see if a hegemony masculinity shows in the news coverage. To carry this study into effect we chose to use critical discourse analysis as both method and theory. To complement CDA as a theory we also base our analysis in the theory of gender, stereotypes and hegemony masculinity theory. This study is based on five analytic tools that was recovered from Carvalhos step-by-step model for a critical discourse analysis. This makes it possible for a critical qualitative analysis of the text and the depiction of male and female athletes. The model makes it possible to examine the chronicles use of linguistic, as the content of the text is broken down thoroughly and deeply analysed. In comparison to earlier studies, our results shows that there is a change in the discourse. The female athletes in the study are not described by negative stereotypes. The focus of the female athletes does not lie on them as social actors, instead they are described by their actions as athletes. From a gender perspective the female and male athletes are represented equally. There is no showing of a hegemony masculinity in the news reporting.
