Det agila ledarskapet och dess effekt på alienation : - En fallstudie om ledarskapets effekt på medarbetarnas alienation.

Classon, Linnéa, Tofte Siösteen, Fanny January 2017 (has links)
This study aims to enlighten the effect the agile leadership has on alienation. Two different companies, with different leadership styles, are examined in an attempt to determine if leadership is a contributing factor to alienation among the employees. The study was conducted through the use of a case study of two stores of two different companies. To obtain the purpose of this study the following questions have been asked: • Which features of alienation can be found among the employees? • What effect does the leadership have on the employee’s alienation? To acquire the purpose of the study the theoretical framework is based on a presentation of the traditional leadership, the agile leadership and alienation. The study shows that the employees have encountered some features of alienation. The study shows that the employee at the company who practices the agile leadership encounters fewer of the alienation features, than the employees at the company who practices the traditional leadership. The results of the study showed that some of the features had a bigger impact on the employees. We also found that the agile leadership had good effects on alienation, as the self organized-team, an including approach and lack of hierarchy had beneficial effects on the employee’s sense of control and motivation.

A Feature-Oriented Software Engineering Approach to Integrate ASSISTments with Learning Management Systems

Duong, Hien D 29 May 2014 (has links)
"Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), in the past two decades, has become the most influential and dominant programming paradigm for developing large and complex software systems. With OOP, developers can rely on design patterns that are widely accepted as solutions for recurring problems and used to develop flexible, reusable and modular software. However, recent studies have shown that Objected-Oriented Abstractions are not able to modularize these pattern concerns and tend to lead to programs with poor modularity. Feature-Oriented Programming (FOP) is an extension of OOP that aims to improve the modularity and to support software variability in OOP by refining classes and methods. In this thesis, based upon the work of integrating an online tutor systems, ASSISTments, with other online learning management systems, we evaluate FOP with respect to modularity. This proof-of-concept effort demonstrates how to reduce the effort in designing integration code."

Agent oriented fault detection, isolation and recovery and aspect-oriented plug-and-play tracking mechanism

Chen, Feilong 30 September 2004 (has links)
Fault detection, isolation, and recovery are some of the most critical activities in which astronauts and flight controllers participate. Recent systems to perform the FDIR activity lack portability and extensibility, and do not provide any explanation of the system's activity. In this research, we explore the use of an agent-oriented paradigm and Java technology for better performance of FDIR activity. Also, we have explored the use of explanation in agent-oriented systems, and designed a system-activity tracking mecha-nism that helps the user to understand the agents' behavior. We have explored different ways to generalize this mechanism for arbitrary agent systems to use. Furthermore, we studied mechanisms to automatically add the tracking mechanism to an existing agent system. By using AspectJ, an aspect-oriented tool, a plug-and-playable tracking system has been built that can add the capability to track the activity of the system to any JACK agent system easily. Our experience can help further research on using aspect-oriented tools with agent-oriented paradigms together to obtain better performance.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Product Lifecycle Management Model

Chuang, Shun-Ju 12 June 2012 (has links)
A new product progresses through a sequence of stages from its introduction in the market and its profitability, this sequence is known as the ¡§product life cycle (PLC).¡¨ However, before a product enter the market during the conceive phase, there are three major elements: product data conception, product data collaboration, and product data management. These elements allow a company to track product development through portfolio management and to maintain sales product configuration and market documentation through centralize database. The essence of product lifecycle management (PLM) helps a company increase product revenues through reduced design phase period and prototyping costs due to changes. Currently, the PLM uses a process-oriented model where its strategies are inefficient due to lack of comprehensive consideration and fast rate of change in market needs. As a result, resources are wasted and product competitiveness is affected when the entire process is altered. Thus, this research presents the architecture-oriented product lifecycle management model (AOPLMM) as a solution to deficiencies of the process-oriented model. The goal of AOPLMM is to establish product design development based on multi-needs of the market. Overall, AOPLMM is able to integrate design organization (such as requirement specification, intellectual property right, and green environmental design) and information system for product development knowledge in defining responsibilities of each division and collaboration among them. AOPLMM includes six fundamental diagrams: the ¡§architecture hierarchy diagram,¡¨ the ¡§framework diagram,¡¨ the ¡§component operation diagram,¡¨ the ¡§component connection diagram, the ¡§structure-behavior coalescence diagram,¡¨ and the ¡§interaction flow diagram.¡¨ To construct an efficient model through information management system has several advantages such as flexibility in product design, immediate response to market needs, simplification of product development, decline in enterprise cost, and increase in competitiveness. Therefore, an architecture-oriented model is the clear choice for product lifecycle management.

Study of an Architecture-Oriented B2B e-Marketplace

Chen, Ching-Sung 11 July 2007 (has links)
In this study, we first explore various type of the B2B e-Marketplace. After that, we induce basic, common, scalable of the B2B e-Marketplace services. Following, we describe the user behaviors of these services. Finally, we construct an Architecture-Oriented B2B e-Marketplace Framework (AOB2BF) by the Architecture-Oriented system development method, comparing with Non-AOB2BF by Non-Architecture-Oriented system development method. This research concludes that AOB2BF is able to decrease the system development errors and document transformation, henceforth reducing system development complexity and costs. In AOB2BF a complete system architecture hierarchy is totally represented. In such situation, a system developer will be able to construct his own B2B e-Marketplace with all aspects considered. In this thesis, advantages of AOB2BF are fully verified and validated by logic. Future research, according to our contribution, is suggested to implement a real AOB2BF system.

The relationship between internal marketing and patient-oriented behavior

Wu, San-Chiang 26 May 2001 (has links)
The Relationship between Internal Marketing and Patient Oriented Behavior ¡XThe Evidence from Kaohsiung Municipal Hospital In 21th century , not only the life quality but also medical care is perfect was requested by the people. The quality of service is highly related to the front-line worker. According to the literature review, the internal marketing has am important impact on the customer-oriented behavior. This article is empirical study to prove the influence of internal marketing on the patient-oriented behavior of front-line employees in medical care. The results showed that: 1.Adopting the conduct of internal marketing has an positive impact on affective and normative commitment of organization; but management support has a negative impact on continuance commitment, while thinking highly of staff has no effect on continuance commitment. 2.Adopting the internal marketing conduct has positive impact on organization climate for service. 3.Affective commitment, normative commitment and organization climate for service has positive impact on patient-oriented serving behavior. However, affective commitment and organization climate for service has negative impact on staff-oriented serving behavior. While there is no significance both in continuance commitment comparing with patient-oriented serving behavior and normative commitment comparing with staff-oriented serving behavior. 4.Adopting the internal marketing has a positive impact on patient-oriented serving behavior. However, management support has a positive impact on staff-oriented serving behavior; but thinking highly of staff has no effect on staff-oriented serving behavior. The study also indicated that internal marketing show a positive influence on patient-oriented serving behavior through normative commitment and organization climate for service. So the managers must concern the mediators such as normative commitment and organization climate for service while put internal marketing on the hospital to make sure patient-oriented serving behavior will perform. Key Words: Internal Marketing, Patient-Oriented, Staff-Oriented, Serving Behavior

Transit oriented regions : past and present thoughts on regionalism

Hall, Andrea Lynn 21 November 2013 (has links)
As society finds it itself on the brink of new social, economic and political upheavals, a reconsideration of the make-up of regions is necessary. From time to time, these changes manifest as migrations from one line of thought to another. Moreover, these changes were predicted and observed by notable historic figures in planning and regional theory. It is the intent of this report is to note and link the connections between historic figureheads and contemporary proponents of regional form and its interconnectedness to transportation infrastructure. This report goes on to provide examples of barriers to modern implementation of regional transit-oriented development and also to provide case studies where positive interaction between local governments has resulted in regional forms and transportation networks that embody new solutions in a changing socio-economic and environmental constructs. / text
