Origenes und die "Simplices". Theologie vor den Herausforderungen einfachen Glaubens / Origen and the "simplices". Theology confronted with the challenge of simple faith

Grillmayer, Ralf January 2009 (has links) (PDF)
Scholars of Origen have for decades agreed in thinking that the relationship between him and the simple believers is characterised by reservations right up to hostility. Researching the plenty of pertinent statements in their context, the study reveals a differentiated view and detects an advancement in Origens understanding for the simple members of the Christian community.

Jean Giono et Miguel Delibes, romanciers de la terre / Jean Giono and Miguel Delibes, novelists of the land / Jean Giono y Miguel Delibes, novelistas de la tierra

De Casabianca Foata, Lelia 24 January 2014 (has links)
The works of Jean Giono (1895-1970) and Miguel Delibes (1920-2010) are respectively set against the backdrop of hinterland Provence and rural Castile, laying the emphasis on the land. This PhD thesis mainly dwells on their novelistic productions, which share numerous recurring themes and figures, despite some aesthetic differences and nuances. After addressing the question of how to characterize these novels – are they novels of the “soil”, “rustic” novels or novels of the “land”? –, this study concentrates on the specific relationships between male characters and their land: peasants at work, all those who live among nature, without forgetting town-dwellers in search of their roots or rural people transplanted to city life, but whose sense of belonging endures. In these works of fiction, the land theme is dealt with in various ways; the emphasis is first placed on the harmonious relationship and close bonds that unite the land with its creatures, whether human or animal. This organic whole is imbued with myths that refer to the origins of mankind. But modernity ruptures this primeval unity, the cycles of its rhythms and the order of its harmonies. Resisting such oppression, the earth rebels, turns against men and threatens them with destruction. From then on, men try to create a restored relationship with the land so that a lost balance might be re-established.

[pt] A ESPONSALIDADE DE CRISTO COM A IGREJA NAS HOMILIAS E COMENTÁRIO DE ORÍGENES AO CÂNTICO DOS CÂNTICOS / [en] CHRIST S SPOUSALNESS TO THE CHURCH IN THE HOMILY AND ORIGEN S COMMENTARY ON THE SONG OF SONGS

DOUGLAS DO CARMO PEREIRA 06 June 2022 (has links)
[en] Among the many metaphors that express God s love for humanity, that of the wedding is the one that deserves greater prominence in the opinion of some theologians, both the theologians of antiquity and those of modern times, certainly due to the high level of intimacy that the metaphor allows to imagine in the concerning God s unrestrained love for his Church. It is therefore a matter of timely work, useful to the spirituality of the church, and particularly to every Christian. Certainly, many homilies on God have been heard along the lines of the Lord-servant relationship; Dad son; God-human; Shepherd sheep; saint-sinner. All have correspondence in Scripture, but it emphasizes little - or not enough - the category of love of the one who occupies the superiority in this relationship and, therefore, none of these metaphors compares to the Husband-Wife relationship. For this, the focus of this work falls on one of the works of Origen whose title is: Homilies and Commentary on the Song of Songs. The fact is that Origen saw in this Husband-Wife relationship a prefiguration of the encounter between Christ – the Word – who approaches, going to meet the Bride – the church, but also the individual Christian, thus expressing the plan of redemption. Then, this work approaches the biblical book attributed to Solomon, together with Origen s work on the Song of Songs, which in turn is divided into two homilies and the commentary. Finally, this work cut out the main components that can reinforce the construction of a nuptial theology as a Christological proposal, since Origen applied his theology to the soul of the faithful, not only to the church as the body of Christ. Thus, the closest members of this love relationship will be seen, such as kisses; bed; perfume; chest; hug; beauty; shadow; among others, in a state of progress, in order to magnetize the soul of the faithful to this nuptial encounter with Christ the Spouse.
