Transformações e mapeamentos da MDA e sua implementação em três ferramentas. / MDA\'s transformation and mappings and their implementation in three tools.Caliari, Giuliano Luz Pigatti 17 September 2007 (has links)
Model transformations are a vital point for model driven development, including MDA. In the present essay we introduce some of the MDA concepts related with model transformations. We present the concept of PIM, PSM, transformations, mappings and marks. These concepts are analyzed in the context of three MDA tools, OptimalJ, AndroMDA and ArcStyler, to verify if the tools implement the concepts according to MDA. We also analyze how and which model transformations and model mappings are being implemented by the tools, through a qualitative comparison of the definition of these concepts and using some examples of their intended use. In addition to verifying the concepts related to transformations, we create a qualitative case study to analyze the model transformations and model mappings provided by the tools, and how the tools work with them. We show a few of the problems faced when creating a PIM model of the case study\'s system and the adaptations it required for each tool.

Využití matematicko-statistického modelování pro odhady spotřeby fixního kapitálu a stavů nefinančních aktivit / The use of mathematical and statistical modeling for the estimates of consumption of fixed capital and stocks of non-financial assetsSixta, Jaroslav January 2004 (has links)
The aim of this dissertation thesis is to compile a systematic methodical approach for fixed assets as a national methodology. It focuses on stocks, consumption of fixed capital and capital services. The thesis is divided into three parts and six chapters. Chapter one and chapter two are used as a general theoretical base for chapters 3 to 5. Chapter 3 is based on a standard approach to the perpetual inventory method (PIM) as it is used in the Czech Republic. Chapter 4 is devoted to capital services and to an alternative approach to PIM. It is not used in the Czech Republic until now. Estimates are an integral part of the chapter. Chapter 5 describes capital services for other non-market producers, both methodology and estimates are covered. The impact of the change of the so-called cost method used for the estimates of output of other non-market producers on gross domestic product is calculated. The change consists in the substitution of consumption of fixed capital by capital services. Chapter 6 summarizes and explains the consequences in terms of national accounts.

Objektinių modelių transformacijų realizavimas / Implementing object model transformationsAbdrachimovas, Ruslanas 31 May 2004 (has links)
Presented work covers one of the most important areas of OMG’s model driven architecture (MDA) – problems of object model transformations. Based on research of OMG specifications and other sources, author analyzes transformation process, states importance of modeling and metamodeling for designing of UML like modeling languages. Research work describes designed metamodels of experimental modeling languages: “Entity – process”, Java metamodel and relational metamodel. Author gives a short overview of model editors for these languages, created using EMF framework tools. Based on analysis, author describes very flexible architecture of model transformation implementation, based on filter and pipes architectural pattern. Usage of this architecture gives flexibility to transformation implementation and allows easy and straightforward decomposition of transformation to separate stages. Designed filter and pipes transformation architecture was used for experimental transformation implementation. Research work presents quality and quantity based results of experimental transformations.

The application of molecular biology techniques to analyse diversity in Theileria parva populations in ZambiaGeysen, Dirk January 2000 (has links)
Theileria parva is a complex protozoan parasite causing East Coast fever in Eastern and Central Africa. Vaccination using live parasites is an effective control measure and has been used in Zambia based on locally isolated and introduced T. parva stocks. Diversity among T. parva populations was investigated in parasites from two Zambian provinces with different disease epidemiologies and control histories. Isolates from the pre-vaccination era, local and exotic stocks used for vaccination, and one recent field isolate were cloned and passaged in vitro to study genomic stability over time. The results of the data from three genome-wide probes indicate a marked homogeneity and stability among the Zambian isolates in contrast to East African isolates. Results from Southern blot profiles and the polymorphic immunodominant molecule (PIM) sequence analysis suggest a common origin for the Zambian isolates from the pre-vaccination era, except for one isolate (Zam5) from Southern Province. This isolate showed characteristics suggesting a buffalo origin. Assays for genotype characterisation were developed using five allelic markers. Multilocus characterisation revealed identical profiles in a recent Zambian isolate from Southern Province and two components of an exotic cocktail vaccine, indicating the escape of one of the vaccine stocks in the field. Characterisation of T. parva field populations by RFLP-PCR assays after immunisation revealed the presence of dominant genotypes from those that had been used for vaccination. Circumstantial evidence for the involvement of one of the exotic vaccine parasites in epidemics in Southern Province is presented and a hypothesis formulated for the rapid spread of this genotype. Analysis of the characterisation data suggested the existence of two groups of T. parva parasites of different origin. The classic T. parva group, characterised by a dimorphism of the p150, p104 and p32 loci and the absence of a p67 insert and a buffalo-derived group which showed a polymorphism of p150, p104 and p32 and the presence of a p67 insert. There is evidence that recombination occurs, resulting in parasites that have characteristics of both groups. The relevance of these recombinant parasites in the epidemiology of the disease seems low. Characterisation of larger samples from areas of regular buffalo-cattle contact is necessary to clarify this. Sequence analysis of the most discriminative locus (PIM) was undertaken and gene conversion could be the main mechanism generating diversity. A more appropriate nomenclature for T. parva is proposed based on the growing evidence of molecular differences among isolates and stocks.
