A presente pesquisa buscou dar visibilidade às relações de poder na atualidade educacional, lançando luz aos nexos saber-poder-verdade aí em fluxo. Tomou as práticas de administração escolar, enunciados do presente que são, como mirante para observar o poder em funcionamento. O conceito de governamentalidade foi operante no desenvolvimento deste estudo, o qual está referenciado no conjunto do pensamento de Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Nikolas Rose, Peter Pál Pelbart, Jorge Ramos do Ó, Alfredo Veiga-Neto, dentre outros. A análise se pautou em enunciados extraídos de algumas publicações sobre administração escolar, bem como de discursos de diretores de escolas municipais da capital paulista, a qual buscou investigar os regimes de verdade inscritos nessas práticas. Por meio de cinco imagens tomadas como portais analíticos, investigaram-se os sistemas de conhecimento e de raciocínio que orientam a condução da conduta nas escolas neste início de século. No primeiro portal, Entrevidas, tencionou-se dar a ver as atualizações do poder pastoral e a inserção do saber psi nas práticas administrativas responsáveis por fazerem circular um vocabulário próprio à racionalidade vigente: liderança, persuasão, motivação. No portal, O Grito, destacou-se a vigência da ética da liberdade que remonta ao projeto da Ilustração e aos reformadores liberais, percutindo nos dias atuais formas de governo que, cada vez mais, incitam os indivíduos a se voluntariarem às técnicas do poder. No terceiro portal, A persistência da Memória, explorou-se o regime de tempo que tem vigorado na atualidade, qual seja, linear, progressivo, finalista, e que tem desdobrado práticas bastante disseminadas no campo educacional. Em Integralidade, o quarto portal, retomou-se a questão do Liberalismo como modus operandi distendendo, dessa abordagem, o discurso da democracia. E, na imagem As Armas do Cavaleiro Solitário, procurou-se desdobrar o papel dos experts que anunciam o que, talvez, constitua o novo mote do poder pastoral na sociedade contemporânea: o empreendedorismo. Por fim, ao perscrutar a ética da liberdade nas formações discursivas analisadas, a qual tem orientado a racionalidade educacional em voga, o estudo investigou a topografia moral que esses discursos moldam, a política de responsabilização a ela inerente e a forma pela qual tais discursos, num caráter incitatório do poder, arregimentam os indivíduos (cada um e todos) em empreitadas civilizatórias por meio de tecnologias específicas de governo, tais como: projeto pedagógico, formação continuada, pedagogia de projetos, gestão democrática, dentre outras práticas cujo fim último é a produção de individualidades autogeridas. / This study aims to give visibility to the associations of power in modern-day education, and to shed light on the knowledge-power-truth nexus that flows through it. It takes practices of school administration, as they are presently asseverated and which act like a lookout from which to observe the working of power. The concept of governmentality was operative in the development of this study, which has references to the academic works of Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Nikolas Rose, Peter Pál Pelbart, Jorge Ramos do Ó and Alfredo Veiga-Neto, among others. The analysis is based on statements extracted from publications on school administration, as well as speeches delivered by the principals of county schools located in the capital city of the state of São Paulo. It aims to investigate the regimes of truth extolled by these practices. The systems of knowledge and reasoning that have guided the direction of conduct in schools since the beginning of the century were investigated with the aid of five images, considered here to be analytical portals. In the first portal, Between lives, the intention was to demonstrate the actualization of pastoral power and the insertion of Psi knowledge into administrative practices which have been responsible for the adoption of a suitable vocabulary for the current reasoning: leadership, persuasion, motivation. In the portal The Scream, the validity of the freedom ethic that harks back to the illustrative project and the liberal reformers, which still resounds in modern times and makes for more sophisticated forms of government that, more and more, stimulates individuals to volunteer for the techniques of power. In the third portal, The Persistence of Memory, the time regime that is currently in force was explored. It is linear, progressive, finalist and has led to fairly widespread practices in the educational field. In Integrity, the fourth image, the issue of liberalism as a modus operandi was revisited, in this approach, expanding on the dissertation of democracy. And, in the portal The Lone Horsemans Weapons, an attempt was made to execute the role of the experts who announced what may have constituted the new mottos of pastoral power in present-day society: entrepreneurialism. Finally, upon scrutinizing the ethics of freedom in the meandering tomes analyzed, which has guided the currently fashionable educational rationality, the study investigates the moral topography that these dissertations shape, the policy of responsibility inherent to it and the manner in which these dissertations, in an inspirational characteristic of power, arrange individuals (each and every one) into civilizing ventures through specific governmental technologies, such as pedagogic projects, further education, pedagogy of projects and democratic management, among others. These are practices whose final objective is the construction of self-gestating individuals.

Som socialarbetare behöver man både kunna hålla huvudet kallt och samtidigt ha ett varmt hjärta. Att drivas av viljan att hjälpa samtidigt som lagar och regler styr stora delar av arbetet kan skapa konflikter i yrkesrollen. Denna uppsats lyfter de splittrade rollerna. Studien syftar till att undersöka socialarbetares upplevelser av rollen som myndighetsperson och rollen som hjälpare i det sociala arbetet samt hur dessa roller påverkar mötet med klienten samt hur makten i myndighetsrollen påverkar hjälparrollen och mötet med klienten. För att ta reda på socialarbetarnas upplevelser genomfördes fem semistrukturerade intervjuer. Faktorer som undersökts är förhållandet mellan rollerna, rollkonflikter, hantering av rollkonflikt samt vilken makt som finns i rollerna. Resultatet har analyserats med begreppen pastoralmakt och caring power. Studien visar att samtliga informanter beskriver att de upplevt motstridigheter mellan rollerna samt att balansen mellan makt och hjälp är komplex. Alla informanter beskriver att de olika rollerna påverkar mötet med klienten men trots det verkar detta många gånger vara oreflekterat hos socialarbetare. / As a social worker, you need to think with a cool head while having a warm heart. Driven by a will to help, but faced with laws and regulations that can lead to conflicts between the professional and governing body. This study has been put in place to examine this relationship from the social workers point of view. This qualitative study aims to examine social workers experiences of power in “the authority role” and how that power affect “the helper role” within social work. We also want to investigate how these roles affect in meeting with the client. In order to understand the social workers experiences semi-structured interviews were made with workers within this department. The main focus was to exam how the specified roles affect the meeting with clients. Factors examined are: The relationship, conflicts, management and power between the roles. In the analysis of the result, the concepts of pastoral power and caring power have been used, and thus lift the social workers view of power and help. The study shows that all informants experienced contradictions between the roles and that the balance between power and help is complex. However, the study also shows that the subject is relatively unreflected by the social workers.

L‟objectif de ce mémoire est de comprendre la possibilité et les développements de ce dont nous percevons comme une forme différente d‟aborder l‟histoire, celle qui privilégie la catégorie d‟événement dans sa composition. Pour soutenir cette idée, nous avons choisi de vérifier son opérabilité à travers l‟oeuvre de Michel Foucault en partant d‟une lecture qui rend explicites les relations entre les domaines du discursif et du non-discursif pour faire état des modifications acquises par son « événementialisation » de l‟histoire. Nous prétendons donc analyser une spécificité qui résulte de cette construction théorique qui vise à réaliser une histoire du présent : la configuration du pouvoir pastoral à partir de la problématique de sa conduction et sa relation avec le diagnostic foucaldien de l‟insurrection iranienne de 1979. / O objetivo deste trabalho é compreender a possibilidade e os desdobramentos do que percebemos como uma forma diferente de abordagem da história, que privilegia a categoria de acontecimento em sua composição. Para tal, escolhemos verificar sua operacionalidade através da obra de Michel Foucault partindo de uma leitura que explicita as relações entre os domínios do discursivo e do não-discursivo para dar conta das modificações trazidas por sua acontecimentalização da história. Pretendemos, desta maneira, analisar uma especificidade decorrente desta construção teórica que visa realizar uma história do presente: a configuração do poder pastoral a partir da problemática da condução e sua relação com o diagnóstico foucaultiano da Insurreição Iraniana de 1979. / The aim of this thesis is to understand the possibility and developments of what we perceive as a differentway of approaching history, one that gives privilege to the category of event in its composition. To achieve this, we have chosen to check its operational plausibility in the work of Michel Foucault based on a reading that makes explicit the relations between the domains of the discursive and the non-discursive. Our objective is to give an account of the modifications brought out by his eventalization of history. We thus aim to analyse a specific result stemming from the theoretical construction whose purpose is to accomplish a history of the present: the configuration of pastoral power as based on the problematic of its conduction and its relation to the Foucauldian diagnosis of the Iranian Insurrection of 1979.

Este trabalho explora novas maneiras de se pensar os Meios de Comunicação de Massa, suas relações de poder e sua relevância social. Através da filosofia de Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze e muitos outros pensadores que seguiram suas reflexões, adotando conceitos como Biopoder, Biopolíticas, Poder Pastoral, Sociedade Disciplinar e Sociedade de Controle, podemos obter novas perspectivas de como eles, os Meios de Comunicação, se inserem nas relações sociais, como operam, e como estão relacionados com a formação de um novo tipo de sujeito: o sujeito mediático. Estes estudos são um passo importante para se constituir uma abordagem pósestruturalista das ciências da comunicação, mas não se destinam a aproximar as teorias da comunicação da analítica pós-estrutural; o objetivo presente é de oferecer caminhos e ferramentas alternativas para se entender e/ou lidar com as relações produzidas através dos Meios de Comunicação. Infelizmente, todo o conhecimento das Ciências da Comunicação foi produzido sob o prisma estruturalista, e portanto, estabelecer uma nova abordagem neste campo é uma tarefa delicada já que todas as referências disponíveis não são adequadas a esta outra epistemologia. Neste contexto, a presente pesquisa se resume a um estudo introdutório sobre como abordar a comunicação mediática de forma pós-estrutural. / This work explore a new way of thinking about the mass media, its power and social relevance. Throught the philosophy of Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze and their followers, using concepts as Biopower, Biopolitics, Pastoral Power, Disciplinary Society and Society of Control, we can get a different perspective about what mass communication means to the society, how it works, and how deep mass media is related to the formation of a new kind of self: the mediatic self. These studies are an important step to reach a post-structuralistic approach of communication sciences, and are not intended to build bridges between communication theories and post-structural analytics, but to offer alternative paths and tools to understand, and to deal with the relationships and effects produced in conjunction with the mass media. Unofortunately, all the knowledge about communication sciences are in the estructuralistic form. Estabilishing a new approach to it is a very delicate task once all the reference avaliable is not exactly suitable. This, in fact, is only an introductory work in this issue.

In the „coloured‟ community of Scottsville in the Western Cape, the historical legacy of political violence and abuse, combined with the current social hierarchies of violence, control and abuse, have serious consequences for Scottsville‟s young people. These traumas and the associated discourses create a culture of fear, distrust, hopelessness, humiliation and silence amongst the majority of the young people. I have employed feminist-poststructuralist analyses in order to grasp the complex nature of the challenges of „coloured‟ poverty. Foucault‟s analyses of power relations also offered this research ways to critique pastoral power. Because of Foucault‟s analyses, I became aware that „coloured‟ people‟s experience of poverty and invisibility could not be separated from my own experience of the power of privilege and visibility. The operation of unjust power relations in the „coloured‟ community therefore compelled me to use my education and privileges to work for the restitution of the voices and of relational and physical possibilities in the lives of „coloured‟ young people. What started out as a research project became a cross-cultural journey of reparation and of my own humanisation. I argue that the praxis of embodied solidarity with the „other‟ is the challenge that poverty ultimately poses to people of privilege and to the ways in which theology defines itself. In doing the work of reparation I was supported by the relational theme of solidarity with the marginalised provided by a feminist theology of praxis. The knowledges of the women in the community in particular served as resources of faith. The research methodologies I used in this research combined the practices of narrative therapy, creative writing, mentoring and drama. The purpose of these methodologies was to invite young people into various meaning-making processes which enabled them to become the agents of their own lives and of a culture of possibility. Derrida‟s work on deconstruction and the aporia provided this research with a framework for the theory of possibility. Through the methodologies of networking and advocacy, other people have joined us in going beyond the physical and relational limitations of poverty to create possibilities for the young people and their schools. / Practical theology / D. It is an strategy to operate in his art, a vision about meaningful cultural expression in the city of Montes Claros. The Via Crucis of Christoff is a singular work and stands out from the others both in quantity and content of the paintings. Through this study, we will try to expand our analysis and reflections, because the upgrade of his Via Sacra reveals us the reading that the artist has of the world around him, by the mobilization and transformation of the senses. In the first chapter, we will approach relevant questions about the subject “Via Sacra”, in order to investigate how some senses were operated, updated and transformed through the representation of the Path of Christ’s Passion, by a completely new and singular Via Sacra, where the artist theatricalizes the history of humanity. In the second chapter, we’ll seek to understand how Konstantin Christoff appropriated, hybridized and transformed the senses, through the metaphorical appropriation of consecrated paintings, as “The Parable of the Blind” by Pieter Brueguel, and the use of characters such as the blindfolded soldier, to operate, mobilize and transform the meanings, revealing the spiritual blindness and the power relations in today’s society. In the third chapter, we think about the society seen through the Via Sacra of Christoff, and how the artist made a severe critique of pastoral, military and media power, as quell as the socioeconomic power relations and issues of class, even that the artist had involuntarily sustained himself on the sacred scriptures. / A proposta desta dissertação é abordar a construção visual do social, através da prática artística de Konstantin Christoff (1923-2011), como um artista pós-moderno, que urdiu por meio da série "Via Sacra" uma estratégia para operar em sua arte uma visão sobre expressões culturais significativas na cidade de Montes Claros. A "Via Crucis" de Christoff é uma obra singular e se destaca das demais tanto em quantidade como em conteúdo das pinturas. Por meio deste estudo, buscaremos expandir nossas análises e reflexões, pois a atualização dessa série pictórica nos revela a leitura que o artista faz do mundo a sua volta, mediante a mobilização e transformação dos sentidos. No primeiro capítulo, abordaremos questões relevantes a respeito do tema “Via Sacra”, a fim de investigarmos como alguns sentidos foram operados, atualizados e transformados pelo viés da representação do Caminho da Paixão de Cristo, através de uma Via Sacra completamente nova e singular, na qual o artista teatraliza a história da humanidade. No segundo capítulo, buscaremos compreender como Konstantin Christoff se apropriou, hibridizou e transformou os sentidos, através da apropriação metafórica de pinturas consagradas, tal qual a “A Parábola dos Cegos” de Pieter Brueghel, além da utilização de personagens, como o soldado vendado, para operar, mobilizar e transformar os significados, revelando a cegueira espiritual e as relações de poder na sociedade hodierna. No terceiro capítulo, pensamos a sociedade vista pela ótica da Via Sacra de Christoff, revelando como o artista fez uma crítica severa aos poderes pastoral, militar e midiático, assim como às relações de poder sócioeconômico e às questões de classe, mesmo que, involuntariamente, o artista tenha se sustentado nas Sagradas Escrituras.
