Rekonstrukce blízkého pole antén / Reconstruction of the Antenna Near-Field

Puskely, Jan January 2011 (has links)

Skrytá podstata skutečnosti - Humovské pojetí / Secret nature of reality - Humean approach

Fršlínek, Jan January 2019 (has links)
This thesis enquires into the question of the hidden nature of things and reality in the context of David Hume's philosophy. In the context of a Humean approach to reality, it discusses whether the things which we perceive and which are considered to be perceptions can have some sort of non-empirical correlation that lies beneath them and whether it can be called the hidden nature of these things. The first half of the thesis is focused on the philosophy of David Hume. In the second half of the thesis two original considerations about the hidden nature and its characteristics are presented. The thesis starts with three selected theories of substance as presented in A Treatise of Human Nature. The theory of John Locke and the theory of the peripatetics are presented from Hume's critical perspective. Consequently is presented an interpretation called the New Hume. In the context of this interpretation, Hume presumes that there are hidden entities lying beneath empirical reality. Then, there are two considerations focused on the hidden nature of things and its characteristics which are presented. These characteristics are consequently being described in an indirect manner. And finally an original suggestion of how to understand the hidden nature is presented. It has the character of mere...

Simulace toroidních cívek v Ansoft Maxwell 3D / Simulation of toroid coils in Ansoft Maxwell 3D

Daněk, Michal January 2009 (has links)
The master thesis is focused on the simulation of the toroid coils in Ansoft Maxwell 3D software, which uses finite element method for electromagnetic field simulation. Firstly the process creation of the geometric model toroid coil with seventy-five threaded is presented. It is necessary to debug this model and prepare it for the mesh generation. Physical properties are assign to this model and it gives rise to the physical model. We will set boundaries, excitation current, core material, winding material and the parameters for the mesh generations. New material Kashke K4000 will be created in the materials library and subsequently we will define its BH curve on the basis of datasheet. Analysis is made in two modes. Direct currents (7,5A; 10A; 15A; 20A; 25A) and (non)linear materials are used in magnetostatic solution. Toroid coil is excited by current pulse in transient solution. In Ansoft Maxwell Circuit editor a source which generates current pulse will be created. This excitation will be assigned to the toroid coil as an extern source through a terminal. Core material is linear in the case of transient analysis, because Ansoft Maxwell 3D doesn´t allow to use nonlinear material in this solution. Settings are different in transient and in magnetostatic analysis. End time and time step are entered to solve this task in transient analysis. Time points are entered too. Flux density and electromagnetic field strength are calculated in these time points and later it will be possible to view the results. Calculated fields are shown as the pictures in this thesis. The procedure how to use a field calculator in the postprocessing is given as well. The achievements are summarized in the conclusion.

The cytoplasmic dynein motor complex at microtubule plus-ends and in long range motility of early endosomes, microtubule plus-end anchorage and processivity of cytoplasmic dynein

Roger, Yvonne January 2013 (has links)
Cytoplasmic dynein is a microtubule-dependent motor protein which participates in numerous cellular processes. The motor complex consists of two heavy chains, intermediate, light intermediate and 3 families of light chains. Dynein is able to bind to these accessory chains as well as to regulatory proteins which enables the motor protein to fulfil such a variety of cellular processes. The associated light chains participate in long-distance organelle and vesicle transport in interphase and in chromosome segregation during mitosis. However, how these light chains control the activity of the motor protein is still unknown. In this study, I combine molecular genetics and live cell imaging to elucidate the role of the associated dynein light intermediate and light chains in dynein behaviour and early endosome (EE) motility in hyphal interphase cells as well as the anchorage of dynein to the microtubule (MT) plus-end in interphase and mitotic cells. I show that the dynein light intermediate chain (DLIC) as well as the light chain 2 (DLC2, Roadblock) are involved in dynein processivity and EE movement in interphase. The downregulation of either protein results in short hyphal growth which could be caused by a decreased runlength of EE and dynein. In addition, both proteins participate in dynein anchorage to the microtubule plus-end in interphase and mitosis as well as in spindle elongation during mitosis. Each protein causes a decrease of the motor protein dynein at MT plus-ends. Surprisingly, I found only minor or no defects in LC8 or Tctex mutants in the observed functions of dynein. LC8 seems to affect the dynein but not the EE runlength. In this case, dynein is still able to move into the bipolar MT array from where kinesin3 is able to take over EEs and move them towards the cell center. In contrast, Tctex has no effect on dynein or EE runlength or any other observed dynein function in hyphal cells. However, it causes a reduction in spindle elongation. Taken together, DLIC and DLC2 are important for dynein behaviour in long distance transport as well as in spindle positioning and elongation during mitosis. Furthermore, I studied the involvement of the dynein regulators Lis1 and NudE as well as the plus-end binding protein Clip1 (Clip-170 homologue) in the anchorage of dynein to the astral microtubule plus-ends during mitosis. The disruption of the anchorage complex at the astral MT plus-end causes a decrease in dynein number at this site and therefore slower spindle elongation in Anaphase B. Taken together, all three proteins are involved in anchorage of dynein to the astral microtubule tip and the subsequent spindle elongation. Furthermore, these findings also show that Ustilago maydis evolved two different mechanisms to anchor the motor protein to MT plus-ends in hyphal and mitotic cells. The plus-end binding protein Peb1 (EB1 homologue) and the dynein regulator dynactin mediate the dynein anchorage in hyphal cells whereas in mitotic cells the plus-ends binding protein Clip1 and the dynein regulators Lis1 and NudE anchor dynein to astral MT plus-ends.

Studie artefaktů v MR tomografických snímcích pro lékařské a technické aplikace / The Study of Artifacts in MR Tomographic Images for Medical and Technical Applications

Al Khaddour, Mouin Unknown Date (has links)

Modélisation et optimisation d’un alterno-démarreur synchrone à griffes pour l’application « mild-hybrid » / Modeling and optimization of a claw-pole synchronous starter generator for a mild-hybrid application

Devornique, Geoffrey 16 October 2017 (has links)
The research work carried out in this thesis concerns the modeling and optimization of claw-pole synchronous alternator used in mild-hybrid vehicles. The use of this machine is extended to assistit traction engine and energy recovery in the braking phases. The special structure of the rotor makes it necessary to use 3D finite element models to analyse efficiently the three-dimensional effects, which requires an intensive use of computing resources (RAM, CPU time). The latter must be reduced in order to consider an optimization process on such magnetic devices. In this context, the use of a Gmsh and GetDP, open modeling platform, led to the development of precise models, fast enough to be integrated into optimization algorithms. The originality of this modeling approach is based on the hybridization of a numerical approach (3D finite elements) and a semi-analytical approach (permeance network) so that the use of 3D finite elements is reduced to areas where The magnetic field is three-dimensional. Finally, the choice of an optimization algorithm adapted to numerical models (black box with high evaluation cost) allows to develop a pre-design and a design tools for claw-pole synchronous machines in order to obtain an optimized geometry achieving an industrial specification

Modélisation, optimisation en vue du dimensionnement d’une nouvelle structure de démarreurs à griffes pour les véhicules « micro-hybrides » / Modeling, optimization for the design of new claw pole starter structure for "micro-hybrid" vehicles

Bazhar, Sara 12 July 2017 (has links)
A three-dimensional claw pole stator is proposed to replace the current stator in order to reduce its manufacturing cost. The claw pole machine topology is modeled by a reluctance network to take into account the saturation and the magnetic armature reaction. Thanks to its speed and precision, this model is then integrated in an optimization process to obtain an optimal machine. Finally, a prototype of a machine with DC claws is manufactured to show the feasibility of this topology. Moreover, an original model combining reluctance networks and solving the Laplace equation has been developed to overtake some difficulties related to modeling by reluctance network of electrical machines while taking into account the rotation

Controle fuzzy via alocação de pólos com funções de Lyapunov por partes / Fuzzy pole placement based on piecewise Lyapunov functions

Tognetti, Eduardo Stockler 31 March 2006 (has links)
This work presents a controller design method for fuzzy dynamic systems based on piecewise Lyapunov functions with constraints on the closed-loop pole location. The main idea is to use switched controllers to locate the poles of the system to obtain a satisfactory transient response. The pole placement strategy allows to specify the performance in terms of the desired time response of the feedback system. The Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model can approximate the nonlinear system in several linearization points using linear time invariant systems. Thus, a global fuzzy model can be obtained from a fuzzy combination of these linear systems. Stability analysis and design of fuzzy control systems can be efficiently carried out in the context of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). If the fuzzy system is described by many local models, the resulting set of LMIs may be infeasible. The search for a Lyapunov function in the fuzzy pole placement problem may be easier to be satisfied in a piecewise framework. Some results from piecewise linear systems theory have contributed to the development of the presented technique. Some examples are given to illustrate the proposed method.
