In the modern economy, creating agile business processes is one of the conditions to obtain/ maintain competitive advantage on the market. Efficient organizations need to ensure that their business processes are flexible so that these processes can easily accommodate changes in regulations and policies. Actually, the management of business processes is supported by the BPM (Business Process Management) approach. It addresses the management, transformation and improvement of organizational operations. Yet, actual BPM does not feature the means to have a continuous adaptation of their business processes and quick adjustment of their models and resources allocation to meet changing environmental conditions. In this thesis, we aim to support the agility of business processes to ensure a continuous adaptation to changes. The agility of business processes, combined with the agility of employees and that of information technology are prerequisites for achieving business agility. To support agility at IT level, we use the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) approach. Indeed, the SOA can provide numerous benefits to the organization, enabling it to reduce complexity and increase flexibility through their reutilization and modularity features. Moreover, resources which are important assets in successful process’s implementation are widely supported with agile organization regarded as primordial factor for successful agility implementation. For this reason, we propose an approach that combines management of processes with the required skills to their execution and to better enhance the process flexibility we combine BPM with SOA in a social environment.

Previous issue date: 2017-02-07 / In times when business cycle of life is changing, socio-environmental demands gain space in global agenda, technology is also unsettling the relationship among organizations, competitors and customers. Business Transformation is coming to assist companies in transforming their business into this new structure. In this study, shows the creation of a new framework that helps organizations in their process of transformation, enabling them to keep safe in a disruptive technological world, without forgetting socio-environmental demands, it means a new concept called Disruption Process Management (DPM). DPM brings together the main advisors to the transformation of Business Process Management (BPM), Sustainable Development (SD) and Digital Economy (DE), in order to help companies to move towards higher stages of transformation. This new model uses BPM as a basis to restructure organizations' operations. Then, DE concepts are necessary to get about business model and consolidate organizations in the market, focusing on prosumers and digital management. While expansion occurs, organizations need to position themselves regarding socio-environmental issues, so as not to tarnish their reputation and brand. DPM concepts were applied by a study to an Insurer, named Company X's for purposes of confidentiality. That company already has a History of transformations and must keep its competitiveness. As result of this study, it was developed a method of analysis in which it was possible to identify the stage of the organizations transformation the gaps between theory and practice, effectively helping application of BPM, SD and DE, in a practical way. This paper is about a deep research of on Business Transformation in Brazil and is defines a structured method to propose improvements in business management, considering typical internal and external factors of 21st century. As theoretical contribution, it updated the processing model stages from Mckeown and Philip (2003).

從流程觀點進行以RFID為主之U化效益研究─以博物館底片管理為例 / Evaluation of the RFID Information System in Museum Image Archive Management蔡依儒, Tsai, I Ju Unknown Date (has links)
The word "Ubiquitous" originated from Latin, which means god is omnipresent. By using various high-tech products and Internet, the concept of ubiquitous world could be realized. In coordination with U-Taiwan project, our government decided to construct the U-infrastructure using Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) and Radio-frequency identification (RFID). Furthermore, RFID has been widely adopted in many fields, including access control management, product tracking management, health care application, museum information and file management, active/passive gallery tours (e.g., optimum guide route, product information).
Most museum image archive management is done by hand, including preservation, inventory, loaning and return etc. In addition to consume extra manpower, it's also error-prone. While stocktaking or searching, it's more accurate and easier to locate certain product using RFID. Moreover, by using RFID it also promote the performance and enhance the accuracy of image access control management, and reduce the possibility of error occurrence.
However, introducing new technology could also cause other issues because of the impractical lead-in plan. Therefore, through case studies, we want to evaluate the performance of ubiquitous information application using RFID, and choose a museum cultural relics image archive management as our target. Our study analyzes the original operating process using module standardized tools to evaluate the difference in performance after the implementation of RFID.
