Background: The psychology of behavior change and addictive substance users' motivation to get treatment is a topical issue in addictology. The reasons why patients enter treatment vary; they have different goals, and they differ in the degree to which they are able to reflect these goals. To understand addictive behavior, it is necessary to pay attention to all aspects that determine it, i.e. to recognize the abilities, opportunities and motivations of their behavior and their interaction. The topic of patient motivation at the very beginning of the institutional treatment process of addiction, i.e. when entering detox, was not given enough attention in the Czech Republic, despite the fact that detoxification is in many cases the first, indispensable step in starting medium-term and long-term residential treatment of addiction, and work with motivation is a method of direct work with patients. Aims: To map the motivation for treatment of addiction to addictive substances in patients voluntarily hospitalized at the Detox K20department at the Kosmonosy Psychiatric Hospital. <p>Making the work in the public sector more efficient is something that has been seen as necessary during the later years. One way to do this on municipal level has been to apply solutions former used mostly by private companies. The organisational parts have also been adjusted to existing conditions in this work of change. For example more and more municipalities have come to use the purchaser-supplier model since the beginning of the 1990's. Norrköping, Linköping and Motala have been chosen in this essay for a closer study of the effects of the changes of the 90's, from an efficiency point of view. Even the process whereby the changes have been performed has been studied. The result that is being presented is that the purchaser-supplier model in many ways has contributed to an increased consciousness about the existing problems in the work and organisation in the municipalities. At the same time there is critics about the way the model is being used, and about the fact that the application isn't always adjusted to the existing reality.</p>

År 2014 blev komponentavskrivning ett krav för alla bolag som följer K3-regelverket och har materiella anläggningstillgångar med komponenter av betydande värde. K3 är ett principbaserat regelverk vilket innebär att företagen behöver göra sin egen tolkning för hur det ska tillämpas. Den nya redovisningsförändringen innebär att organisationerna måste anpassa deras nuvarande regler och rutiner efter det nya regelverket.Syftet med denna uppsats är att skapa ökad förståelse för förändringsprocessen vid införande av en ny redovisningsstandard och att bidra med större medvetenhet kring dess komplexitet. För att uppnå syftet så användes i studien en kvalitativ metod där det genomfördes sex semi-strukturerade intervjuer. Intervjuerna genomfördes med kommunala fastighetsbolag i Västra Götalands län som alla nyligen infört komponentavskrivning. Den insamlande empirin analyserades sedan med en egenkonstruerad analysmodell med utgångspunkt från tidiga institutionella ekonomin. Genom analysen av den insamlade empirin skapades en ökad förståelse för hur interna regler och rutiner utvecklats i och med införandet av komponentavskrivning.Studien visar att utvecklingen av interna regler och rutiner är en lång process när det saknas vägledning. Motstånd på grund av osäkerhet är en stor bidragande faktor till fördröjningen av införandet. Organisationen behöver vid införandet av en ny redovisningsstandard göra en egen bedömning av vad regeln innebär och hur de ska tillämpa den. Vidare framkom i studien att externa och interna faktorer har stor påverkan på formandet av den interna regeln. / In 2014 component depreciation became a requirement for all who follow the K3 regulatory and have tangible assets with components of significant value. K3 is a principles-based regulatory, which means that companies need to make their own interpretation of how it should be applied. The new accounting change means that organizations must adapt their current rules and routines for the new regulations.The purpose of this paper is to increase understanding of the process of change with the introduction of a new accounting standard and to bring greater awareness of its complexity. To achieve the purpose of the study a qualitative method were used and six semi-structured interviews were conducted. The interviews were conducted with municipal property companies in Västra Götaland county who all recently introduced component depreciation. The collected empirical data were then analyzed with a self-constructed analysis model based of the old institutional economics. Through the analysis of the collected empirical data a greater understanding were created of how internal rules and routines evolved with the introduction of component depreciation.The study shows that the development of internal rules and routines is a long process in the absence of guidance. Resistance due to uncertainty is a major contributing factor to the delay of the introduction. At the introduction of a new accounting standard the organization need to make their own assessment of what the rule means and how to apply it. It also emerged in the study that external and internal factors have great influence on the formation of the internal rule.

A investigação foi realizada por meio de pesquisas bibliográficas, documental e de campo que, ao longo do processo, permitiram acúmulo de conhecimentos acerca do objeto de estudo e possibilitaram análise e compreensão das formas de atualização da gestão das empresas familiares da cidade de Franca. Essas empresas familiares, parte integrante da amostra do presente estudo, foram criadas em períodos propícios que possibilitaram seu crescimento e desenvolvimento. Na década de 1970, as indústrias orientaram a produção para atender o mercado externo e, durante quase duas décadas, conseguiram alcançar desenvolvimento industrial, considerando o volume significativo das exportações que nos anos 1980 atingiram 35% da produção total. No início da década de 1990, essas organizações empresariais, passaram por momentos de transição diante do processo de globalização, dinâmica e abertura internacional dos mercados incluindo políticas econômicas voltadas à estabilização da economia brasileira. Nesse contexto, as empresas familiares foram obrigadas à reestruturação para atender a realidade dos mercados, na expectativa da oferta de produtos mais sofisticados, com maior qualidade e menor preço. O empresariado se preocupou com a competitividade e, para isso, foram necessários investimentos, modernização no sentido de busca por maior tecnologia e processos inovadores de organização e... / The current study had the objective of understanding and explaining the modernization process in the management of the familiar enterprise of the city of Franca-SP, taking into consideration the structural changes occurred and imposed by the productive reestructuration process from the 1990's on. The investigation was realized through documental, bibliographics and from the area researches that, throughout the process, allowed the knowledge accumulation about the study object and enabled the analysis and understanding the upgrade ways in management of the familiar enterprise of the city of Franca. This familiar enterprises, integrating part of the sample of the current study, were created in promising time that possibilted its growth and development. In the 1970s, the industry guided the production to attend the external market and, during almost a couple of decade, they could reach industrial development, considering the significant volume from the exportation that in the 1980's reached 35% of the whole production. At the beginning of the 1990's, these enterprise organizations, has passed by transition moments in front to the globalization process, dynamics and international market opening, including economical politics turned to the stabilization of the Brazilian economy. In this context, the familiar enterprises were foreced to restructure themselves to attend to the market reality, in expectation of offering more sophisticated products, with a better quality and lesser prices. The market opening placed the enterprises in front to great challenges, since the productive and organizational structure was not fully prepared to international demands. The development of an integrated model of the relationship among strategic decision-making process, organisational change and employees' EVLN behavioural responses

As organisations operate in a globalised, competitive and ever-changing environment, the process of making strategic decisions, the introduction and implementation of organisational changes, and employees’ responses towards these changes are typical challenges in organisational life. In this content, the recent financial crisis of 2007-2008 had a profound impact on the Greek economy, as the Greek banking sector had undergone a series of profound organisational changes that were met with a mixed response from employees. The aim of this study is to investigate and propose an integrated theoretical model on the relationship among strategic decision-making process (SDMP), organisational change and employees’ responses to change in Greek banks. To achieve this aim, the SDMP by which organisational changes were introduced in Greek banks, and employees’ EVLN behavioural responses towards these changes are examined. Two questionnaire surveys were conducted and data were collected from 11 CEOs and 78 members of top management teams, and 1,259 Greek bank employees. The study adopted the positivistic approach and data were quantitatively analysed by using the statistical software of SPSS version 2.1 and AMOS version 22.0. The findings suggest that top management teams used their Rationality, Intuition and Political behaviour during SDMP, and different contextual factors had a different impact on this process. Moreover, employees’ EVLN behavioural responses varied depending on the type of organisational change and the level of impact of organisational commitment, job satisfaction and psychological contract breach on their responses. Also, significant differences were found on employees’ responses in terms of their age, gender, educational level, length of service at the bank, position at the bank, and the bank they worked for before the changes. The key contribution to knowledge is that this is the first study that develops an integrated theoretical model that examines the relationship among SDMP, organisational change and employees’ EVLN behavioural responses. It also enhances our knowledge and extends the literature on a number of relationships such as the impact of the antecedents of SDMP on SDMP dimensions, the effect of SDMP dimensions on organisational change, and the impact of different types of organisational change on employees’ EVLN responses. Such contribution has significant implications on making strategic decisions and managing change in times of crises.

Dryckenskap och nykterhetsarbete i Karlstad 1927–1932 : En studie i nykterhetsnämndens verksamhet / Alcohol Consumption and Temperance Work in Karlstad 1927–1932 : A study in the activities of the temperance board

The purpose of the study was to investigate the work of the temperance board in Karlstad during the interwar period and the crisis years when the economic depression affected Sweden, specifically around the year 1930. The focus was on the years 1927–1932, aiming to demonstrate a change in temperance efforts in the city of Karlstad. The study is qualitative with quantitative elements, and data were collected in numerical form to present the statistical findings. The examination involved a careful review of the minutes of the Karlstad City Council found in the annual report of the temperance board. Content analysis was employed to process the material, and the study aimed to answer the following questions: How did public sobriety vary in Karlstad from 1927 to 1932, and to what extent did documented alcohol offenses occur among individuals under 25 during the study period? The source material was analyzed using Anthony Giddens' structuration theory, based on the perspective of change presented by Helena Eriksson in her thesis "Population, Society, and Change." In the analysis section of this study, it is evident how alcohol-related offenses changed, with a noticeable shift from 1927 to 1932, showing a clear decrease in the number of arrests for such offenses during these years. It is also observed that the number of cases processed by the temperance board significantly decreased in 1930, 1931, and 1932. This, in turn, contributed to a noticeable decrease in individuals under 25 years old being apprehended for drunkenness. / Studiens syfte var att undersöka nykterhetsnämndens arbete i Karlstad vid mellankrigstiden och krisåren då den ekonomiska depressionen drabbade Sverige. Närmare bestämt åren omkring 1930. Fokuset låg därför på åren 1927–1932, detta för att kunna påvisa att en förändring skett i nykterhetsarbetet i Karlstads stad. Studien är kvalitativ med kvantitativa inslag och därför samlades data in i numerisk form för att sedan presentera det statistiska som framkommit. Undersökningen bygger på att noggrant granska Karlstads stadsfullmäktiges protokoll som återfinns i nykterhetsnämndens årsredovisning. En innehållsanalys användes för att behandla materialet och de frågeställningar som studien skulle besvara var följande: Hur varierade folknykterheten i Karlstad 1927–1932 samt vilken omfattning hade den dokumenterade dryckenskapen bland individer under 25 år under undersökningsperioden? Källmaterialet har analyserats med hjälp Anthony Giddens struktureringsteori utifrån det förändringsperspektiv som presenterades av Helena Eriksson i hennes avhandling Befolkning, samhälle och förändring.   I analysdelen av denna studie framgår det hur fylleriförseelserna förändras och att en märkbar förändring skett från 1927 och fram till 1932 och att man tydligt kan se en minskning på antalet anhållna för fylleriförseelser mellan nämnda år. Man ser också att antalet ärenden som nykterhetsnämnden behandlat minskar avsevärt år 1930, 1931 och 1932. Detta bidrog i sin tur också till att en märkbar minskning skedde bland individer under 25 år anhållna för dryckenskap.

The development of meaningful alternative descriptions of a painful situation within which people find themselves could create the possibility of movement taking place. · The development of alternative descriptions was discussed by means of the following components of a therapeutic conversation: The therapist uses the different punctuations of the family in their description of the problem and takes complementary descriptions into consideration. (Punctuation/complementation.) In the description of alternative realities the therapist uses a language that creates hope for change. (Reframing.) The therapist listens to the family with respect and endeavours to hear the family's themes, to understand and to use them. (Language.) The therapist, by asking questions of which the answers facilitate further questions, accepts the responsibility to facilitate discussions that encourage participation in the therapeutic process. (Participation/questions leading to further questions.) The discussion was based on a constructivist approach. A case history was described to illustrate how meaningful alternative descriptions were developed in a therapeutic conversation. / In hierdie studie is 'n beskrywing van die ontwikkeling van betekenisvolle alternatiewe konstruksies gegee. Die ontwikkeling van alternatiewe beskrywings vir 'n pynlike situasie waarin mense hulle bevind kan die moontlikheid skep dat beweging plaasvind.
