It arises with the own school and is presente, in the course of history, in all societies. Even thought there are others teaching resources and technological advances, we understand the textbook as a precursor at the teacher and the student which measures the construction of knowledge and that is parto f the culture of many generations. Even with many transformations in society, the textbook still remains with relevant attribution in the teaching and learning process. In the Brazilian context, the public policies regarding textbooks count on the Textbook National Program - PNLD, responsible for the organization of the process of selection and distribution of textbooks to the students of the public educational institutions in the country. In doing so, with the objective of investigating which elements characterize the selection process of Science textbook for the municipal public school of Cascavel - PR. We opted for qualitative research in order to characterize the level of involvement of teachers, the guidelines and selection criteria of Science textbooks established by the responsible agencies. In the course of the study, three typs of scientific research were used: field research, bibliographical research and documentary research. The questionnaire was the data collection instrument used, applied to the teachers of the 5th grade of elementar school and to the pedagogical coordinators, responsible for organizing the selection process in municipal schools. We also used audio interviews recorded with the pedagogical coordinators responsible for organizing the selection process in Cascavel - PR. The data were organized in categories and subcategories were established based on content analysis, according to Bardin (2016), which allowed us to conclude that the process of selecting the textbook of Sciences for Elementary School, initial years in the municipality of Cascavel - PR, Occurred in a quick way, in a short period of time. This made the participation of teachers small, even though the municipality followed the guidelines passed by the Ministry of Education and have desired to involve all those the teaching and learning process. / Acompanhado do currículo o livro didático foi instituído como um dos principais instrumentos utilizados nas instituições de ensino para abordar e transpor os conhecimentos científicos acumulados pela humanidade. Surge com a própria escola e se apresenta no percurso da história, em todas as sociedades. Apesar da existência de outros recursos didáticos e dos avanços tecnológicos disponíveis, compreendemos o livro didático como recurso precursor de informações a préstimo do professor e do estudante, mediando à construção do conhecimento, fazendo parte da cultura de muitas gerações. Mesmo ao longo de tantas transformações da sociedade, o livro ainda hoje permanece com relevante atribuição no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. No contexto brasileiro, as políticas públicas referentes aos livros didáticos contam com o Programa Nacional do Livro Didático – PNLD, responsável pela organização do processo de seleção e distribuição das obras didáticas aos estudantes das instituições públicas de ensino do país. Dessa forma, com o objetivo de investigar quais elementos caracterizam o processo de seleção do livro didático de Ciências para a escola pública municipal de Cascavel-PR, optamos pela pesquisa qualitativa no intuito de realizar a caracterização tanto em nível de envolvimento dos professores, como das orientações e critérios de seleção dos livros didáticos de Ciências estabelecidos pelos órgãos responsáveis. No percurso do estudo foram utilizadas três modalidades de pesquisa científica: a pesquisa de campo, a pesquisa bibliográfica e a pesquisa documental. Como instrumento de coleta de dados utilizou o questionário com os professores regentes dos 5º anos do Ensino Fundamental e com os coordenadores pedagógicos escolares, responsáveis pela organização do processo de seleção nas escolas municipais. Também fizemos uso de entrevistas áudio gravadas com os coordenadores pedagógicos municipais responsáveis pela organização do processo de seleção no referido município. No tratamento dos dados foram estabelecidas categorias e subcategorias com base na análise de conteúdo, segundo Bardin (2016), o que permitiu concluirmos que o processo de seleção do livro didático de Ciências para o Ensino Fundamental anos iniciais no município de Cascavel-PR, transcorreu de maneira aligeirada, num curto período de tempo, acarretando uma ínfima participação dos professores, apesar do município ter seguido as orientações repassadas pelo Ministério da Educação e almejado a participação de todos os envolvidos no processo de ensino e aprendizagem.

However, the organizations, the desire to hire a candidate with higher qualification and best suited to the role profile, using aspects of research that does not aim to evaluate the fitness professional, violating the intimacy and privacy of the applicant. From this perspective, the overall goal of this research is to verify the requirements in the selection processes of candidates in the companies of the trade in the municipality of Francisco Beltran-PR industry. The study is qualitative and quantitative. The sample consisted of 139 companies identified from the Trade Union of the Municipality. Data collection took place from the 04th to 10th November 2014, by applying a questionnaire to the companies responsible for hiring the city trade sector. Data were analyzed using the statistical method of cluster, using the software SPSS 18. The results showed that the participants practice discriminatory conduct, requiring candidates personal and professional references (81%). The survey also revealed that 50% of companies require a good-looking candidates, as well as appropriate dress and behavior (74%) and 52% elect age as an important requirement for hiring, with 56% of participants perform in consultation bodies SPC and the credit bureau. With regard to the requirement of time in previous employment, 74% of participating companies consider as an important requirement in hiring. Furthermore, 65% would not hire pregnant women candidates and 84% consider the use of chemicals. We conclude that, despite the constitutional protection and all existing legal apparatus, the companies of the trade of Francisco Beltran sector during the pre-contractual stage practice discriminatory acts. / O processo de seleção e recrutamento têm como propósito escolher os profissionais que mais atendam ao perfil requerido pela vaga a ser preenchida na empresa, utilizando requisitos e métodos para avaliação do comportamento humano. No entanto, as organizações, no anseio de contratar um candidato com maior qualificação e com o perfil mais adequado à função, se utiliza de investigação de aspectos que não visam avaliar a aptidão profissional, violando a intimidade e a vida privada do candidato. Nessa perspectiva, o objetivo geral da presente pesquisa é verificar os requisitos exigidos nos processos de seleção dos candidatos nas empresas do setor do comércio do município de Francisco Beltrão-PR. O estudo é quali-quantitativo. A amostra foi composta de 139 empresas, identificadas a partir do Sindicato do Comércio do município. A coleta dos dados ocorreu entre 04 a 10 de Novembro de 2014, mediante a aplicação de um questionário ao setor responsável pela contratação de empresas do comércio da cidade. Os dados foram analisados através do método estatístico de cluster, utilizando-se do software PASW 18. Os resultados mostraram que as participantes praticam conduta discriminatória, exigindo dos candidatos referências pessoais e profissionais (81%). A pesquisa também revelou que 50% das empresas exigem uma boa aparência dos candidatos, bem como vestimenta e comportamento adequado (74%) e 52% elegem a idade como requisito importante para a contratação, sendo que 56% das participantes realizam consulta nos órgãos de do SERASA e SPC. No que se refere à exigência de tempo no emprego anterior, 74% das empresas participantes consideram como requisito importante na contratação. Ademais, 65% não contratariam candidatas gestantes e 84% levam em consideração a utilização de substâncias químicas. Conclui-se que, apesar da proteção constitucional e de todo aparato legislativo existente, as empresas do setor do comércio de Francisco Beltrão, durante a fase pré-contratual praticam atos discriminatórios.

In order to achieve such target, many organizations have acquired business intelligence systems. The process of selecting this kind of system is difficult and different from the one used for other business acquisitions. Furthermore, it is influenced by intangible factors, which renders the application of the usual financial analysis techniques to support investment decisions impossible. It can then be said that the choice of business intelligence software is based on a set of factors, both tangible and intangible. This study aims mainly at identifying and establishing a ranking of the principal factors that influence the decision of choosing among business intelligence systems, and focused companies in the real estate development business operating in the Great São Paulo area. It also tries to identify – among the list of factors raised – the possible existence of aspects that determine the choice decision. The search was carried out by interviewing 12 people who have participated in any processes of choice of business intelligence system decision. Some of the interviewees work in IT, whereas others are in the business areas of seven real estate development companies operating in the Great São Paulo area. The evaluation of the research resulted in the identification of the most important factors and their hierarchical classification, enabling the establishment of a statistically valid ranking according to the Kendal’s coefficient of concordance, showing the 14 most influent factors in the choice decision. From that total, only 3 could be classified as determining or non-determining; the remainder did not provide answer patterns statistically valid for conclusions. After analysing the selection process followed by the 7 companies in the present research, two phases influenced by distinct factors were detected. Later, studying those phases together with the identified factors in the ranking, it was possible to propose a selection process aiming at a possible reduction of time and costs for the achievement of such activity. The theoretical contribution of this study is to complement the researches that identify the factors that influence the process of systems choice decision, specifically business intelligence ones, as it establishes a ranking of importance for the items identified, and also the relationship among important factors and specific phases in the process of selection herein identified. / O cenário empresarial atual leva as empresas a terem atuações cada vez mais dinâmicas, buscando utilizar as informações disponíveis de modo a melhorar seu processo de decisão. Com esse objetivo, diversas organizações têm adquirido sistemas de business intelligence. O processo de seleção de sistemas é difícil, diferente do utilizado em outras aquisições empresariais e sofre influência de diversos aspectos intangíveis, o que impossibilita o uso das técnicas de análise financeira normalmente utilizadas pelas companhias para apoiar decisões de investimento. Dessa forma, pode-se dizer que a decisão de escolha de um software de business intelligence é baseada em um conjunto de fatores tanto tangíveis quanto intangíveis. Este trabalho teve como objetivo principal identificar e estabelecer um ranking dos principais fatores que influenciam a decisão de escolha entre sistemas de business intelligence, tendo como foco empresas do setor de incorporação imobiliária atuantes na grande São Paulo e como objetivo secundário procurar identificar a possível existência de aspectos determinantes para a decisão de escolha entre a lista de fatores apurados. Essa pesquisa foi realizada através de doze entrevistas com pessoas que participaram de processos de decisão de escolha de sistemas de business intelligence, sendo algumas da área de TI e outras de área de negócio, atuantes em sete empresas incorporadoras da grande São Paulo. Essa avaliação teve como resultado a identificação dos fatores mais importantes e a sua classificação hierárquica, possibilitando a apuração de um ranking composto pelos catorze fatores mais influentes na decisão de escolha e statisticamente válido segundo o coeficiente de concordância de Kendall. Desse total, apenas três puderam ser classificados como determinantes ou não determinantes; o restante não apresentou padrões de resposta estatisticamente válidos para permitir conclusões sobre esse aspecto. Por fim, após a análise dos processos de seleção utilizados pelas sete empresas dessa pesquisa, foram observadas duas fases, as quais sofrem influência de distintos fatores. Posteriormente, estudando-se essas fases em conjunto com os fatores identificados no ranking, pôde-se propor um processo de seleção visando uma possível redução de tempo e custo para a realização dessa atividade. A contribuição teórica deste trabalho está no fato de complementar as pesquisas que identificam os fatores de influência no processo de decisão de escolha de sistemas, mais especificamente de business intelligence, ao estabelecer um ranking de importância para os itens identificados e também o relacionamento de fatores de importância a fases específicas do processo de seleção identificadas neste trabalho.
