The issue of victims of sexual offences and their protection through criminal law Abstract The theme of this diploma thesis refers to the issue of victims of sexual offences and their protection through criminal law. This thesis aims to theoretically analyse this issue, describe the specifics of the victimisation process, and focus on protecting victims of sexual offences through criminal law. The author also asks in the introduction why these victims are victimised by so many. It also evaluates the legislation in selected areas and suggests possible changes in the legislation. The thesis itself is divided into six chapters, each of which deals with different aspects of this theme. The first chapter deals with the current legislation on selected crimes of rape, sexual abuse and sexual coercion. The author also discusses the degree of their latency, which is relatively high in crimes against human dignity in the sexual field. The second chapter defines the various concepts related to the issue of victims of sexual offences. These are terms such as victim, particularly vulnerable victim or false victim. Organized crime - Trafficking in human beings This thesis deals with the criminal offence of trafficking in human beings under Sec. 168 of the Czech Criminal Code. A trafficking in human being is not a frequent criminal offence but with its consequences belongs to the most dangerous crimes. After the Velvet revolution the relevance of this crime has raised subsequently and therefore the regulation of this crime requires particular attention. It is important to find new ways and improve current methods to be readier to detect and investigate the cases of trafficking in human beings. The aim of this thesis is to provide an analysis of legal regulation of trafficking in human beings, organized crimed and methods of investigation and some related issues such as problematic of the protection of the witness. This thesis consists of three chapters. The first one deals shortly with the organized crime. The name of this thesis is Media presentation of sexual abuse of children and it aims to describe in which way the media present offenders and victims of sexual abuse of children and apply these findings to legal and ethical context of offenders and victims protection. The theoretical part of this thesis describes sociocultural regulations and specification of sexual abuse focusing on children victims and adult offenders and, later on, their protection by law. Media and its function related to the rules of publishing information applied to information about sexual abuse is introduced. The practical part contains a content analysis of sexual abuse of children in the printed media. Such terms have been analyzed which are used for the description of the offender, the victim and the act in articles dealing with sexual abuse, which have been published in the Blesk and Mladá Fronta magazines during one month. The analysis has shown that the identity of the victims and offenders is not being protected enough and that in some cases the procedural rights of some of the offenders are not upheld. Les États doivent développer les stratégies nécessaires pour faire face aux multiples manifestations qui accompagnent le phénomène et exigent une approche holistique, interdisciplinaire et à long terme. Les stratégies nord-américaines de prévention de la traite comportent plusieurs lacunes qui vulnérabilisent certains groupes. Tandis que les mesures déjà en place s'attaquent peu aux causes premières du phénomène, plusieurs réformes essentielles afin de diminuer la vulnérabilité de ces personnes, notamment l'assouplissement des politiques migratoires restrictives, tardent à être implantées. Parallèlement, les stratégies de protection présentent des lacunes qui augmentent les risques de revictimisation des victimes de traite d'êtres humains. D'une part, les autorités n'identifient pas adéquatement toutes les victimes. D'autre part, certaines victimes, bien qu'identifiées, se retrouvent sans protection, soit parce que celle-ci est accordée de façon conditionnelle, soit parce que les mécanismes d'assistance demeurent incomplets. / In North America, the fight against human trafficking is of the utmost complexity. In order to tackle the numerous aspects surrounding this phenomenon, States must develop strategies using a holistic, interdisciplinary and long term approach. North American trafficking prevention strategies comprise many deficiencies which cause certain groups of individuals to be more vulnerable. While the measures already in place fail to target the root causes of the phenomenon, many reforms essential to the diminution of those persons ' vulnerability, namely the alleviation of restrictive migration policies, have yet to take place. Similarly, deficiencies existing in protection strategies increase the risks of revictimisation of human trafficking victims. On the one hand, state authorities fail to adequately identify all the victims. On the other hand, some victims, although identified as such, remain without protection, either because it is granted on a conditional basis or because support mechanisms remain insufficient.

L’Arabie Saoudite a été exposée, pendant la dernière décennie, à des actes terroristes menés par une classe déviante de certains de ses enfants, influencés par une mauvaise pensée et une compréhension confuse. Le gouvernement a entrepris de réagir fermement et sévèrement contre ces groupes déviants par tous les moyens et en ayant recours aux forces de sécurité et aux militaires. Les affrontements entre les forces militaires et ce groupe déviant ont conduit à la mort d'un certain nombre de militaires pendant l'exercice de leur devoir de défense de la patrie. Toutes les nations, à travers l'histoire, ont eu à coeur d’honorer comme des héros nationaux ceux qui étaient morts dans les batailles et les guerres, qui avaient donné leur vie et versé leur sang pour sauver leur patrie et leur nation. Cette reconnaissance inclut d’honorer les familles des morts et leurs proches. Par conséquent, le gouvernement du Royaume d'Arabie Saoudite a tenu à offrir des services sociaux complets aux familles des victimes du terrorisme. Cette étude révèle les efforts déployés par le ministère de l'Intérieur dans la fourniture de l'aide sociale aux familles des victimes après la perte de leur soutien. La société saoudienne se caractérise par sa foi dans les liens sociaux ; à ce titre, ces victimes méritent d'être reconnues, et leur famille, qui a été confiée à la communauté après avoir perdu le soutien que représentait, pour elle, la victime, mérite attention et protection sociale. / Saudi Arabia has been exposed, over the last decade, to terrorist acts on the hands of a deviant group of people, influenced by wrong thoughts and chaotic perspectives. The Government has undertaken to, firmly and strictly, respond to these deviant groups by all means through its security and military institutions. The combats between the military forces and this deviant group have led to the kill of a number of soldiers during doing their duty to defend their homeland. All nations, throughout history, have been keening on honoring their national heroes; the victims, those who had died in battles and wars against terrorism paying their lives and blood for the sake of their country, and consequently, their nation. This appreciation extends to include honoring the victims’ families. Therefore, the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been committed to providing them with a comprehensive social care as a kind of appreciation for their efforts. This study reveals the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to provide the victims’ families with social assistance as victims of their boundless loss. It focuses on analyzing the subsidies offered for those special cases in different situations and its influence on them socially and psychologically. Saudi society is characterized by its faith in social ties; as such, these victims and their families deserve recognition and appreciation especially after losing their own support.
