Introduktion: Nästan 6,5 miljoner människor har mist sina liv i Covid-19. Barnmorskan har stöd i lagen att ha en säker arbetsplats och ska inte bli smittad av Covid-19 på arbetsplatsen. Patienten har stöd i lagen och ska inte bli smittad av Covid-19 på sjukhuset. Barnmorskan ska ge patienten en säker vård och arbetsgivaren har en skyldighet att verktyg finns till detta. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva hur barnmorskor upplevde smittskyddssäkerheten för sig och sina patienter på förlossningar under Covid-19 pandemin i Sverige. Metod: Intervjustudie med 6 barnmorskor på förlossningar. Innehållsanalys med manifesttolkning. Resultat: Barnmorskor har upplevt att de varit oskyddade på sin arbetsplats för de har inte haft en säker skyddsutrustning eller tillgång till en säker skyddsutrustning. De har inte upplevt att munskydd och visir kommer att skydda dem mot Covid-19. Barnmorskor har inte upplevt att patienterna varit skyddade då det inte funnits en säker skyddsutrustning, man har inte testat alla, friska och sjuka patienter har inte separerats. Barnmorskor har inte upplevt stöd från chefer för att kunnage en säker vård. Brister i smittskyddssäkerheten har skapat etiska dilemman där barnmorskor varit rädda för att bli smittade eller för att smitta patienterna. De har tvivlat gällande sitt yrkesval då deras hälsa riskeras. Slutsats: Barnmorskor måste få tillgång till en säker skyddsutrustning. Barnmorskor måste få tillgång till verktyg såsom, testning, kohortvård, separera friska och sjuka patienter så att de kan ge patienterna en säker vård. Staten måste bidra till organisationers och samhällets health literacy. Chefer måste stötta barnmorskor att bedriva en säker vård. / Introduction: Almost 6.5 million people have lost their lives to COVID-19. The midwife has support in the law to have a safe workplace and must not be infected by COVID-19 in the workplace. The patient has support in the law and should not be infected by COVID-19 when they need care in the hospital. The midwife must provide the patient with safe care and the employer has an obligation to provide the midwife with tools for this. Aim: The aim was to describe how midwives experienced the safety of infection control for themselves and for their patients during deliveries during the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden. Methods: Interview study with 6 midwives at births. Content analysis with manifest interpretation. Results: Midwives have experienced that they were unprotected in their workplace because they did nothave safe protective equipment. They have not experienced that mouth guards and visors will protect them against COVID-19. Midwives did not feel that the patients were protected as there was no safe protective equipment, everyone was not tested, healthy and sick patients were not separated. Midwives have not experienced support from managers to be able to provide safecare. Shortcomings in infection prevention safety have created ethical dilemmas where midwives have been afraid of becoming infected or of infecting the patients. They have doubts about their choice of profession as their health is at risk. Conclusion: Midwives must have access to safe protective equipment and a safe workplace. Midwives must have access to tools such as, testing, cohort care, separating healthy and sick patients so they can provide patients with safe care. The state must contribute to the health literacy of organizations and society. Managers must support midwives to provide safe care.

Syfte: Examensarbetet syftar till att undersöka var företagsverksamheter inom trafiksäkerhet och tillfällig trafikledning kan tillämpa visuell artificiell intelligens (AI) för att uppnå en säkrare, miljövänligare och mer kostnadseffektiv verksamhet.  Frågeställningar: “Hur kan tillämpning av visuell artificiell intelligens användas för identifiering av temporära skyddsanordningar vid vägarbeten?”; “Hur kan tillämpning av visuell artificiell intelligens användas för identifiering av personlig skyddsutrustning vid vägarbeten?”; och “Vilka förändringar kan ske gällande företagsverksamhetens säkerhet, kostnader och koldioxidutsläpp vid tillämpningen av visuell artificiell intelligens vid vägarbeten?”. Metod: Denna studie utfördes med en abduktiv ansats och en mixad forskningsdesign. Där en teoretisk referensram utifrån vetenskapliga artiklar och en empiriinsamling bestående av en fallstudie, intervjuer med anställda, och beräkningar baserat på data från fallföretaget analyserades för att besvara studiens frågeställningar. Slutsats: Genom att adressera utmaningarna och utnyttja möjligheterna som teknologin erbjuder kan AI-kameror vara ett värdefullt verktyg för att främja en säkrare och mer hållbar arbetsmiljö vid vägarbeten samt en mer gynnsam verksamhet. Genom att tillämpa visuell artificiell intelligens, för att identifiera korrekt användning av personlig skyddsutrustning vid vägarbeten och kombinera det med manuella inspektioner, kan säkerheten för arbetare förbättras och korrekt användning av personlig skyddsutrustning (PPE) säkerställas. Slutligen indikerar studien att tillämpning av visuell artificiell intelligens vid vägarbeten har potential att förbättra säkerheten för arbetare, trafikanter och civilpersoner runtom, minska kostnaderna för företagen och minska miljöpåverkan genom minskade koldioxidutsläpp. / Aim: This thesis aims to investigate how businesses within traffic safety and temporary traffic management can apply visual artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve safer, more environmentally friendly, and cost-effective operations. Research questions: “How can the application of visual artificial intelligence be used for identifying temporary protective devices on road construction sites?”; “How can the application of visual artificial intelligence be used for identifying personal protective equipment on road construction sites?”; and “What changes can occur regarding the company's operational safety, costs, and carbon emissions with the application of visual artificial intelligence on road construction sites?”. Methodology: This study was conducted using an abductive approach and a mixed research design. A theoretical framework based on scientific articles and an empirical data collection consisting of a case study, interviews with employees, and calculations based on data from the case company were analyzed to answer the study’s research questions. Conclusion: By addressing the challenges and leveraging the opportunities that technology offers, AI cameras can be a valuable tool in promoting a safer and more sustainable work environment on road construction sites, as well as for more favorable operations for companies. By applying visual artificial intelligence to identify correct usage of personal protective equipment on road construction sites and combining it with manual inspections, worker safety can be improved, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) can be ensured. Finally, the study indicates that the application of visual artificial intelligence on road construction sites has the potential to improve the safety of workers, road users, and civilians nearby, reduce costs for companies and decrease environmental impacts by reducing carbon emissions.

The aim of my thesis on the subject of "The Assesment of the number of the population in the South Bohemian region Applying to the Unpremediated Particular Protection in the Exceptional Case of the Release of Dangerous Substances" is to judge the informational margin about individual protection of the inhabitants in the South Bohemian Region, the standardizated equipment of protection and improvised equipment of protection, and about the possible risk of dangerous substances leakage in the place of their living. This information, which has been obtained by means of questionnaires, shall demonstrate how many people are going to use improvised individual protection and how many people are going to use standardizated equipment for protection in the case of extraordinary events with the escape of dangerous substances. In the description of the current situation, there is an overview of the laws and the establishment of the basic concepts related to individual protection. The practical part deals with the evaluation of these questionnaires that were accidentally distributed to the residents of the South Bohemia Region, and there is also a summary of this information within a comprehensive overview, including the division of the point of view between men and women or among people with different educational backgrounds. Preventative educational work among the population will contribute to higher protection during these extraordinary events regarding the escape of dangerous substances. The aim is to have a decrease in the health hazard and limitations of waste of human lifes. The most important result of my thesis are the findings that 82 % of the inhabitants in the South Bohemian Region are going to use improvised individual protection in the case of necessity.
