Previous issue date: 2018-04-27 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / The present dissertation has as object of study the process of psychic rebirth lived under
analysis. It is intended to present and discuss the analysis, as a possibility of psychic rebirth.
More specifically, the proposition was to analyse the process that involves this phenomenon, in
the dialectical movement to idealize and "de-idealize", considering the experience through the
Oedipal situation and depressive position, with the report and discussion of two clinical cases.
This dissertation was guided by the psychoanalytical method. The psychoanalytic theoretical
framework underpinned this study and its analysis, with Melanie Klein, Winnicott and Balint
as main authors. In both cases under analysis, it was possible to follow the experience of psychic
rebirth. In this program, patients were able to retrieve their experience with the good object and
then proceeded and progressed towards the elaboration of the depressive position and Oedipal
situation. In the journey of analysis, the patient's need was considered, in the sense of regressing
to both dual and idealized relationships with the analyst object; lasting in that more dependent
performance, for the time necessary, to meet his/her needs; and thereby ensure a secure and
safe environment in which the good object could be retrieved and then trust it. Thus, the
relations with the analyst object and, consequently, with the other objects, went from ideal to
more integrated and, therefore, the patients at issue could acquire more resources before the

Previous issue date: 2007-06-22 / This work has the intention of questioning the terms in which the approach
of the analyst-patient relationship is given, in psychoanalysis. The proposition is
that is it possible for the analyst to listen to the patient and to be permitted to use
sensibility as part of the technical heritage, without taking refuge in a previous
theoretical framework to orient his or her listening.
The Wounded Centaur serves the text as key-metaphor in this relationship,
given that, according to this ancestral myth, the very disciple that had wounded
Quiron/analyst (by imploding the supposed knowledge), is also the one who
facilitated the cure (providing the insight that untangles the setting).
Chapter I presents by means of a paradigmatic case-analysis situations that
lead to the questioning of some common places of psychoanalytic theory. Chapter II
introduces, in the light of the Multiple Fields Theory, the principal concepts with
which to confront the impasses of clinical practice. Chapter III shows these concepts
in action in the referred case-analysis, to reach a conclusion pertaining to the
interaction between analyst (wounded healer) and patient (disciple that wounds).
With that, it is hoped to demonstrate the viability of taking up again the prime
Freudian posture, restoring patient and his or her discourse, at the center of the

Previous issue date: 2007-10-03 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / As we were touched by the Sarah case, a scrutiny was performed about the concept of Countertransference which was framed by authors whom highlighted its relevance throughout a psychoanalytical treatment. Among them, we regard Pierre Fédida as the one who amplified and brought the matter into a deeper understanding, as he considered the Metapsychology within the psychological processes of the therapist upon the psychoanalysis technique. The articulations of the case in question, allied with such thought, are the cornerstones of this thesis which understands Countertransference as an inherent mechanism to the analytical scenario and thus, adequate as prescribed therapy. Therefore, a specific comprehension was sought about this technique developed by Freud which has dreaming as its basic paradigm. A thought was also given about its methodology by Ferenczi, based upon cases which were reckoned to be difficult to deal with and aliens to his own arena, fact which provoked increasing scientific publications on the topic of countertransferencial effects in the analysis. The major characteristic of this research has its core on the topic of the first objectional relationships in a baby s psychological constitution which turns to be the transferencial basis upon which the therapist intervene in a patient s psychism. From this perspective, Fédida supported the inherent model of countertransference as a fictional relationship, mother-son-like, capable of becoming both resonant and contigent to a patient s state of anguish and hence proper to the treatment. In the Sarah case the Countertransference s Auto-Transgression, a critical scenario during the analysis, permited the patient to both metabolize and metaphorize his psycologhical suffering / Mobilizados pelo estudo do caso Sarah realizamos uma investigação do conceito de contratransferência formulado por autores, que destacam sua relevância no tratamento psicanalítico.

Previous issue date: 2017-04-28 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / Palliative care (PC) is a new practice in the world and in Brazil, and even more recent
with children. This study was developed in a palliative care setting. Its purpose is to
reflect on psychoanalytic care of children in PC, their families, the health team and on
the psychoanalyst. With psychoanalysis as a theoretical, technical and ethical
reference, a three case study was developed which provided the opportunity to
observe how psychoanalytic care occurs in this special condition. The traumatic
potential present in the situational dimension tends to cause changes in the Self of
the patients and their relatives, who present a psychic functioning and suffering,
similar to the psychopathological dimension, such as narcissistic-identity disorders.
Through this process, children and their families lose, even temporarily, some
important Ego functions to face the circumstances, such as the capacity for
mediation, organization, synthesis and integration of the elements present in the
situational dimension. This requires that the analyst assume the deficient Ego
functions until the people involved gradually rescue the dormant skills. It is as a
mediator that the analyst can be a transformational object and enables the
psychoanalytic work, the construction of meaning and the elaboration of experience.
It is predominantly a more active care with an additional amount of implied presence,
although the analyst has to keep, dialectically, the reserved presence which is
essential for self-restraint, self-care and to avoid intrusion caused by the excess of

Previous issue date: 2007-06-01 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / The purpose of this paper is to discuss what happens during a psychoanalytic experience, when something with a potential for change and growth is generated and what kind of linking favors it. Also, it runs through a fundamental psychic phenomenon of a specific symbiotic quality, capable of a high degree of regenerative and/or constitutive parts of the self.
This paper is justified by the fact that more and more the psychoanalytic process has been seen as a result of the pair s interpenetration (transference/ countertransference) and for what is stimulated in the analyst as knowledge about his/her patient psychodynamics.
Some clinical hypotheses have been put forward to explain the occurrences of phenomena that are analogous to a kind of immersion in affectionate dimensions of low awareness but necessary to achieve a deep affectionate interaction that would keep symbiotic fusion fantasies. Seven topics are highlighted in order to corroborate to the institution of a link that could support this symbiotic process and the intensity of the emotions present on it: comprehension, love, confidence, loss, truth, companionship and closeness X distance.
Results of this research related to clinical aspects are the maternal holding function, as an integrating experience that follows and supports moments of turbulence, a kind of safety net under the trapeze offering security and also the phenomenon of a symbiosis as a fundamental constitutive part of the psychism. This development of the libido previous to the PS ↔ D oscillation could be part of the same dynamics and then, would be turned into a three-part circulation process: symbiotic, disintegrated, integrated / O objetivo do trabalho é discutir o que acontece na experiência do encontro analítico, na qual gera-se algo com potencial de mudança e crescimento e qual o tipo de ligação que o favorece.
