Esta tese apresenta o campo emergente e dinâmico da Justiça Restaurativa, que se caracteriza por lidar de forma transversal com práticas e saberes de diferentes áreas, e suas possibilidades na educação. Dialogando com os temas do justo e da política, indaga sobre quais os valores que possibilitam a educação para a política, a cidadania e a ação em comum. Sugere que a Justiça Restaurativa potencializa o controle dos sujeitos, o dos outros e sobre si mesmo e, no caso brasileiro, também a instauração dos direitos humanos. Apresenta os contornos do debate sobre a Justiça Restaurativa passando pela origem, desenvolvimento, diversificação, protagonistas, apresentação de algumas práticas no mundo e no Brasil, sua ligação com a psicanálise e, no nível macro, sua aplicação enquanto política de reconciliação. Expõe a reflexão teórica por meio do debate dos conceitos de justiça justa, reconhecimento, perdão, verdade, reconciliação e cidadania, recorrendo a autores da sociologia, filosofia e antropologia. Delineia a formação para a Justiça Restaurativa do Centro de Direitos Humanos e Educação Popular, na cidade de São Paulo, no intuito de perceber como os educadores que trabalham com jovens em conflito com a lei, a partir de sua prática para formar sujeitos de direito, avaliam os conceitos aprofundados. Conclui que a reflexão sobre a Justiça Restaurativa é uma tentativa de favorecer a educação para a cidadania, para formar sujeitos de direito, capazes de assumir responsabilidade no mundo a partir de sua prática para formar sujeitos de direito, capazes de assumir responsabilidade no mundo político, dando maior consistência ao propósito de restaurar o justo e instaurar o direito. / This thesis presents the emerging and dynamic field of Restorative Justice which is characterized by its dealing in a transversal manner with practices and knowledge in different areas and its possibilities in education. Dialoguing with the themes of the just, fair process and active participation in public life, the thesis investigates which values make possible an education for political participation, citizenship and action in common. It suggests that Restorative Justice or brings about an increased control of the subjects involved, others and oneself, and in the case of Brazil, also the instauration of human rights. This thesis presents configurations of the debate about Restorative Justice examining its origin, development, diversification and protagonists, as well as a presentation of some practices in the world and in Brazil, its connection with psychoanalysis, and on the macro level, its application as a public policy of reconciliation. It exposes a theoretical reflection by means of a debate about the concepts of a just justice, acknowledgement, forgiveness, reconciliation and citizenship, reviewing the recourses of authors of sociology, philosophy and anthropology. The thesis sketches out the formation program for Restorative Justice at the Center for Human Rights and Popular Education (Centro de Direitos Humanos e Educação Popular) in the city of São Paulo, with the intention of perceiving how the educators who work with adolescent offenders, from the viewpoint of their practices, evaluate these well-developed concepts. The thesis concludes that the reflection on Restorative Justice is an effort to favor an education for citizenship, to form participants active in their rights, capable of assuming responsibilities in the political world, giving greater consistency to the proposition of restoring the just and installing rights.

For this, the thesis will use the line-critical methodology, and research the type-legal and historical literature. The way to exercise citizenship in the public sphere is extremely important for the conduct of relations between human beings and their fellow citizens, and can contribute to reducing social inequalities and social exclusion. And during each historical period, techniques or technologies of information and communication were not only support for the spread of knowledge, but to bring together groups that had converging interests, be they articulated for the realization of the public, private or common interest. The concentration of these techniques or technologies by a small group of society causes imbalance in the social life, since it is the latent power of manipulation that accompanies the use of these means of transmission of the language. / O objetivo da presente dissertação é analisar os impactos da utilização das novas tecnologias de informação e comunicação para o processo democrático, à luz da teoria constitucional democrática e verificar se as políticas públicas de inclusão digital rural do Governo Federal são democráticas e constitucionais. Para isto, será usada a tese da linha crítico-metodológica, bem como a investigação do tipo histórico-jurídico e a pesquisa bibliográfica. A maneira de se exercer a cidadania na esfera pública é de extrema relevância para a condução das relações do ser humano com seus concidadãos, e pode contribuir para a redução das desigualdades sociais e para a exclusão social. E durante cada período histórico, as técnicas ou tecnologias de informação e comunicação foram não apenas o suporte para a propagação do conhecimento, mas para reunir grupos que tinham interesses convergentes, fossem eles articulados para a realização do bem público, do interesse comum ou privado. A concentração destas técnicas ou tecnologias por parte de um grupo restrito da sociedade provoca desequilíbrio no convívio social, uma vez que é latente o poder de manipulação que acompanha o uso destes meios de transmissão da linguagem.

This master's thesis studies Utländska biblioteket, a 19th century foreign literature subscription library in Karlskrona, Sweden. The aim of the thesis is to investigate Utländska biblioteket between 1835–1864. The material consists primarily of primary sources from the archive of Utländska biblioteket. The main primary sources are the library's accounts book, its minutes, and two book catalogs. Using analytical tools from Jürgen Habermas, feminist criticism of his ideas and from Pierre Bourdieu, as well as results from previous research on older library forms and female organization in the 19th century, the thesis answers questions relating to the library as a society, its members and its book collection. The investigation shows that Utländska biblioteket was a subscription library as well as a book circle. Based on its regulations, it should be viewed as a sort of public sphere, but in reality Utländska biblioteket was an exclusive group, consisting of a socially homogenous group of people who in large extent knew each other. Its members were in large part female and aristocratic. The reading of foreign literature and the focus on quality, can be viewed as an act of distinction. Utländska biblioteket was, compared to other similar libraries, unusual primarily because of its large female membership. This is in the thesis explained through the viewing of the library as a female organization, where the male members in part play a role as acting agents in the library's contact with for example book dealers. Also, the book collection shows proof of a certain female subject interest. Based on these facts, Utländska biblioteket can be viewed as a female counter public, where women created a space for themselves where they, through the literature and through the membership in a society, could reflect on their identities, as well as make claims on what a woman was and could do. This is a two years master's thesis in Archive, Library and Museum studies.

An investigation of female leaders' perceptions of themselves and their roles as leaders in a Catholic School

The question of gender in leadership continues to be a contentious and poorly understood phenomenon. There seems general agreement that women do lead differently from men, and this study begins from that premise, focusing on a case in which leadership has traditionally been the domain of females. The case was chosen for its uniqueness, the assumption being that in these circumstances leadership may have developed particular characteristics. Following a qualitative approach (drawing on phenomenology), the study seeks to investigate how women leaders experience their roles as leaders. In-depth interviews made it possible for me to capture the perceptions and experiences of the three women leaders I interviewed. The study reveals that women are more inclined to use interactive styles of leadership. Women use leadership that is more participative, negotiative, cooperative, shared and collaborative. These characteristics are in line with the features of transformational leadership which differs from the more traditional transactional leadership that is more controlled and directive. The study has also shown that leadership develops from within the person of the leader as the leader is the one who spearheads the organization through vision, ideas, beliefs andassumptions. The findings of this study suggest thus that unless women are given chances to prove how they can lead, this new approach of leadership within them and that is required by modern organizations would be lost and leadership would remain relatively unchanged and undesirable. In the context of Namibia, this study should be of potential significance because of the rapid change that is taking place in the inclusion of women in leadership and management positions in education.

This paper aimed to comprehend how the discursive speaker defends himself from that accusation in order to verify the relation that is built among the speaker, his interlocutors and the discursive object. Before such problem questions, the dissertation follows a theoretical and methodological way based on Bakhtin s concepts concerning the discursive ideological relation as the essential element to comprehend the senses of words and the verbal interaction as the essence of the man (the dialogical principal). The study observed the presence of a confrontation between public life and private life which functions as a way to rebuild the discursive object. In the speech of Renan Calheiros, it is not his self-defense which occupies a central role, but values related to privacy and the institution, the Senate. / O presente trabalho tem como objeto de investigação o discurso político do Senador Renan Calheiros (o qual no momento dispunha do cargo de presidência), mais precisamente, seus pronunciamentos no Senado Federal após a denúncia de corrupção da Revista Veja, em maio de 2007. O trabalho buscou compreender como o sujeito discursivo se defende de tal acusação de forma a verificarmos a relação que se constrói entre o sujeito, seus interlocutores e o objeto de seu discurso. Diante de tais questões-problema, o trabalho segue um caminho teórico-metodológico baseado nos pressupostos de Bakhtin quanto à relação discursivo-ideológica na construção dos sentidos e à interação verbal como essência do sujeito: o princípio dialógico. Observou-se a presença de um confronto discursivo-ideológico entre a vida pública e a vida privada que funciona como deslocamento, como reconstrução do objeto discursivo. No centro do discurso de Renan Calheiros não está sua defesa propriamente dita, mas estão os valores relativos à privacidade e à instituição.

This dissertation deals with a Catholic churches sight of nomenclature and exercise of the human rights, namely in comparison with the activity of the worldcommunity couched in the United Nations. The dissertation shows development of church attitude towards definition and nomenclature of the human rigths from the world authority, and presents answers of Catholic doctrine to current problems in this area - for example disunited definitions, difficult exactablement and other. Thesis of this dissertation should to show, that the Christianity fundamentally contributed to currently formulation of the human rights, which is holded for example in UN-documents. Also at the present time can the Catholic church enter very expertly in this discusion, videlicet thank to hundreds of years old teaching about imago Dei, common good, heritage of the 2nd Vatican council and others documents from 20th and beginning of 21st century or ivolvement of the Holy See in the United Nations or other places from world diplomacy.

In this way, we intend to fill the existing gap in the design practice of the field of Architecture and Urbanism, which does not incorporate the citizen in the whole process and which proposes a fragmented analysis of public life. From a bibliographical research, the first part of the study is dedicated to the conceptual body that guided the development of the research, the second contains the sample of the procedures of analysis of public spaces traveled by the analogy of the itinerary, that is, showing how to evaluate and one minimum series of paths, or dimensions, by which the evaluation of public life can be carried out. From this theoretical-methodological referential arised the Public Life Devices that allow the evaluation of public spaces with citizen participation from phases and categories that, in turn, gathering criteria and registration techniques. Against the study can be concluded first that the theories on public life and public space are, , as a rule, contrasting with the Brazilian reality, but this could be changed through citizen participation. In a second moment, it is verified that every project implies in unforeseeable deviations, so, the specialists can’t order and control the experience in a space. But on the other hand this does not constitute negatively and yes portrays the public life itself. It is also considered that the public life notion is not just constituted in using the public space besides the circulation, but in claim the character political, social, affectionate and cognitive in the relationship people/citizen/subject-lived space/ existence. Finally, it is understood that citizen participation is necessary to attend to the aspirations of the population, especially those of the most excluded, besides implying in the full exercise of democracy. / Esta dissertação tem como objetivo definir as variáveis para a avaliação da vida pública nos espaços públicos brasileiros que possa, futuramente, ser aplicada com participação cidadã resultando em diretrizes de atuação. Dessa forma, pretende-se preencher a lacuna existente na prática projetual do campo da Arquitetura e Urbanismo que não incorpora o cidadão em todo o processo e que propõe uma análise fragmentada da vida pública. A partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, a primeira parte do estudo é dedicada ao corpo conceitual que guiou o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, a segunda contém a amostra dos procedimentos de análise de espaços públicos percorridos pela analogia do itinerário, ou seja, mostrando como avaliar e uma série mínima de caminhos, ou dimensões, pelos quais se pode realizar a avaliação da vida pública. Desse referencial teórico-metodológico surgiram os Dispositivos de vida pública que permitem a avaliação dos espaços públicos com participação cidadã a partir de fases e categorias que agregam, por sua vez, critérios e técnicas de registro. Diante do estudo pode-se concluir, primeiramente, que as teorias sobre vida pública e espaço público são, via de regra, contrastantes com a realidade brasileira, mas que isso poderia ser mudado por meio da participação cidadã. Num segundo momento, constata-se que todo projeto implica em desvios imprevisíveis, logo, os especialistas não conseguem ordenar e controlar a vivência em um espaço. Mas que por outro lado isso não se constitui negativamente e sim retrata a própria vida pública. Também se considera que a noção de vida pública não se constitui apenas em usar o espaço público além da circulação, mas de reivindicar o caráter político, social, afetivo e cognitivo na relação pessoas/cidadão/sujeito-espaço vivido/vivência. Por fim, entende-se que a participação cidadã se faz necessária para atender os anseios da população, especialmente os das mais excluídas, além de implicar em exercício pleno de democracia.
