Laboratorní přípravek s analogovou výpočetní jednotkou AD538 / Laboratory device with analog computational unit AD538

Hruboš, Zdeněk January 2009 (has links)
An analog multiplier are circuits, that are realized multiplication of two analog signals. They can be made by suitable connection (according to function) discreet parts. Nowadays there are integrated circuits in advance function, whose internal structure is made by complex of circuits with operating ampfliers and other circuits. These circuits have a very high accuracy of arithmetic operation which is mostly better than 1%. The analog multiplier are used in situation, when we need realize multiplication, division, exponentation, square root extraction and logarithmic calculation of analog signals. In the next are used in circuits for multiplication of frequency, shifting of frequency, amplitude modulation, detection phase angel of two signals with the same frequency, etc. The AD538 is a monolithic real-time computational circuit that provides precision analog multiplication, division and exponentiation. The combination of low input and output offset voltages and excellent linearity results in accurate computation over an unusually wide input dynamic range.

Müller, Tomáš January 2010 (has links)
This thesis deals with method of measuring optical beam intensity, searching for communication system beam using stepper motor movement of the optical head and processing measured signal for displaying on PC. The basic theory of optoelectronics is shown here concerning the problem. There is elaborated main principles of photodetector and stepper motor mainly, which are main part of device. The second part of work is theoretical design of data recorder. All parts are described individually-their characteristics and conditions for correct usage. In the last part setup of device is explained, with the references to blocks of written programs. In the last part, main funcrions of system, its hardware managing and communication are described. At the very end of thesis, examples of measured data are presented.

Modelování závislých životů / Modelling dependent lives

Pavčová, Eva January 2017 (has links)
Title: Modelling Dependent Lives Author: Eva Pavčová Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: RNDr. Lucie Mazurová, Ph.D., Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Abstract: In this thesis, we model the dependence between the remaining lifetimes of a husband and wife using a specific Markov model. We examined the impact of the dependence on the net single premium using the specific Markov model that captures the long-term dependence between lifetimes of the two considered lives. Using this model we have calculated 10-year joint-life annuity due and 10-year last-survivor annuity due considering the age rage (37, 80) in case of dependence and also independence of the two considered lives. The calculations were based on the dataset related to the Czech population in 2015. The impact of the dependence between the remaining lifetimes of the husband and wife was found to be not significant. Keywords: positive quadrant depedence, multiple life insurance premiums, depen- dent lifetimes, joint-life annuity, last-survivor annuity, joint-life and last-survivor models

Detektor pozice laserového svazku / Position sensing detector

Ha, Tuan January 2020 (has links)
This thesis deals with design of a laser position detector. Different types of sensor are mentioned and compared at the beginning. Special attention is paid to quadrant sensor. Its pros and cons are discussed with designing methods. The sensor is simulated in Matlab to test its output response. Then the laboratory tests follow to meassure real response of the chip. Then follows the design of the detector based on measured and simulated data. In the conclusion of this thesis parameters of created device are evaluated.

Laboratorní soustrojí s asynchronním a stejnosměrným motorem / Laboratory machine-set with induction and DC machine

Hudák, Ondřej January 2012 (has links)
The work addresses the design and implementation of a universal laboratory workstation designed to teach a course on electrical drives. Workplace will be formed sets consisting of DC motor with permanent magnet on a 400W power supply voltage of 24V and induction motor with 180W power on 3x24V. The engines are connected through a flexible shaft coupling. The asynchronous motor is located on the extended shaft resolver for scanning speed and rotor position. Both engines will be supplied from the transistor inverters. The workplace will be designed for maximum clearness and resistance to damage by improper handling.

Continuous Noninvasive Monitoring of Lung Recruitment during High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation by Electrical Impedance Measurement: An Animal Study

Burkhardt, Wolfram, Kurth, Florian, Pitterle, Manuela, Blassnig, Nicola, Wemhöner, Andreas, Rüdiger, Mario 04 August 2020 (has links)
Background: Ventilatory pressures should target the range between the upper and lower inflection point of the pressure volume curve in order to avoid atelecto- and volutrauma. During high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), this range is difficult to determine. Quadrant impedance measurement (QIM) has recently been shown to allow accurate and precise measurement of lung volume changes during conventional mechanical ventilation. Objectives: To investigate if QIM can be used to determine a static pressure-residual impedance curve during a recruitment-derecruitment manoeuvre on HFOV and to monitor the time course of alveolar recruitment after changing mean airway pressure (MAP). Methods: An incremental and decremental MAP trial (6 cm H₂O to 27 cm H₂O) was conducted in five surfactantdepleted newborn piglets during HFOV. Ventilatory, gas exchange and haemodynamic parameters were recorded. Continuous measurement of thoracic impedance change was performed. Results: Mean residual impedance (RI) increased with each stepwise increase of MAP resulting in a total mean increase of +26.5% (±4.0) at the highest MAP (27 cm H₂O) compared to baseline ventilation at 6 cm H₂O. Upon decreasing MAP levels, RI fell more slowly compared to its ascent; 83.4% (±19.1) and 84.8% (±16.4) of impedance changes occurred in the first 5 min after an increase or decrease in airway pressure, respectively. Conclusions: QIM could be used for continuous monitoring of thoracic impedance and determination of the pressure-RI curve during HFOV. The method could prove to be a promising bedside method for the monitoring of lung recruitment during HFOV in the future.

Urban church, re-developing space within Pretoria's Schubart Park complex

Swart, Johan 09 December 2010 (has links)
The study investigates the development of church infrastructure within the urban environment. A symbiotic interaction between church form and urban conditions is proposed and contextualised through analysis of existing church models and current spatial concerns within Pretoria’s inner-city. The potential of church as agent for urban renewal and community development is identified and the study generates a spatial and programmatic model aligned with the inner-city’s need for meaningful and integrated interventions. A systemic definition of church proposes a multi-layered programme based on partnership and interaction while alternative church positioning suggests the concept of re-claiming inner-city spaces, applied through the re-development of the Schubart Park housing complex. / Dissertation (MArch(Prof))--University of Pretoria, 2010. / Architecture / unrestricted
