Este estudo investiga o comportamento e a percepção de consumidores do Camelódromo Shopping do Porto, localizado na cidade de Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, em relação à moda - considerada um fenômeno social que torna particular as ações referentes ao consumo e à aparência nas sociedades nas quais está presente. Argumenta-se que, inicialmente restrito às elites, o fenômeno de moda passou a habitar não apenas o imaginário, mas os guarda-roupas populares. A investigação empírica desenvolveu-se em duas etapas: um estudo qualitativo seguido por um estudo quantitativo. Foram investigadas as motivações de consumo de consumidores de vestuário do Camelódromo, considerando a capacidade do consumo de moda como demarcador de fronteiras simbólicas de classe, gênero, idade e individualidade, assim como as formas como o fenômeno de moda é por eles percebido, em ambos os casos, considerando a variabilidade de idade, gênero, renda e grau de escolaridade dos consumidores investigados. O conjunto de dados construídos permite concluir que os consumidores estudados apreendem o fenômeno de moda como um conjunto de normas diversas e efêmeras quanto ao vestir, significativamente relacionado ao novo, mas não as absorvem passivamente: eles reivindicam a posse de seus corpos e iniciativas individuais quanto à construção da própria aparência. O consumo de moda é motivado, sobretudo, pela busca por conforto, distinção identitária ou pela construção de uma aparência considerada esteticamente atraente e sedutora. / This study aimed on examining the behavior and perceptions of consumers in a popular shopping center, the Camelódromo Shopping do Porto, concerning fashion - considered a social phenomenon that particularized actions concerning the appearance and consumption in societies where this phenomenon operates. The Camelódromo Shopping do Porto is located in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. This study argues that, initially restricted to the elite, the phenomenon of fashion not only joined in the popular imagination, but in their wardrobes. The empirical research has developed in two stages: a qualitative study and a quantitative study. The motivations of consumer consumption of Camelódromo clothing were investigated considering the capacity of consumption of fashion to establish symbolic boundaries of social class, gender, age and individuality, as well as the forms such as the phenomenon of fashion is perceived by them; in both cases, considering the variability of age, gender, income and education level. The results of this study show that investigated consumers perceive the phenomenon of fashion as a set of different and ephemeral rules referring to the dress, significantly related to the new. But they don’t absorb these rules passively: they claim ownership of their bodies and individual initiatives in construction of their appearance. The consumption of fashion is principally driven by the quest for comfort, distinct identity or by building an aesthetically appealing and seductive look. / Este estudio investiga el comportamiento y las percepciones de consumidores de un centro de compras popular, el Camelódromo Shopping do Porto, en Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, sobre la moda - fenómeno social que hace peculiar acciones relacionadas al consumo y la apariencia en las sociedades que opera. Se argumenta que, inicialmente limitado a las élites, el fenómeno de la moda empezó a habitar no sólo el imaginario, pero los armarios de los populares. La investigación empírica se ha desarrollado en dos etapas: un estudio cualitativo, seguido de un estudio cuantitativo. Se investigaron las motivaciones del consumo de ropa de consumidores del Camelódromo, teniendo en cuenta la capacidad del consumo de moda en delimitar fronteras simbólicas de clase social, género, edad e individualidad y las formas como el fenómeno de la moda es por ellos percibido; teniendo en cuenta la variabilidad de la edad, género, ingresos y nivel educativo. This Diploma theses is dealing with the creation of general current list of reserves, production, consumption and trade of each energy raw material with a view to fossil fuel. The introduction of my work is applied to general reflection reflecting present state of fuel issue. The following chapters are talking about the aims of my work, the literature analysis and the methodology. After the introductory part there are particular chapters talking about crude oil, gas and coal. All these parts of work are dividend into the subchapters containing general introduction that describes each energy raw material. This work brings the inttegrated current data of mined fuel material organized into the synoptic tables. These tables are completed with schematic graphs. The assembled tables determine the list of the biggest international producers, consumers, shippers and importers of each strategic energy commodity. The conclusion of study belongs to the summary of determined aims of work and the outline of importance of fuels in the present-day world.

This diploma thesis dissertates about energy security of the European Union and the Czech Republic in the context of the foreign relations with Russia. It is focused on Russia as the biggest supplier of energy resources to the fore mentioned regions. Energy dependence of EU and the Czech Republic on Russia exceeds 50 %. This dependency is inevitable and is caused by the insufficiency of EU's and Czech Republic's own resources and above all it is very dangerous because of Russia's frequent nondemocratic behavior. The gap in demand of energy resources cannot be covered even by alternative energy recourses, which are in this thesis divided into renewable recourses and nuclear energy.

Depleting fossil fuel reserves in EU and energy consumption growth lead to the fact that the European Union is becoming increasingly dependent on energy imports. The most important energy partner of the EU is Russia which delivers the biggest volumes of oil and natural gas to european countries. High rate of energy dependency on Russia is - especially in the context of gas crisis - perceived as a threat to EU energy security and it is necessary to deal with it immediately. The aims of the European Union policy on energy are to achieve higher territorial diversification of fossil fuel suppliers and transit countries and diversification of the EU energy mix, to promote renewable forms of energy and to establish common energy market to ensure solidarity among EU member states. European Union also should learn how to act as "one actor" and "one voice" on energy relations with Russia because that could help to ensure better negotiation position and to become a sovereign partner in mutual energy relations with Russia.

With the waning amount of easily accessible light oil reserves it is likely that the unconventional oil resources where the production is both energetically and financially challenging will become more and more important.

This thesis aims to set a complex view on the economy of the Russian Federation, show its strengths and weaknesses and evaluate its competitiveness in the context of oil and gas reserves. For this purpose the thesis is divided into three chapters. The first one analyses Russian macroeconomics and rates its efficiency, especially after 2000 and in relation to the global financial and economic crisis in 2008. Furthermore, the thesis describes country's energetic sector, its issues and perspectives, impact on economic growth and consequences of insufficient diversification and Russian dependency on export of resources. The main contribution of the thesis represents the last chapter which aims to identify Russian potential with regard to competitiveness, classify its possibilities, suggest solutions and changes needed to enhance competitiveness and ensure sustainable growth independent on resource prices. In conclusion, possible perspectives of Russian development until 2030 are brought forward. The analysis of competitiveness is based on the methodology of the World Economic Forum and Global competitiveness index.
