Title Evaluation of walking, running and overarm throwing of preschool children. Work objectives The thesis aim is to identify and assess the level of selected movement skills of walking, running and overarm throwing in preschool children from three to six years. Movement level will be determined using the manuals and methodologies written by Haywood. During the measurement, we will focus on gender differences in movement levels and movement differences between various age categories, thus between 3 - 4 and 5 - 6 years old children from the analyzed sample. The sub-objective is to determine whether manuals and methodologies, written by the mentioned author above, can be applied to preschool children in the Czech conditions. Methodology Physical level of preschool children was assessed qualitatively. Qualitative assessment of the walking, running and overarm throwing level was executed by observation. For a record of our observation, we used a digital camera, which enables more precise movement analysis by slow motion mode. The statically placed camera recorded movements from sides, front and back. Results 31 children including 18 boys and 13 girls were evaluated in overall. We have noticed that children acquire the walking best, because all 31 children reached the mature form of walking....

Příprava na nejdelší triatlonový závod (Ironmana) / Preparing for the longest triathlon - IronmanMika, Tomáš January 2011 (has links)
Triathlon is still a popular sport that is gaining more and morepopular. We distinguish two basic directions. Short, or if the Olympictriathlon and long, or if Ironman. In my work I examine the long triathlon. Its history, training cycle and its specifics. I myself an active rider, so this issue is very close to me. I work divided into a theoretical part, where I deal with theories and general laws of triathlon. Such as history, specifics of Ironman training and unit training cycle disciplines of triathlon course and other sub-themes, which veryclosely related to the topic. In the empirical part, I chose the method ofexperiment and research he firsthand, I attended a long distance triathlon race in the annualtraining cycle. Acquired knowledge, I capitalized on in the race and described in this thesis. This work may serve as a kind of guidance and example, and the direction of training, which can be applied when attempting to handle the challenge on behalf ofIronman. I deal with are also problems of nutrition during the race, which is out of a totaltrénovanosti organism one of the most important factors affecting performance. The workcontains several training and racing tips that I gained studying foreign literature and own racing experience.

Vliv asymetrické zátěže na stereotyp běhu / Effect of asymmetric load on the stereotype of running.Holíková, Dana January 2013 (has links)
Title: Effect of asymmetric load on the stereotype of running. Objectives: The aim of this experimental work is to evaluace the electromyographic activity of selected muscles when running without load and with load on the treadmill, and the co- current assessment of the impact of asymmetric load on the lateral weight distribution. Methods: Six recreational runners underwent the experiment during which we monitored electrical activity of m. deltoideus pars anterior, m. trapezius pars ascendes et descendens, lumbar paraspinal muscles, m. gastrocnemius lateralis and m. tibialis anterior while running without load and with load on the periphery of the upper right extremity. For the experiment a motor treadmill at a constant speed of 10 km/h was used and a 0,5 l PET bottle completely filled with water was applied as the load. Changes of lateral weight distribution were assessed having investigated stance on two scales. The measured values were statistically evaluated. Results: Within the group of all the probands it was proved that there existed an impact on normalized average amplitude of EMG signal at left-oriented m. gastrocnemius lateralis. The hypothesis of the influence of asymmetric load on the lateral weight distribution was not demonstrated. Keywords: endurance running, surface...

Srovnání posturální stabilizace u atletů a trailových běžců pomocí posturální somatooscilografie / Comparison of postural stabilization of athletes and trail runners with postural somatoosilographyČajka, Vladimír January 2015 (has links)
Title: Comparison of postural stabilization of athletes and trail runners with postural somatoosilography. Objectives: The main aim of this study is comparison of postural stability of athletes (track runners) and trail runners. We want to determine, if run in the field can affect positive postural stabilization. Methods: In our thesis we used a method of analysis and a method of comparison. Analysis is performed with postural somatooscilography (PSOG). This method contains postural provocation test on Posturomed. Oscilation of this platform is shooted in program Microswing 5.0. Then these dates are evaluated in program Posturomed Commander. We compared these dates with statistical methods and box plots in program Statistica 10 and Microsoft Excel 2007. Results: We found out when we compared 17 trail runners and 11 track runners that trail runners reached better postural stability. Trail runners had better postural stability in the first measurement and also had better results in comparison of three measurements. Track runners achieved the best results in the third measurement and trail runners had the best results of postural stabilization in the second measurement. Keywords: postural stabilization, biomechanics of running, Posturomed, postural somatooscilography

Purchasing behaviour is therefore investigated in the phase before purchasing running shoes, when purchasing running shoes and after that as well. Methods: An online survey method through a specialized website Click4survey has been used to obtain the resulting data. A questionnaire consisting of 26 questions, which helped to determine the results and to achieve the objectives of this thesis, was created on this website. Results: Purchasing behavior of runners in choosing running shoes was described based on information obtained from the online questionnaire. Runners collect information mostly from the internet, they highlight the comfort of the running shoes and they belong rather to satisfied and loyal customers. The ascertained values have brought also other interesting findings and also have brought a new perspective on the issue of purchasing behavior and decision-making process of a very specific customer group, the runners. Idrottsskador vid löpning, vilken betydelse har löparskons egenskaper? : En LitteraturstudieGesar, Fredrik January 2017 (has links)

Ontspanning en prestasie in padatletiek10 September 2015 (has links)
D.Litt. et Phil. / South Africa is currently entering a phase of increased international sport participation. Apart from the fact that due to isolation the country has fallen behind in this regard, sport is currently also one of the biggest industries, and it may thus play an important role in the country's economy. Road running has been one of the country's most popular sports for quite some time now. It has already been determined that relaxation may possibly be one of the most important sport psychological components for success in road running. A specific relaxation exercise through which road athletes' performances in races may possibly be improved does not exist. It would thus be necessary to develop such a relaxation exercise and to determine its effect on road athletes' performances in a specific race ...
