Vytváření OLAP modelů reportů na základě metadat / OLAP Reports Model Creating Based on Metadata

Franek, Zdenko January 2010 (has links)
An important part of knowledge of report creator is knowledge of database schema and database query language, from which the data for report are extracted. In the reporting services for database systems and Business Intelligence systems initiative arises to separate the position of database specialist from the position of reports maker. One of the solutions offers using metadata interlayer between the database schema and report. This interlayer is called the report model. Its use is not currently supported in the process of reporting, or is only very limited. The aim of this thesis is to suggest the possibility of using the report model in the process of building reports with an emphasis on the OLAP analysis.

Gender Performativity and Motherhood in Coraline / Genusperformativitet och moderskap i Coraline

Nilsson, Nina January 1980 (has links)
Coraline by Neil Gaiman has several characters who in many ways break gender norms. The main protagonist of the novel, Coraline, acts more in accordance with masculine gender norms, and the mother figures are mothers who do not fully conform to the traditional mother role. The purpose of this study is to look at how Coraline and the mother figures perform their gender, and in which ways this breaks with or aligns with traditional gender norms. The analytical approach is based on Judith Butler’s theory of gender performativity, and on masculine and feminine gender schemas defined by John Stephens. For the analysis of motherhood, gender performativity has also been used, and works by Adrienne Rich and Einat Natalie Palkovich. This study shows that the protagonists challenge traditional gender role norms of masculinity and femininity, whereof motherhood is part. The study also shows that there is a lack of female role models for the young protagonist, and that acting according to masculine gender norms is desirable and necessary in the novel. But for the mothers, breaking gender norms is undesirable, dangerous, and even punished. A conclusion of the study is that even though Coraline appears to be a feminist novel, the underlying message is not entirely so.

Att läsa på och mellan raderna : En studie av inferenser i textsamtal om en bilderbok. / Reading on and between the lines : A study of inferences in a text conversation on a picture book.

Lingmert Karlsson, Stephanie, Persson, Johanna January 2017 (has links)
The main purpose of the study is to see if there is a difference in level of inferences pupils do with different amount of teacher support during text conversations. The focus of the text conversations is making inferences and asking questions to the text with the purpose to make balanced inferences. The selected pupils were in grade three and took part in a text conversation on a picture book. The groups were, by the teacher, pre-divided into a group of weaker readers and a group with stronger readers. The differences between the groups was not known before the study and is therefore considered a coincidence. The lessons the groups took part in are based on David A. Kolb (1984) experiential learning model and the teaching model reciprocal teaching (RT). Together they are the foundation of the text conversations. RT focuses on reading strategies and the teachers role in the development of reading comprehension and Kolb focuses on the different phases of learning. The result from the two lessons are analysed with the purpose to find level differences in the inferences the pupils do on balanced inference questions and non balanced inference questions. The results from the two lessons are compared with the aim to see if there is a difference between lessons with more teacher support, and lessons with less teacher support. The study shows that there is a difference in inference levels between the two lessons and the conclusion is that it is necessary to give weaker readers greater teacher support. This is then transmitted to concern all students in their early reading because a greater teacher support in learning reading strategies gives a better reading comprehension.

The Role of Strength: Navigating Perinatal Loss Among Black Women

Hill, Ashley N 01 January 2019 (has links)
In the U.S., Black mothers experience fetal and infant mortality at alarming rates when compared to White and Latina mothers (Gregory, Drake, & Martin, 2018). The intent of this study was to examine perinatal loss among Black American women and to expand understanding of how the Strong Black Woman (SBW) ideology influences bereavement. Data were gathered from (N=109) Black American bereaved mothers. It was predicted that endorsement of differing aspects of the SBW would moderate the relationship between perinatal grief and psychosocial outcomes (i.e., depression and post-traumatic growth). Regression analyses, alongside a bootstrapping procedure via PROCESS (Hayes, 2017), were used to evaluate the moderation models. Results yielded a model of perinatal bereavement among Black American mothers. In particular, reliance on spirituality moderated the relationship between perinatal grief and depression, while the obligation to manifest strength moderated the relation between perinatal grief and posttraumatic growth (PTG). Neither moderated moderation model was significant. The model provided significant implications for clinical practice and intervention.

Visualization and Analysis of Flow Fields based on Clifford Convolution

Ebling, Julia 19 October 2017 (has links)
Vector fields from flow visualization often containmillions of data values. It is obvious that a direct inspection of the data by the user is tedious. Therefore, an automated approach for the preselection of features is essential for a complete analysis of nontrivial flow fields. This thesis deals with automated detection, analysis, and visualization of flow features in vector fields based on techniques transfered from image processing. This work is build on rotation invariant template matching with Clifford convolution as developed in the diploma thesis of the author. A detailed analysis of the possibilities of this approach is done, and further techniques and algorithms up to a complete segmentation of vector fields are developed in the process. One of the major contributions thereby is the definition of a Clifford Fourier transform in 2D and 3D, and the proof of a corresponding convolution theorem for the Clifford convolution as well as other major theorems. This Clifford Fourier transform allows a frequency analysis of vector fields and the behavior of vectorvalued filters, as well as an acceleration of the convolution computation as a fast transform exists. The depth and precision of flow field analysis based on template matching and Clifford convolution is studied in detail for a specific application, which are flow fields measured in the wake of a helicopter rotor. Determining the features and their parameters in this data is an important step for a better understanding of the observed flow. Specific techniques dealing with subpixel accuracy and the parameters to be determined are developed on the way. To regard the flow as a superposition of simpler features is a necessity for this application as close vortices influence each other. Convolution is a linear system, so it is suited for this kind of analysis. The suitability of other flow analysis and visualization methods for this task is studied here as well. The knowledge and techniques developed for this work are brought together in the end to compute and visualize feature based segmentations of flow fields. The resulting visualizations display important structures of the flow and highlight the interesting features. Thus, a major step towards robust and automatic detection, analysis and visualization of flow fields is taken.

Analyse der Wiederverwendung zum Schema-Matching

Maßmann, Sabine 20 October 2017 (has links)
