Sjuksköterskan inom den palliativa vården

Kristoffersson, Martin, Laas, Jonathan January 2014 (has links)
Background: Palliative care is about caring for patients at the end of life. From its inception in the mid-1900s until now, it has undergone major changes and the ideas about how this care should be carried out is now divided. The modern palliative care aims to give patients good health-wise last time, when the purpose has shifted from curing the patient to symptomatically treat to reduce the pain and discomfort of illness. Aim: To illustrate the qualities and abilities that nurses in palliative inpatient care consider most important in order to meet the patients’ needs in the final stages of life. Method: Five semi-structured interviews were conducted based on an interview guide created according to Dahlen guidelines. The interviews were then analysed according Graneheim & Lund's model. Results: The results are presented in two major categories and their associated skills and abilities that emerged during the interviews. Skills and abilities highlighted are: humility, communication with colleagues, flexibility, responsiveness, ability to see the total pain and communication with the patient. These skills and abilities are those the informants thought were important in order to provide good palliative care. The interviewed nurses pointed out that these qualities and abilities that were highlighted as important for palliative care was also important in other health care disciplines to achieved good healthcare but the focus on social caring within palliative was practiced in a bigger extent compared to other departments.

Posturální funkce v časném věku a výsledný stav motorických funkcí ve školním věku / Postural function at early age and final condition of motor functions at Preschool age

Líbalová, Kateřina January 2012 (has links)
In its theoretical part, the thesis "Postural Function at Early Age and Final Condition of Motor Functions at Preschool Age" summarizes the knowledge of motor abilities and skills, postural control and development, control and development of rough and fine motorics. At the same time, the theoretical part resumes briefly characteristic features of developmental coordination disorders, way of their diagnostics and possible treatment. Furthermore, it presents the most common tests used for motorics assessment and its disorders. Practical part focuses on comparison of results according to developmental kinesiology as an investigation method and MABC-2 test. There have not been found any statistically important relations between the results of the developmental kinesiology test as an investigation method performed in the first and fifth week and in the third month of postnatal development and the results of MABC-2 test performed in the same children at school age. Likewise, there seem to be no statistically important relation between the results of MABC-2 test in children playing sports and those not playing any sport, neither in the results of MABC-2 test in children of sporting parents and non- sporting parents. Key words: Postural function, developmental kinesiology, motor abilities, motor skills,...

Currently, this is the responsibility of Pedagogy courses, which, after reformulations in their curricula, are based on the principle that training in the paradigm of teaching skills and abilities. This research aims at investigating skills and teaching skills that give a position to exercise their teaching professor in mathematics at the stage of basic education, committed to the mathematics education of their students. This led us to wonder whether the powers and abilities to teach mathematics are being developed in t he process of initial formation of the current curriculum for the Bachelor of Education, State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), after the curriculum reform, and if result in a literacy for teaching mathematics in the early years of elementary school. Our aim was to reveal to what extent the current Educational Project of Bachelor of Education includes the development of such skills and teaching skills for working with the math, showing the points where there are gaps in what we are calling for literacy teaching math in the early years. A qualitative, this research relied on procedures of content analysis (Bardin, 2009) for the analysis of empirical evidence, grounded in the categorical theory of semiotic representation registers (Duval, 1999 ,2004). First we analyzed official documents (National Curriculum Guidelines) regarding the development of skills and abilities in the process of initial training. Such skills are founded by teachers knowledge of Shulman (1986) and Gauthier (2006). From this, we analyzed the Educational Project of the Bachelor of Education (PPCLP) of UEPG, to verify what he is contemplating those powers listed in official documents. We found the implied powers on menus of some subjects and we infer that are conditional on a crosscurricular work of the trainer. As we had to verify the effectiveness of what we find in PPCLP, we developed other instruments to collect information that came to meet this goal. The first had questions that would reveal the identity of teaching undergraduates, so that we could verify the extent to which this course is reflected as a training course for teachers, since to assume responsibilities for the mathematics education of their future students, with undergrad uates need to identify themselves as teachers. The second instrument, the more specific issues had simulated the process of teaching and learning of mathematics in order to verify the actual realization of the implication that we find in PPCLP. The results showed us a lack of knowledge of mathematical content, the mathematics curriculum of the early years of elementary school and the pedagogical processes involved in mathematics by those licensees, showing us that PPCLP is flawed both in the question of identification of their teaching licensees regarding the development of skills and abilities, thereby undermining literacy for teaching mathematics in the early years.

Vidutinių specialiųjų ugdymosi poreikių turinčių mokinių gebėjimai ir įgūdžiai atliekant veiksmus su matiniais skaičiais / Skills and abilities of pupils with medial special educational needs in performing actions witch flat numbers

Mažonienė, Valdonė 04 August 2011 (has links)
[toliau žr. visą tekstą] / In the bachelor‘s final work there are researched the influence of practical tasks (teaching to weight, measure) for educating abilities and skills in performing actions with flat numbers of pupils with medial special educational needs. There is compared how pupils can to perform tasks with flat numbers in writing and in special practice. There was formulated the hypothesis that using practical tasks in the mathematics education process help pupils with medial special educational needs to master schoolwork about measurements and flat numbers and to form skills in performing actions with flat numbers. Six pupils of eleventh class with medial special educational needs which are educated according to the adapted mathematics educational program from Šiauliai Special Education Centre took part in the research. Doing this research there were used nonstandard test (in written), conversation, quality data analysis and practical methods (practice). At the beginning of the research pupils couldn’t carry out tasks independently therefore they were proposed to fulfill practical tasks at the first. Special practice tasks (weighting, measuring) helped pupils to perform tasks independently. Caring out each task of the test pupils remembered practical tasks fulfilling and on the basis of their acquired knowledge tried to perform writing tasks. During the conversation and practice pupils could to fulfill actions with flat numbers and recognized how to measure and weight things. However... [to full text]

Santana, Edenilza Mendonça 09 March 2018 (has links)
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / This study sought to assess the performance of students entering and graduating from graduate courses and Bachelor's degree in chemistry from Brazil, in the national examination performance of students (ENADE) in 2011 and 2014, with a view to identify whether the higher education courses in Chemistry provides students the development of critical thinking skills. The study is based on a documentary research, developed through the mixed method, from the concomitant triangulation strategy, in which the issues were used to General knowledge of the ENADE and micro-data on these issues that are provided by the National Institute of studies and research Anísio Teixeira (INEP). The classification of objective issues of general training of ENADE-2011 and 2014, according to the taxonomy of critical thinking. From this classification, worked with the performance variable, corresponding to the grades obtained by the students on the issues, relating it to three independent variables: i) course (baccalaureate and teaching licensure, whereas students freshmen and seniors); II) institution (public or private) and iii) school (public or private). Employed the Chi-square test for the analysis of these pairs, in order to identify which variable is more relevant to the students ' performance on issues that demand critical thinking capabilities. With the analysis made, it was found that the issues require critical thinking skills to your resolution and in variable course, graduating students of both courses feature superior performance. In the institution, when students are owned by private institutions of higher education, students graduating graduation exhibit superior performance, even when the students are in public institutions, the freshmen have a greater emphasis on performance. In the school, students of public schools demonstrate better performance when they are seniors. Students who come from private schools, have a superior performance when they are entering. With regard to data observed for the year 2011, no statistically significant difference was identified in any of the comparisons made between freshmen and graduates students, independent of the variable used.

Social science theatchers thoughts on societals concept in social studies. : A study in the focus group interview method of nine professional social sciense teatchers in two different upper secondary schools.

Andersson, Jemima January 2019 (has links)
The purpose of this qualitative study is to investigate how social science teachers perceive and express the concept of society in social studies. The study consists of focus group interviews with nine social science teachers at two upper secondary schools and its results are analyzed against the theoretical backdrop of Odenstad's orientation topics, analytical subjects and discussion topics and Sandahl’s first-order and second-order concepts. In short, the two different conceptual devices can be described as the skills and abilities that are most important for the students to master in order to develop advanced thinking skills in social science. Particular emphasis is put on critical thinking, that is, the ability to seek, structure and evaluate information from different sources and to draw conclusions from this process. The emerging results show a certain consensus on the concept of society among social science teachers as the potential subject of study and analysis that would simplify and clarify the analyses of the different levels in society which, in turn, would contribute to adding significance and bringing cohesion to the subject as a whole. As for the skills and abilities that stem from Odenstad's orientation topics and Sandahl’s first-order concepts, the interviewed teachers all emphasize conceptual ability as well as good external knowledge to have knowledge of how society is made up. With reference to Odenstad's analytical subject and discussion topics and Sandahl's second-order concepts, it would seem that it is not only important but a prerequisite that students develop an analytical ability and critical thinking as well as the ability to sift through and process large amounts of information and assume different perspectives on the topic or issue at hand.
