Adicción a internet y clima social familiar en estudiantes peruanos de educación secundaria / Internet addiction and family social climate in Peruvian high school students

Atúncar Guillén, Melissa Nataly 16 June 2020 (has links)
Introduction: Currently, the Internet leads one of the most outstanding technological means in society for providing diverse benefits to the user. Despite having this great potential of reach, it is also considered harmful since it would affect different areas of the person if there is no control in their use. For this reason, it was considered to determine the relationship between internet addiction and the dimensions of the family social climate in Peruvian high school students. Method: Correlated cross-sectional quantitative research was conducted and the sample selection method was intentional non-probabilistic. A sample of 400 students was used, were the Family Social Climate Scale and the Lima Internet Addiction Scale were applied. Results: According to the results, it was found that there is a weak relationship (r> .22) between internet addiction and the dimensions of family social climate. Furthermore, within the correlations, considered weak, the one with the greatest magnitude is the dimension of family relationships (r = .215). Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a weak relationship between internet addiction and the dimensions of the family social climate, which implies that it is not necessary to carry out an intervention program in one of these variables; Well, apparently, they have no effect on each other and there could be other variables to consider such as family type, social environment and the technological age. / Tesis

Self-determined motivation in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners: gender, age and competition experience differences

Doinakis, Panagiotis January 2023 (has links)
Martial arts (MA) and combat sports (CS) demand significant physical, mental, and emotional engagement in both training and competition. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), known for its intricate mastery requirements, operates within a performance-oriented climate where unmet goals can lead to diminished interest. Investigating the motivational drivers behind continued participation in BJJ is thus pertinent. This study aims to explore motivational factors among BJJ practitioners. A total of 70 participants, including 30 women (43.3%) and 40 men (56.7%) aged 15 to 60+, with training experience ranging from 0-1 year to 10+ years, completed the Sports Motivation Scale (SMS-6). The survey assessed factors influencing their engagement in BJJ. Analysis suggests that gender differences may contribute to variations in amotivation within the sport. Higher competitive experience participants valued factors like interest/enjoyment, competence, and fitness more than social status and appearance, unlike lower competitive experience participants. Notably, individuals with higher competitive experience exhibited lower motivational scores on the assessed subscale factors compared to lower competitive experience participants. The study's findings indicate that individuals with significant competitive experience attribute greater significance and commitment to their involvement in BJJ. Additionally, the results show that women exhibit a slightly lower amotivation score compared to men, suggesting a marginal decrease in mens enthusiasm for practicing the sport.

Využití metod dramatické výchovy ve druhé třídě základní školy / How to use drama education methodology in the second grade of a lower primary school

Nedvědilová, Denisa January 2016 (has links)
There are two - for me very important reasons - why I have chosen this topic for my work. The first one - using drama education at common lessons seems to be a kind of problem for many people, including teachers, unfortunately. Drama education is being a discussed problem more and more nowadays. Starting working with a new - quite problematic - class that has never dealt with drama education is the reason number two for me. The main focus of my work is observing the influence of drama education on the class team and the relationships among the children in the class. The dissertation is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is concentrated on characteristics of a young learner. I am going to explain what drama education is - its aims, forms and methods. The practical part includes all the drama activities that I have used during a term. (All of them are concentrated on improving the situation in the class on the whole.) There is also described the teacher's work with a new group of children and if using drama education enables both social climate in the class and the work of single child to be influenced. Key words drama education, young learner, social climate, cooperation, project

Sociální prostředí a polarizace v suburbiu: případová studie Jesenice u Prahy / Social environment and polarisation within suburb: case study Jesenice u Prahy

Pechová, Magdaléna January 2019 (has links)
5 ABSTRACT Suburbanization is the process of moving residents from the core city to the outskirts. Newly-migrants from the city often carry different views and lifestyles than the original inhabitants of the village, which may be the cause of social polarisation. The general aim of the thesis is to evaluate the development of the social environment, to describe and explain the consequences of suburbanization on social polarisation in the Prague city region on the example of Jesenice u Prahy. Within the general objective, the thesis sets two partial objectives: Describe the demographic development of the population, the development of housing construction and the age structure in Jesenice. Compare the results of the social climate from Petra Puldová's thesis (2006), describe how the social climate has changed over the past 13 years. The questionnaire survey is used to fulfill both the general and the second partial objective. The questionnaire is used to find out if the respondents have mutual relations with the original and new inhabitants, how satisfied they are with the life in the municipality, social cohesion, how they participate in social and political life. To meet the first partial objective,an analysis of statistical data from the Czech Statistical Office is used. Keywords: residential...

Plutino, Anne-Marie 09 1900 (has links)
Even though it is largely recognized in various psychosocial intervention settings that the counselor is one of the main active component of an intervention efficacy – and it is one of the central postulate of psychoeducation –, there are still very few empirically-validated instruments for the assessment of a youth counselors’ team functioning. Still, there is one interesting instrument for assessing the social climate of a team, the Counselors’ Team Social Climate Questionnaire (“Questionnaire du climat social de l’équipe d’intervenants”, QCSÉI; Le Blanc, Trudeau-Le Blanc, & Lanctôt, 1999; Moos 1987). The QCSÉI is composed of 10 first order scales. In his theoretical writings, Moos (2003) suggested that the social climate is a hierarchical construct and that all instruments measuring different foci of the social climate should group into three higher-order dimensions, namely Relationships, Personal Growth, and System Maintenance and Change. A conceptual examination of the QCSÉI scales suggested that this theoretical model is problematic. This study aimed at evaluating if the hierarchical structure postulated by Moos was adequate in a sample of youth counselors from Quebec. The sample that was used was composed of youth counselors from Boscoville2000, a residential cognitive-behavioral intervention program for adolescents with serious adjustment problems. Exploratory factor analyses first demonstrated that the first order structure was well reproduced. Two additional scales judged as important aspects of the social climate were then added. Next, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses confirmed that the theoretical hierarchical structure with three higher-order dimensions was not well reproduced in the data. The analyses rather revealed an alternative structure that was conceptually more interesting and provided a better fit to the data. Correlations between the teams’ social climate and youth counselors’ personality traits, as well as socio-demographic and professional practice variables provided evidence suggesting that the instrument have acceptable criterion-related validity.
